Season 5 of Embarrassed Development will officially be the final season, to make way for bigger and better things 😊

Sorta ;) - The series is getting a full reboot into something brand new: Embarrassed University! Same characters, same ENF theme, but now set in 2004, starting with Jess’s first day of college!

Over the years, Embarrassed Development got a little chaotic (hey, we’ve all grown 😅). What began as random stories evolved into something way bigger, and I’ve realized it deserves a proper, clean start! One that’s easier for new fans to jump into without needing to binge the ancient episodes that may or may not even be considered canon lol.

This reboot won’t just remake old episodes! Some familiar moments will inspire new events, but with different twists and outcomes that are sure to surprise you! This will also give me the opportunity to build a stronger foundation for the characters and the world they live in! 😊

Without spoiling too much, here’s the setup for the first episode: Jess Summers, former high school queen bee, takes a few “gap years” that turn into three. After some trouble, her dad sends her to live with her mom and older sister (Carly) in Brookvale, where she’s enrolled at JSCU, the same college her mom once attended and has fond memories of. There she reunites with Mackenzie (yep, the girl she used to bully), meets Hana (you already know how she is), and immediately clashes with Rebecca. Jess is going to quickly realize that this isn’t your average college experience…

I’m so excited (and nervous!) to share this with you. If you’ve trusted me and the JSCU so far, I promise this will be something special ❤️

P.S. Episodes will still release bi-weekly, and there will be no delays, just a fresh new start! Season 5 of Embarrassed Development should end at the end of January, and we’ll pick up with Season 1 of Embarrassed University in early February 😊
