One Day Proofr. Delay + Announcement(s)

Hello, dear readers! 

The proofreader has to go through Chapter 136 yet and it will come out tomorrow! 

This week I'm only going to post two chapters (today's delayed and tomorrow's) because I'm taking a vacation after working non-stop on Casual Heroing and other stuff for almost two years. 

As most self-employed people, I do feel guilty about leaving the post even temporarily, but gf and I got asked if we wanted to take a couples trip and we decided to accept. I'm leaving on the 5th and coming back on the 13th. I'll start publishing again on the 14th since I'll have not many hours of sleep once back. 

A few words on the journey so far. 

If I can take a vacation, even if it's not super fancy, is because people like reading Casual Heroing and I will never be thankful enough for it. Even though I don't make lots of money, I'm thrifty and I have saved up more than one should normally be able to with an income like mine. It's... much better than one could have hoped for. I do live in Italy, which makes it easier on me: I would probably be on the streets or forced to double up at McDonald if I lived in California. 

I went full-full time around last September, when I stopped deluding myself that I would resume studying for my med degree at any minute. The journey has been lighter on me compared to others and I consider myself fortunate for that. In this span of time I decided to rewrite Casual Heroing because I really, really love Joey's story. It turned out pretty well and we have most of the good-good stuff in front of us. 

I grew as a writer and as a person. It's nice. Very nice. I've found more happiness than I could have ever asked for even if I was freelancing with a medicine degree and making twice as much. Doing what I do now has been a dream since I first picked up my first books, including the Artemis Fowl ones which later gave me a nickname. I do sometimes think of Artemis's story, which makes me smile. I hope down the line some will look back at Joey, or maybe Flaminia, or who knows, and take their names up too. It would fill me up with joy—get the pun?

Anyway, while I don't like making promises on releases, the side stories, and stuff like that, I managed to amp up my productivity and I've been writing around 1.2 chapters per day, which has finally put my back-backlog on where it should have been—that's the 'before Patreon' backlog that allows me to tweak the bad shit after it goes through the beta readers and that should have never dipped below 30 chapters. A special mention to those heroes who have helped me so much! 

I have planned to release 1 chapter a day on RR to hopefully get more readers on board and grow my 'one day I'll buy a house' fund. As many of you know the rules, that means that I will have to write at the very least one chapter per day and release one chapter per day on Patreon as well. 

The promise that I'm shaky to make is that on top of those daily chapters, I might decide to publish two of the necromancer chapters regarding the Casual Heroing universe. As an old poll decided, they won't be part of the Casual Heroing volumes but standalones. Will it actually happen? Will I finally push through my sleep problems and emerge victorious? Hard to say if I can squeeze them out under those conditions, but we'll see. 

I can leave you with a nice title I'm workshopping, though.
