New Japanese Magazine Translation (HeartGold/SoulSilver, 7 pages)

Hey guys, got a lengthy HeartGold/SoulSilver magazine interview translation for you today. The original Japanese interview was published as seven pages in the November 2009 edition of Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream, right around the same time HeartGold & SoulSilver launched in Japan. The primary focus of the interview are Johto’s origins, inspirations, and why certain decisions were made, both in the original Gold & Silver, as well as the remakes. Some of the characters and Pokemon are also discussed, including Ho-oh and Lugia. Other games are touched on as well, mostly DPPt. We're paying you to keep this content alive and evergreen. "had to make space" is not an acceptable excuse. :/

Okay I just made a new Patreon post that includes new links to all that stuff. I also added a new translation video. Unfortunately though I don't have the Alola art scans anymore. I've had to get a new computer since then and I just don't have them anymore. Sorry about that >_<

Dr Lava

I'll sort it out in the next couple days, thanks for letting me know Budo :)

From the ones I've had a look at, these appear to the only ones that are not working: 2. I probably had to make space (there's a 15GB limit) and deleted those folders a long time ago without realizing I had articles linking to them.

Dr Lava

Thanks Budo. Where are the links, and what are they meant to link to? I wasn't aware of that, thanks for letting me know.

Dr Lava

Hey Dr Lava, We can't thank you enough for the tremendous amount of effort you're putting into finding these unlocalized and untranslated materials and sources about Pokémon, it's all worth preserving I say. I've looked over a majority of them and I've seen that some of your posts containing links to google drive (including this one) are completely inaccessible, coming up with error 404. Is this intentional or are the links broken perhaps?

Budo
