Oh, my goodness, this was exciting to watch with you! Lots of jump scares for you in this one! Thank you so much for indulging me with these films. After you have already reacted to the first three movies, I couldn't resist requesting "The Final Chapter" to celebrate another Friday the 13th this December. Don't worry, the next Friday the 13th isn't until June 2025. LOL You are not the first reactor to be annoyed with Trish. Some of her actions were definitely questionable, but it is all about getting the audience members to yell back at the movie screen! Ah, the 80s!! At the time this film was released, I don't think the writers thought about infusing a spiritual or supernatural element to Jason. Jason does, in fact, die in this movie. Tommy actually kills him. However, later on in the series, it is suggested that Jason's ability to survive does come from a demonic or supernatural force. So, you are not far off-base with that idea, Kemi. Tommy's and Trish's mother was killed, but the filmmakers chose not to show her death. Perhaps they thought that would be too much? I don't know. LOL I'll send you a comedy for January, I promise!
