Roadmap July - December
Added 2024-07-04 15:40:16 +0000 UTCYou the supporters have made it abundantly clear there are far to many loose threads open currently in SU. So we felt it only is appropriate to lay out the release order and overall sections where SU's plot will be held.
Our goal is to have all the events lead up to the finale. So that people can play through the events and get the idea of SU, without playing the Unity version. This has become a necessity due to SU's bloating of size, and general hardship of working within that obsolete environment. So without saying much more here is the road map to Apokolips.
Events will be broken into two ideas, minor and major. Major events will contain the largest plot points, while minor events may offer hints to the finale.
Minor Events

-Yacht
-Halloween (we have a stand alone ready)
-League of Shadows
-Kaznia
-Almerac
-Gotham (content incomplete)
-Medieval
Major Events
-Themyscira (plot finished, content incomplete)
-Apokolips (finale event)
So the road map as follows.
Jul: Gotham stand alone
Aug: Gotham additions (stand alone)
Oct: Halloween Event (stand alone)
Dec: *Unknown
We will also be working on the Temple of Aphrodite content, and this will release on in-between months when completed. Bend or Break 2 will go into active production starting Sept.

Any plans for future girls to be added? Definitely a few more girls out there. Tula, Mera, rocket, spoiler, Cassandra cane, kate kane, halo, Jessica Cruz?

Hopefully a solution happens in the future or some other way like Joiplay is explored but if not then it was good for what was possible on android.

Adding content into this environment is difficult, and could result in potential bricking of game. Versus Ren'py and stand alones which are a dream to implement into, and requires less bug fixing, and absolutely no risk in breaking the game.

2024-07-05 18:47:09 +0000 UTCWe're at a cross roads with SU:Android. Android has a hard limit on app Ram usage. We're at that limit currently. So in order to add more images we have to go and optimize the space to add it. That has drastically increased the time needed to implement anything and is very costly. So with all stand alones being on android, the android version will more than likely remain the way it is.

The file size and development environment around the Unity version has degraded to a point where we lose so much time developing in it, that the content creation side suffers greatly. This means that at some point the stand alone experiences more than likely will not be integrated. Either due to limitations on Unity (features, and functions), or file size for users.

I think it's just down to Huntress, Hawkgirl, the two Wonder Girls, and Wonder Woman if I'm not mistaken. If they don't end up happening this year I'd totally get it though, a lot on the docket!
