But when companies like Google and Apple and Microsoft all get back way more than they actually give without actually respecting users that’s when it gets a little bit over the top. As you said Nick, it’s not clear what might come out of it, but it would be good at the end of the day if people just…… Had…… More…… Choice!

2024-08-06 14:19:00 +0000 UTCGoogle: nothing burger.. it’s a preference that can be set with a dropdown. It’s not like IE vs Mozilla where IE was pre-installed and Mozilla was an added cost item. What they need to address is that Google has become the default browser. Have a problem with a web site? One of the first things you’ll hear is “Try it with Google”. How much doesn’t work with Safari that works with Google? I don’t think that’s Alphabet’s problem but it’s real.
