Awww -- he sure does, Louis! It's funny, a few other Patrons mentioned that this illustration feels very "emotionally loaded"! Guess it's true what they say about artists pouring a lot of their own emotional state and being into their work. I'm pleased you enjoyed him, my friend! XOXOX ๐โค๏ธ๐โค๏ธ

2020-06-05 16:39:30 +0000 UTCFeet!!! Oh, who am I kidding, of course Iโd start at his toes. I donโt have the kind self-control needed to ignore those sexy little things, for that long, ๐. Iโm going to set up a little vacation home down there, give those babies some much needed TLC, and enjoy the scenic view from the pouch... I mean porch, silly me. Iโve heard thereโs a breathtaking view of the โmountainsโ & โvalleysโ that can be seen from there, ๐คฃ๐๐คฃ. You just made my month, you know that right!

2020-06-04 15:38:35 +0000 UTCIs nothing sacred, ๐ซ ?!? Iโm going to have to take a cold shower,๐ฅถ๐ฟ, the next time I see a Care Bear, ๐คฃ๐๐คฃ. Exceptional!!! His pose is naturally provocative, undeniably โstimulatingโ; the colors youโve chosen are bright & cheerful; and yet, the tone has a uniquely somber quality. The piece is enchantingly adorable, masculine, all while centering around so much emotion. If Iโm interpreting everything correctly, youโve managed to capture a LOT of thoughts & feeling in Mr. Grumbly's expression. The hand, resting on his neck, carries an exasperation/bewilderment, while the one at his side is clinched, possibly in frustration; he is frowning, but his lips are also slightly pursed, as if he has something to say, but hasnโt, or wonโt; thereโs the obvious irritation in his gaze, and yet, if we look deeper, that anger gives way to sadness; and because youโve left his left (lol) eyebrow exposed we can see that itโs raised in expectation, as if he is waiting for a reply. Remarkable!!! Youโre able to illustrate each expressionโs subtle nuances, bring life to your characters. So... I think weโve gotta cheer him up, and I think I know just how to do it! How about we start by giving him a tickle?!? The only thing I canโt figure, is if we should start at his powerful hands, and work our way down, or at his toes, working our way up...

2020-06-04 07:25:07 +0000 UTCStorm clouds raining down love, and he's literally blue... ๐ข Annoyed/angry but still loves his love? Been hurt but still has love to share? Grumbly needs cuddles.

2020-06-04 03:36:42 +0000 UTCAwww, thanks so much, Corie! I'm so happy you think so. In fact, I've been thinking it would be fun to update Tenderhard this month with new detail and a new color treatment so that he's more in line with Grumbly! It could be fun -- we'll see! Enjoy the bear in the meantime! XOXO ๐ฅฐ๐
