Yet again, I was so distracted while doing it that ended spending more time than usual an finished it faster, the good thing is, this time you can see the process of drawing the background as I managed to do it in one go without needing another file for post efects. I personally think this in one of my best works yet.
今回もまた、やっているうちに気が散ってしまい、結局いつもより時間をかけて早く仕上げてしまった。良い点は、今回は背景を描くプロセス全体を視覚化できることだ。個人的には、今までで最高の作品のひとつだと思う。
I trying to follow the same colors from the last one, I liked the soft result of it. I think this one has great potential.
ソフトな仕上がりが気に入ったので、前作と同じ色を踏襲しようとしている。この作品には大きな可能性があると思う。
For this one I wanted to try to make a more delicate lineart and a smug expression, I tried to do a better job on the lineart this time, give more volume in certain areas, also, I tried to give a fur like texture to the jacket.
今回の作品では、より繊細な線画とドヤ顔を作ってみたかったので、線画をよりうまく、部分的にボリュームを持たせ、またジャケットに毛皮のような質感を出してみた。
For the finished piece I added a more natural light overlay and edited the neck, Even thou it was more anatomically acurate, I think now it looks smoother and better? maybe?
完成した作品には、より自然な光のオーバーレイを加え、首の筋肉を編集した。以前はもっと解剖学的に正確だったけれど、今はよりスムーズでよく見えると思う。どう思う？
Even with the mistakes I think she looks nice in this art. I think I should do more bikini art... even though I personally prefer swinsuits in the style of 05, 20 and 32, under the sailor uniform.
間違いがあっても、このアートでは彼女は素敵だと思う。今後、もっとビキニのアートを描くかもしれない。でも個人的には05、20、32のようなスインスーツが好きだ。
I had Kazekura Moe expression in mind when drawing shondo face this time, I ended up messing a bit the proportions, tried to fix but... I still think the head looks kinda weird...
今回は風倉モエの表情を意識してションド顔を描いたのですが、ちょっとプロポーションが崩れてしまいました。修正しようとしたんだけど......やっぱり頭がちょっと変に見えるかな......。
I liked drawing wet clothes, So I wanted to do that again somehow, I see this one as a continuation from 058.
Also, I managed to get my hands on a Dumny 13, they’re pretty cheap compared to the Bandai ones, so I was always interested in seeing how they would compare, I’m pretty happy with the joints and natural poses it makes, I see myself using it way more than the other one in the future, also…. I need a 20cm or so one to pair with those two for specific poses related to certain specific kinds of works…. Would make the job way easier XD
濡れた服を描くという体験が好きだったので、どうにかしてまたやりたかったんだ。これは058からの続きだと思っている。
また、Dumny 13を手に入れることができたんだ。他のものに比べてかなり安いから、どう比べられるかずっと興味があったんだ。
関節の動きと自然なポーズに満足しているよ。この2つと組み合わせて、特定の作品に関連した特定のポーズをとるために、20cmくらいのものが必要なんだ......。そうすれば、もっと仕事が楽になるのに。
I was so focused on this work, that... I kinda finished it early than I expected. The trasparency effect turned out really nice, and did you notice? this is the same kind of color and shading I used for the comic cover. I like how soft it looks. Maybe I try more of those 3 layer style drawings in the future. As a little extra, I used the extra time to also color Shadow mama from the comic extras, I hope everyone enjoys it too.
この仕事に集中しすぎて...。思ったより早く完成してしまった。トラスパレンシー効果は本当にいい感じに仕上がったよ。これはコミックの表紙に使ったのと同じような色と濃淡なんだけど、気づいた？このソフトな感じが好きなんだ。今後、このような3レイヤースタイルの絵をもっと描いてみようかな。
I wanted to do a beach themed drawing, but I also wanted to draw panties, So why not panties in beach? You suddenly see a beautiful beach, but you forgot your swinsuit, would you let it deter you? No! That's the vibe I'm going for, this also has the added bonus of allowing for wet transparency, something not supossed to happen in a swinsuit.

After that rought last weeks, and two entire weeks of normal drawings, I really really wanted to draw panties again, it's part of my being, without panties I become sad, So for this one, I decided to do a 3 in 1. to compensate for the past weeks.
先週の激動の後、丸2週間は普通の絵を描いていたので、どうしてもまたパンティを描きたかったんだ。パンティを描かないと悲しくなる。だから今回は、この2週間を補うために3 in 1を描くことにした。
It’s finally done! (In reality there are some small things to adjust and finish, but I was able to focus on it and finish most of it.)
Above are some previews of the cover page and screen tone work, the final product will have a cover + 6 story pages and an extra illustration as a bonus. It took more or less 10-12h of work per page, putting everything together I believe it has 70-80ish hours of work put into it. I hope everyone likes the end result when I post it later this week!
Oh, yes, before I forget, was having trouble thinking about a title since “Shadow’s House” is the name for a already existing series, So I decided to go with the light novel style looooooooong naming scheme, and yes, it’s a isekai now like everything else XD

そうそう、忘れる前に言っておくけど、「影の家」はすでにあるシリーズの名前だから、タイトルを考えるのに苦労したんだ。だから、ライトノベル風の長いネーミングにすることにしたんだ。
Since I managed to advance a lot on the comic, I will use this week to dedicate solely to it, So I can deliver it before the end of the month, 20ish days for 6 B/W pages + 1 color cover page is a new record for me. The power of Shondo.
Drawing Shadowmama was really fun, maybe I draw more of her in the future, for now I hope everyone likes my attempt at drawing her. And remember, it's all grape juice, [you] was not hurt in the process.

The composition I managed to create in this drawing is something I like a lot from the dinamic of the movement, from the expression on shondo face that says "hehe, too bad for you, you have not behaved, now you will have to deal with my mother!" and the cold, souless, yandere like expression on shadow mama after you messed with Shondo.
Remember, it's all grape juice.
この構図はとても気に入っている。ディナミックなポーズ、そして「へへへ、残念だったね、お行儀が悪かったね、今度は私の母を相手にしなくちゃいけないよ」と言わんばかりの表情。また、あなたが悪い人に手を出した後の、シャドウ・ママの冷たく、魂のない、ヤンデレのような表情も。
すべてグレープジュースです。
And the last two pages are done, now the story is complete and I can proceed to add the screen tones and the sound effects, perhaps I can even finish it by the end of the month, it will depend on the color cover page as it will demand a little bit more of time. Slso, Still thinking about what the title should be.
About those two new last pages, I really like the contrast between the girl toys and boy toys on the panel, the cabin took the longest to draw, originally I was going to use a light switch instead of a candle, but got stuck imagining the logistics of how that would work on a log cabin relative to the electric wires, so I decided to use the candle…
そして最後の2ページが終わった。これでストーリーは完成し、スクリーントーンやサウンドエフェクトを加えることができる。あと、タイトルをどうするかまだ考え中。
新しい最後の2ページについては、女の子のおもちゃと男の子のおもちゃのコマのコントラストがとても気に入っています。山小屋は描くのに一番時間がかかりました。もともとはろうそくの代わりに電気のスイッチを使おうと思っていたのですが、ログハウスの電線との関係でどのように機能するのか、ロジスティクスを想像して行き詰まってしまい、ろうそくを使うことにしました...。
For reasons beyond my control, and to make everything acurate and following cloth physics, I had to at least make the pantsu creases and folds on the tight material of the clothing, no other reaons than pure respect to physics, I swear!
私の手に負えない理由で、すべてを正確に、布の物理学に従ったものにするために、少なくともパンティーのしわやひだを服のタイトな素材につけなければならなかった。物理学に対する純粋な敬意以外の理由はない。本当だよ！
Shadow mama??? I wanted to draw her, but considering how I always draw Shondo in underwear... this time I Wanted to draw Shadowmama in a way that you can respectfully perceive her and think "wow! she is cool!" So... this came to mind, that's what happens when Shondo asks you to be nise and you don't.

The lineart for two more pages is done, now I need to finish the last two pages. Page 3 or the first one in this post is the one who took the longest to finish so far as it has a lot of details. I want to finish the lineart by next week if possible, so I can start the screen tone process and then the cover page. It’s a very complicated job but it’s really fun to make. Also I think that I managed to properly convey the story so far without text, I wanted from the start to do a speechless comic, something like the old Life of Maid touhou comic, do you guys think it’s flowing nicely and being understandable even without the text?
あと2ページ分の線画が完成したので、最後の2ページを仕上げなければならない。ページ目、つまりこの記事の最初のページが、ディテールがたくさんあるので、今のところ仕上げるのに一番時間がかかっている。できれば来週までにリニアートを仕上げて、スクリーントーンの工程に入りたい。とても複雑な作業だけど、作っていてとても楽しいよ。また、今のところ、テキストなしでストーリーをきちんと伝えることができたと思う。最初から、昔のメイドライフの東方同人のような、しゃべらないマンガをやりたかったんだけど、テキストなしでもうまく流れて、理解できると思う？
The background uses default materials from clip studio, but by doing some filters and magic, the background looks kinda cool! I also have something very nice planned for the next drawing, I hope everyone likes it.

In contrast to the last one, this one uses very light and soft shading, it became a very soft and cool looking piece, the slight pantsu peek whith the rest of it partially visible trough the slight trasnparent shirt is also something that I like a lot.
前作とは対照的に、この作品はとても軽くソフトなシェーディングを使っていて、とてもソフトでクールな印象の作品になった。シャツの下から覗くパンティもとても気に入っている。
Shondo Hip-hop edition! I wanted to make a Cool Shondo, this is the oversized shirt one I promised long ago too. Expect some degree of trasparency in the final piece.

As I mentioned on a previous post, this is the reason for having to postpone the Doujin for a while, but this one is a very special case, as it was requested by a very special cat and bunny hybrid creature, and I’m very happy to be working on it. The first image shows the really rough draft of the idea, sorry for the mess of the sketch, but that’s how I generally plan things, normally it tends to work XD
It’s a very wholesome story about Shondo and [you], 6 pages in total + cover page, I’m aproaching it differently this time, since page count is already defined, I will be doing the lineart first then proceed to ink everything later. Lineart is kinda fast to do, so I already managed to make those two pages, quite a improvement from the draft, right? I want to use a 90s style manga aesthetic to make something very cozy and warm felling.
前の記事で書いたように、この作品が同人をしばらく延期しなければならない理由なんだけど、この作品はとても特別なケースで、とても特別な猫とうさぎのハイブリッド生物からの依頼だったから、それに取り組めることをとても嬉しく思っているんだ。最初の画像はアイデアの本当にラフな草案です。スケッチがめちゃくちゃで申し訳ないのですが、これが私の一般的な計画方法で、普通はうまくいく傾向がありますXD。
彼女と[あなた]のとても健全な物語で、全部で6ページ＋表紙ページです。ページ数がすでに決まっているので、今回は違うアプローチで、まず線画を描いて、後で全部にインクを塗るつもりです。リニアートはちょっと早くできるので、すでにその2ページを作ることができ、下書きからかなり改善されたでしょ？90年代風の漫画の美学を使って、とても居心地のいい、暖かい感じのものを作りたい。
The floor tiles on the final piece, looks kinda neat, the power of low resolution! the light and anbiance in this one I like a lot!
最終的な作品の床のタイルは、ちょっときれいに見える。低解像度の威力だ！この作品の光と雰囲気はとても気に入っている！
I wanted to go with a more natural painting style for this one, it's preeeeeetty hard to do things like this, The cardboard looks kinda weird, but I like the skin tone.
この作品では、より自然なペインティングスタイルにしたかったんだ。ダンボールはちょっと変な感じだけど、肌の色は気に入っている。
I think the hardest part to properly convey in the drawing would be the forbiden cheetos pellets, shading each one of them will be pain.
Also, I have some news, I will have to postpone for a month or two the Doujin project, but it's for a good reason, I got a really big project that I will have to finish first, but the knowledge obtained in it will also help on the doujin, even if they are on extremelly oposite sides of the spectrum.
図面できちんと伝えるのが一番難しいのは、発泡スチロールのペレットだと思う。ひとつひとつに陰影をつけるのは大変です。
また、お知らせがあります。同人プロジェクトを1、2ヶ月延期しなければならないのですが、それには理由があります。先に終わらせなければならない大きなプロジェクトがあるんだけど、そこで得た知識は同人にも役立つだろう。

I'm happy, it looks gorgeous, Shondo looks really nice with a tan, for the final version, I think I will probably try to add a more tanned version too.
