What an endearing cast, very much enjoyed the film and even Kemi's chatter. Someday I hope we do a Dame Maggie retrospective. I just adore that one, even with a "Southern" accent.

2024-11-23 16:49:37 +0000 UTCOmg I *ADORE* this movie and the book before it! Believe it or not, it reminds me so much of home...which...to me, was the American South. I knew women and families exactly like these...heck...my family has stories not dissimilar to some of these. Debutante attitudes, peanuts and coca-cola, doing *ANYTHING* for some relief in the oppressive heat and humidity during the summer... Beautiful. I'll very much enjoy watching this later on!
