the Blazer and Visi drawing was a collab with a friend, and he doesn't do NSFW, so that Blazer doesn't have a nude version. Also, I know Visi is missing something, but I prefer not to draw that thing, at least for now. iykyk

2025-12-24 02:39:08 +0000 UTCIf you just started out, don't go straight to drawing mannequinized bodies just yet, focus first on the boxes. It might seem simple, but making an accurate box is actually pretty tricky, and it's something that you need to know well in order to construct a human body with. What I recommend you to do, is first focus on your line quality. Make exercises to get your hand/arm used to the movement. You not only need to know the theory, but you need the mind-muscle connection to allow you to put it in paper. Then get to the boxes and try to learn a bit of perspective with it. That will help you to be able to draw the boxes from any angle, something you'll need to be able to draw mannequins. As an extra I would also recommend you to practice cylinders and spheres, since they are also used in the mannequins. And after that, you can finally get to the mannequins. There are many versions of them, you can choose any, it's more of a personal preference thing. This is a lot, a lot of boring homework actually, but I can't stress enough how important it is. If you are going to give it a try, keep it fun. Draw stuff you like, fanart, OCs, anything else, not only lines and boxes. If you need video tutorials check Proko on youtube, and if you want a challenge, actually pretty focused on what you are struggling with, go to drawabox.com .
