Episode 5 - Progress Report #21

Hey everyone

I've done a lot of work this week! 🥳 I managed to fully implement all music and sound effects. Among this you'll find 19 new songs and a handful of new SFX. I also finished the story recap at the beginning of Episode 5.

So here's the progress statistic you've all been waiting for so long:

• Writing: 100%

• Character models: 100%

• Environments: 100%

• Renders: 100%

📆 Release dates

• Gold, Silver: October 22nd

• Bronze, itch.io: October 29th

• Public release: November 12th

Despite all those pretty numbers I'm not quite done yet. There's a few smaller things to do, mainly some UI stuff and the image conversion to WEBP. Besides that it's all about testing. I've played through the episode many many times over the course of the last couple months, so there shouldn't be any big issues left. But I like to fine-tune stuff until the very last minute. So I'll probably spend the weekend doing that.

This will be the last progress report for a little while. I intend to take a little break from working on EI when the early access starts. Nothing major, probably around two weeks to regain some energy. I'll obviously still be around for questions, discussions and your feedback for the new episode, or any necessary bugfixes. I also have some bonus stuff planned, so that'll come too.

After that comes planning and writing Episode 6. In the early days of a new episode there's usually not much to report. You can expect the progress reports to come back around when the public release drops (November 12th).
