Tax imposed by Patreon to all patrons depending on the country
Added 2020-05-28 18:56:33 +0000 UTCEN: Hi everybody and thank you for supporting Lounge Avenue. Patreon is now obliged by USA, the country where they have their HQ, to impose a "sales tax" depending on the country of residence of each patron. If you are in the EU, we are almost sure you won't have to pay anything on top of your important contribution to our Lounge Avenue.
Because we couldn't find a list of countries and sales taxes for each one, we are not 100% sure, but we've been assured many countries in EU will not tax "General Support", the category you are as supporters.
We will have to just see what happens in June 2020. Thank you for supporting us and we hope you will be at our side after this post. :)

RO: Salutare tuturor si multe multumiri pentru sustinerea proiectului Lounge Avenue. Patreon este obligat de catre tara in care-si desfasoara activitatea, SUA, sa perceapa o taxa intitulata "sales tax", in functie de tara de rezidenta a fiecarui sustinator. Daca te afli in UE, suntem aproape siguri ca nu ti se va impune nici o taxa in plus pentru sustinerea Lounge Avenue.
Pentru ca nu am gasit o lista cu fiecare tara si taxa aferenta, nu suntem 100% siguri ca toata lumea "scapa", dar am fost asigurati ca cele mai multe tari europene nu taxeaza "General Support", categoria din care faceti si voi parte prin contributiile voastre.
Va trebui sa vedem ce se intampla in iunie 2020. Multumim, inca o data, pentru sustinere si speram ca ne veti ramane alaturi si dupa citirea acestei postari. :)
