2024-10-24 23:49:09 +0000 UTCHonestly? I think this one is better in every way. And I loved the first one. But everything from acting, to setting, to terror, etc. It’s so elevated and fresh feeling. Even though it’s so scary. A demon that feasts on your traumas and takes utter delight in the causing of your suffering. I hate it for the people but I really like that it can’t be stopped. How could you? This thing is as old as thought and has only ever ‘lost’ a handful of times in all of its existence. I don’t know how else to say it but this is the like of supernatural horror that I like. Even though it’s so fantastical, it stays so grounded in the relatability of so many of these situations and feelings.
