Progress Update - week 11 - 24'

Hey,

So as you can see the update is taking longer than expected. Each passing day I was hoping I would get an update finished the next day, but the next day had even more problems. All of them were code-centric, so I fixed one thing in the boss event, then another problem appeared that wasn’t visible prior. Then when the boss started to work, it was too chaotic even for me so I had to make adjustments to make it manageable for normal players. So bosses take way more time now when there are many different mechanics crossing each other. Even something as simple as an event on the day start instead of end of the day was problematic. This update also includes many little graphical additions, like 2 idle stances for boss support characters and in total 4 short sitting animations for boss characters, some extra (and secret) mechanics and few little adjustments to some left over old icons.

I already shared this story from Friday/Saturday on Discord, but basically I’ve spent about 8 hours (4 in a night and 4 in the morning) trying to find the problem and fix the issue that used to work before, only to find a singular ‘5’ in the code, adding minutes to waiting before ‘something’ happened and not in seconds (when I thought its not starting at all). So this was very fun and definitely didn’t make me mad that I wasted 8 hours looking at code and missing singular ‘5’ (sarcasm).

I also always said I’ll be honest with my supporters as I never would have been here without you, skip if you don’t want to read personal stuff. I’ve shared some of my recent in real life worries with a few of you, including Patreon's latest bans, even if we do follow all of their rules. Other things, like my dog's worsening health (old age, nothing we can do, she lost nearly all hearing, other than that, she is fine and energetic) and some other irl stuff didn’t help with motivation.

I wanted to write this stuff so I wouldn’t have to include it in the release post, tomorrow. So people interested only in horny (like me) would get pure horny.

And yes, right now I’m already at the finish line. I need just to finish coding the results event, choose music for each result and add a couple of quick cgs. This should be ready tomorrow evening.

I’m very sorry for the delay. Trust me when I say I’m more stressed about it than ever, but I know you’ll like this, especially if you carefully read the story.

Next update (after this one) will be event-focused so it will be a way faster implementation than all the new coding behind this boss.
