Usagi and Mamoru Update! Line art for our Reference!

My dear patrons! Come lend me your eyes!

Behold! Our official reference for the first ever Usagi and Mamoru +18 Resin Figure set!

I'm happy to bring you this official first update in the production, this is the illustration we will base the figure set from, after much deliberation this is the final pose we decided on.

The illustration is being done by Llua blue, She's an amazing artist and very talented at what she does and I'm very excited to finally work with her as we've been talking about collaborating on a project since last year 😆

She sent me the final cleaned up sketch of the illustration we'll use for the model, she's now in the process of coloring it, ShadowCrafts is already working on the 3D model as well now that the line art is done, there are 3 small details that will be polished before the coloring is done but there are minimal and don't affect the pose or expressions.

For now, I'm just super excited to give you guys some eye candy and I'm also happy to say that the illustration will be made into a poster or post card print (still undecided) as a bonus gift for those patrons that pre-order the kit down the road!

The next update will be that of the finished illustration and then we will take it from there with our 3D sculptor for the next updates on the model WIP 😀

While we know Sailor Moon is mainly a teenager through most of the series, I didn't want to make anything that would end up being interpreted as uhm... CP so this version of both Usagi and Mamoru are adults and both will have their respective wedding rings very visible in the figure set to avoid any pearl clutchers losing their minds on this one 😂

Little Mamo is one of the those little details that needs polishing, it will be a tad less "girthy" and more proportioned so please rest assured, it won't be the final result 😅😂 we want character accuracy but still within reasonable expectations of reality 🤣

The other details are Usagi's right nipple, needs to be a tad higher, she will also have arm bracelets for the purposes of hiding the connections down the road on the model.
They will also have red rose petals all over so yeah, in case someone catches all that, know that we're already working in it 😉
