Ada would put her heels on either in desperation of "hiding us" or simply to hurry and attend the door knocks. From our perspective it's pitch black just listening to the booming sounds of them talking over the "shrinking virus". And perhaps use that to hint the next girl that'll "wear us" too. *sadistic giggles" :P
