Episode 6 - Progress Report #18

I have only a quick update for you since this week has been one for the trash bin unfortunately 😖. Starting last weekend I had multiple crashes on my render PC which got progressively worse. I spent my whole week trying to fix these issues, but without success.
I eventually decided to buy a new PC altogether, since I planned on upgrading later this year anyway. Hopefully the new PC will arrive early next week, and things will go back to normal soon.
I didn't lose any data except the things I was actively working on when it crashed. But I currently don't have access to all my files (temporarily), so you might not get a preview on Monday. Sorry.
The good thing coming from all of this, is that the new PC is quite a bit stronger than the old one, and should help with some performance issues I had with the bigger scenes. Render times should also go down a bit, so it's not all bad 🙂.

2025-03-23 22:24:25 +0000 UTCIf my old PC was actually working, then maybe. But even then, it's not like it would speed up the process by much. Just to be clear, the render queue runs while I am asleep or at work, so it's not like I'm being slowed down when I sit down to work on the scenes.
