I just noticed you had the plants labeled in the second frame. I was “oxalis? No way!” Sure enough! I guess I was too busy checking out the guys to notice before.

And the plants don't look subpar to me, they look GREAT! Especially that Monstera - and I would know since I work part-time in a floral department and have to drench those things every week.

It’s an interesting sort of excitement to see my favorite hobby mixed into a hot and steamy scene. That caladium is a stand out for sure! As always, the attention to detail in all the elements of your paintings are top tier
