She touched people of all backgrounds and races, and her life ended far too soon. :( My mother was also born in the same town she is from, so I grew up knowing her story + I was a small child when her life was ended and I remember seeing the stories on the news. Rest in peace Selena.

I remember having the cutest puppy love crush in the 4th grade and singing along with "I Could Fall In Love" and "Dreaming of You" whenever they came on and thinking of him π I was 10yo on my first trip to the US southwest (my first time on an airplane!) when she died, and even at my little age I knew the world had lost something special when I saw it on TV in the hotel. I first saw this movie at a sleepover in middle school. My family and I still quote "anything for Selenas." My immediate reaction to seeing this posted was that it was sure to be emotional for you π Can't wait to watch!
