Hey guys, sorry for not being active these past couple of days...
Added 2024-11-08 02:07:55 +0000 UTCI guess a lot of us are kind of feeling down due to recent events that may or may not have extreme repercussions in the future.
It has really affected me emotionally, despite not being someone living in the US or planning to live there any time soon. I can see the fear and uncertainty on the posts I see on Twitter. Women and Queer people planning a way to escape, others planning a way to stay alive for longer. Others sharing/seeking questionable methods to continue treatment. It's truly a depressing sight...
Hopefully it will be another 4 year of lots of talk but almost nothing gets done.
Hope you all are fine. You are loved, I care about you, stay safe and never stop fighting... America has a lot of flaws... but Americans never stop fighting. Right now you need to come together, more division is something you don't need right now, build communities and protect everyone who requires it.
It's ok to be sad, it's ok to cry... but the best option is always to keep moving forward, stop to collect yourself, but never go back. There's always a tomorrow...

The only reason he couldn't do what he wanted the first time was because the people around him still had common sense... He is also unpredictable, but with a declining mental state it's likely to be manipulated even more by others. If the dems really want to fight they will make it harder for him to implement stuff or use it against him. Also be better at communicating their message to others and stop trying to be respectful to everyone. They have to be able to communicate their message to the uneducated. Get closer to people. Don't talk about how the economy is much better with you, when there is a lot of people that haven't seen those results... you gotta talk to them and how to fix it. Also they have to do a better job on the media, they have to go where the people they want to convince is... Kamala could have gone to Joe Rogan too... dems could accept an interview with online independent news... Kamala going to fox news wasn't enough... Dems need to get tougher, more aggressive and better at comunicating, stop trying to please everyone... treat criminals like criminals, stop trying to educate people by treating them like they are stupid... yeah, they are stupid, but you don't gain anything by pointing that out and paint yourself as more moral and smarter than them...

2024-11-08 18:51:34 +0000 UTCTy so much for this, I literally hate that people are thinking that we’re overreacting or saying that if Trump wanted to do all these terrible things he would’ve done it his first term and it just shows they’re poorly educated and lack empathy. I’ve literally been panicking thinking about my future, the women in my family I love and my nephew’s future as well in this country. Is soooooo disheartening seeing this country regressing in real time and I don’t just have the means to up and leave yk. I just don’t know what to do or how to feel 😓
