Transition slides

I feel like my transitions in time are sometimes a bit abrupt. I use timestamps, but I’m thinking of inserting slides that say stuff like “Later that Evening…”
I have a small concern that they distract from the flow of the story, but I think they will help keep things clear.
What do you guys think?
