New FANBOX Tier and Other Important Changes

Scene Data Archive

I have received a lot of messages asking me to compile all of my scene data into a single location for easy access. As such, I have created a new mega folder called "NP's SD Archive", accessible to those who subscribe to the new Fanbox tier "Patronus"

Those who subscribe to "Patronus" tier will be given access to "NP's SD archive" and all my old scene data.

Besides that, I am also planning to create some exclusive content for this tier, such as remakes of my old animations with added audio and voices.

New Scene Data and Videos WILL STILL BE FREE, but for a limited time (2 weeks) only

As usual, I will distribute new videos and scene data for FANBOX supporters ("Supporter" and above) first. One week later, I will release the same video and SD for free on pixiv.

However, from today onwards, two weeks after the public release of each animation, I will move the scene data to "NP's SD Archive". The video will not be moved and will remain freely accessible.

Therefore, for those who do not wish to pay for my scene data, please try to download the scene data within two weeks of each new release!

Why these changes? I hate them!

Believe me, I hate the idea of paywalling my stuff as much as you do. However, I'm sure that many of you have also noticed that I have been uploading a lot less lately. Long story short, my laptop was stolen in December last year, which I depended on to make Koikatsu animations. Since then, I had no choice but to use an old computer in my parents' house to run Koikatsu. I only visit my parents' house once a week, and for obvious reasons, I can only make animations at night when they are asleep. To make things worse, the PC is slow and KK crashes very often when I'm using it.

I have been saving money for a new laptop, but I was forced to use up those savings for a family emergency last month. I also had no choice but to upgrade my mega subscription (which I use to share SD and videos) to increase storage space. Not to mention buying paywalled KK cards for better-looking videos.

The above changes are not great, but they are the best way I could think of to financially support this hobby while still making most of my work freely accessible. I apologize to those who are offended, and continue to offer my deepest thanks to all those who continue to support me despite everything.

为什么要做这些改变？

我相信你们很多人也注意到了，我最近上传的内容少了很多。长话短说，去年 12 月，我的笔记本电脑被偷了，而我制作 Koikatsu 动画全靠它。从那以后，我别无选择，只能用父母家的一台旧电脑来运行 “Koikatsu”。我每周只去父母家一次，由于显而易见的原因，我只能在晚上他们睡觉时制作动画。更糟的是，电脑运行速度很慢，我使用 KK 时经常死机。

我一直在攒钱买一台新的笔记本电脑，但上月家里出了点急事，我不得不花光了这些积蓄。我也被逼升级我的 mega 订阅（我用它来共享 SD 和视频）以增加存储空间。够买高品质的KK卡也需要钱。总而言之，制作动画无论在金钱或时间上的费用都陆续增加了。
