I'm afraid we're winding it down
Added 2024-08-20 12:24:50 +0000 UTCWe want you to be the first to know about the changes to Cucktales. Firstly, we've come to the difficult decision that we're going to close the Patreon account.
The truth is, with the ongoing issues we're having with Patreon (numerous problems posting content) and the fact we just don't have the time or capacity to add regular content and we cannot, in good faith, ask or expect you to continue to subscribe. We are so sorry and can only apologise that you have joined in good faith only to be let down so quickly.
What we can say is that life is extremely busy at the moment, and what started out as an enjoyable side line, very quickly became all consuming. I hope you can understand that family and everyday life have to come first.
We've spent the last few weeks taking a break from the podcast and it has been so nice to just concentrate on ourselves without the need to record and publish.
We're not sure what this means for the podcast itself. We may well continue, but if we do it will likely be on a 'ad hoc' basis when we have something to chat about. The days of weekly podcasts, I can pretty much confirm, are a thing of the past.
We have suspended both tiers of the Patreon account so others can't join. Please feel free to cancel your subscriptions at your convenience.
Once again, thank you for your support. It really does mean a lot and we are so sorry to bring our Patreon to a close.

Thank you for letting us know, but thank you for more for giving it a shot. I certainly enjoyed the Patreon version of the podcast while it lasted. Perhaps a less frequent podcast in which there are no timeline expectations or deadlines might work better. Whatever happens, it was quite enjoyable and good luck.

I do hope to hear a future podcast at some point but in the mean time take care and make sure you both make the most out of life by having lots and lots of fun
