Chapter 91 Just To Learn Secret Techniques?

Under the moonlit night,

A pair of snake-like eyes emerged from the darkness.

Orochimaru’s expression remained calm—no one could tell what he was truly thinking.

Karin was surrounded by a group of Sound Ninja with nowhere left to hide.

Orochimaru’s hoarse voice broke the silence. “Uzumaki Karin, I saved you. Why did you betray me?”

Karin didn’t hesitate. She answered confidently, “Because you wanted to kill me! It’s that simple!”

At this point, Karin had already accepted her fate.

She couldn’t escape, and her outcome seemed inevitable.
So rather than plead, she decided to speak her mind—it made her feel a little better.

Orochimaru chuckled. “It’s just an experiment.”

“But!” Karin suddenly became agitated. “I’ve seen your so-called ‘experiments’—they aren’t even human anymore!”

If she lost her humanity, Karin knew she’d have no face left to show anyone.

Orochimaru shook his head slightly, laughing at her for being so attached to her human form.

Karin, of course, couldn’t understand.

Without wasting another word, Orochimaru turned to his subordinates. “Capture her. Bring her back to the lab.”

The moment his command fell, the Sound Ninja prepared to act—

Until a calm voice came from above.

“Hey there.”

“Orochimaru, could you please stop attacking her?”

“She’s my friend.”

The Sound Ninja froze in place.

Orochimaru’s eyes narrowed as he looked up. A faint shadow stood above them.

There, floating in the air, was Naruto.

He was wearing pajamas, hands in his pockets, and looked down at Orochimaru with calm, steady eyes.

He didn’t exude killing intent—but Orochimaru still felt a chill run down his spine.

The Sound Ninja scoffed when they saw a young blond boy.

“Who’s this brat? How dare you talk to Lord Orochimaru like that!”

“That’s right! If you’re so bold, come down here and I’ll smash your head in!”

The group shouted angrily, ready to attack the moment Orochimaru gave the word.

But Orochimaru held them back. His face twitched slightly, and he spoke in as calm a tone as possible.

“Uzumaki Naruto…”

The Nine-Tails Jinchūriki who left Konoha—the one who defeated four members of the Akatsuki alone.

Among those Naruto defeated was Uchiha Itachi, who could kill Orochimaru in an instant…
and Kisame, whose strength was monstrous.

Naruto’s current power had far surpassed Orochimaru’s expectations.

Orochimaru forced a smile. “Let’s go,” he ordered his men quietly.

“We can’t afford to provoke this one… not yet.”

When Naruto fought Uchiha Itachi and Kisame, Orochimaru had received the news almost immediately.

After all, Itachi’s body had once been his own vessel—Orochimaru knew exactly how terrifying that strength was.

Itachi alone was near the level of a super Kage.

And yet, Itachi, Kisame, and two other Akatsuki members together had still been defeated—chased across the world by Naruto.

Orochimaru couldn’t even imagine how strong he had become.

So he could only choose to back down—for now.

Orochimaru and his subordinates quickly retreated into the night, leaving only Naruto and Karin behind.

Karin’s body suddenly felt weak.

After running so far and enduring so much, her nerves finally relaxed.

Now that she’d been rescued by Naruto, relief washed over her—then darkness.

Her vision blurred as she fainted.

Naruto hurriedly caught her and carried her back to the hotel to rest.

Early morning.

A bird chirped softly by the window.

Karin opened her eyes and stared at the white ceiling.

The faint sound of street vendors echoed from outside.

Everything felt so peaceful.

“I’m…” Karin blinked, remembering the events of last night. A flicker of surprise filled her eyes.

So this is what peace feels like?

For the first time in years, she was free—no one controlling her, no one hunting her.

But then, her heart tightened again.

She quickly activated Kagura’s Mind Eye, searching for Naruto’s chakra.

He was nearby—in the next room.

Karin got up, washed quickly, and walked over.

When she opened the door, she saw that familiar blond hair.

Naruto sat cross-legged at a low table, a pink-covered book in one hand and breakfast in the other.

Karin’s sudden entrance caught his attention.

Seeing her standing there awkwardly, Naruto smiled. “I bought breakfast for you. Let’s eat together.”

Karin’s red eyes softened as she stared at him.

She didn’t know why, but whenever she was near Naruto, the constant sense of danger that haunted her simply vanished.

Maybe it was because he was strong.
Or maybe… it was something else.

Either way, being beside him made her feel safe.

“Yeah,” Karin nodded softly and sat across from him.

Naruto quietly put away Jiraiya’s book—it wasn’t something he wanted to read in front of a girl anyway.

He had to admit, though—Jiraiya’s writing was good.
Just… too short and updated far too slowly.

The two ate in silence, enjoying a rare moment of calm.

After finishing, Naruto asked directly, “Karin, have you awakened any of the Uzumaki clan’s secret techniques?”

So far, the only Uzumaki technique Naruto knew was the Adamantine Sealing Chains.

He hadn’t yet learned Kagura’s Mind Eye, though he knew it wasn’t an organ-based ability like the Sharingan.

Meaning that even if he hadn’t awakened it naturally, he could still learn it through practice—with Karin’s guidance.

Karin didn’t hide anything. She nodded. “Yes. It’s a secret technique that allows me to sense chakra across great distances.”

“Please, Naruto, let me stay with you. I can help you replenish chakra—and act as your eyes.”

“And I can cook, clean… and if you don’t mind, I can also… w-warm…”

Her voice trailed off as her face turned crimson.

She just wanted to prove her worth.

But Naruto’s next words cooled her hopes instantly.

“I want to learn that secret technique.”

Learn… the secret technique?

In that moment, Karin realized the reason Naruto had saved her.

He hadn’t done it just out of kindness—he wanted to learn Kagura’s Mind Eye.

It was that ability that had helped her escape Orochimaru.

Her heart sank with disappointment.

But since it was Naruto’s request, she couldn’t refuse.

“…Okay,” she whispered softly. “But if you haven’t awakened it naturally, it’ll be very difficult to learn.”

Chapter 158 The Stunned Thor

In a quiet town in New Mexico, Lucy — a young, beautiful woman — stared curiously at the muscular man sitting across from her, devouring a burger. His chiseled abs and broad chest left her speechless.

“You’re saying… you’re Thor? The God of Thunder? From Asgard?”

Beside her, Jane Foster frowned, clearly skeptical of the man’s claim.

It had been about an hour since she and her team had rescued this strange man who had literally fallen from the sky just outside of town.

Within that time, Jane and her colleagues had learned a few things: this man claimed to be Thor Odinson, the eldest son of Odin — the King of Asgard.

“Thor Odinson…” said Dr. Erik Selvig, the astrophysicist seated beside them. “According to Norse mythology, Thor is indeed the son of Odin. Jane, maybe… maybe what he’s saying isn’t impossible.”

Dr. Selvig had spent his life studying the relationship between Norse mythology and cosmic phenomena. Now, faced with a living embodiment of myth, part of him hoped it was true.

“Another drink! The ale of Midgard is weak,” Thor declared loudly, grinning as he raised his glass, “but it has… an interesting flavor!”

Though stripped of his divine power by Odin, Thor still possessed the stamina of a warrior — and a fondness for strong drink.

He downed the vodka in one gulp, then tossed the glass to the floor with a loud crash!

The sound made every diner in the restaurant turn to stare. Thor ignored them completely, patting the table with both hands. “More! Bring me more of your finest spirits!”

“Hey, hey! Buddy!” Dr. Selvig scolded, his brow furrowed. “Whether you’re Thor or not, maybe try blending in a little, huh?”

He shot Jane a look, silently urging her to smooth things over with the restaurant owner.

“What? You people of Midgard don’t smash your glasses after drinking?” Thor asked, genuinely confused.

Jane sighed. “No, we don’t.”

Still, Thor remembered Odin’s lesson about humility — “Do as the mortals do.” Stripped of his godhood, Thor decided he should experience mortal life properly.

But before he could finish his meal, several customers nearby began whispering about a strange hammer that had fallen from the sky.

At once, Thor’s eyes lit up. The hammer they spoke of could only be one thing — Mjolnir.

After eating, he quickly convinced Jane, Selvig, and Lucy to take him to the crash site.

When they arrived, however, they found the entire area cordoned off by government agents. A massive containment perimeter surrounded the crater. The site had been taken over by S.H.I.E.L.D.

“Hey, Thor,” Jane said, frowning. “This whole area’s locked down by the government. There’s no way we’re getting through.”

Thor’s expression darkened, but before Jane could continue, a team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents emerged from the restricted zone. The person leading them made Jane freeze.

Her jaw dropped. “Oh my God… that’s Captain America—Steve Rogers?!”

Lucy gasped, eyes wide with disbelief. Even Dr. Selvig, though calmer, was visibly stunned.

“Are you the leader here?” Thor asked bluntly, stepping toward Steve Rogers without hesitation.

Completely unaware of who the legendary super-soldier was, Thor clapped a hand on Steve’s shoulder. “I am Thor Odinson of Asgard, first son of Odin, King of the Gods!”

He spoke with his usual pride, as if addressing a royal court.

Steve raised an eyebrow. “Thor, huh? You talk just like Tony Stark — and that’s not a compliment.”

With a faint shake of his head, Rogers traced a glowing circle with his hand. A whip of golden energy materialized and wrapped tightly around Thor.

“What the—?! Is that… magic?!” Jane blurted out, eyes wide.

Lucy and Selvig were equally shocked. The world knew Captain America as a hero, a soldier, a symbol — but not as a sorcerer.

“Agent Coulson,” Steve called out over his shoulder, “take Jane Foster and the others. Keep them safe.”

“Yes, sir,” Phil Coulson replied immediately, motioning for the team to follow him.

Meanwhile, Rogers lifted the bound Thor effortlessly, carrying him toward the center of the restricted area.

“I know why you’re here, Thor,” Rogers said evenly. “But I’m afraid this time… you’re not going to like the outcome.”

At the center of the crater lay a hammer — heavy, silent, radiating power.

“Mjolnir,” Thor breathed, eyes bright with hope.

The magical restraints binding him vanished, and Thor strode forward eagerly. “Father, I’ll prove myself! You’ll see your son is no failure!”

He gripped Mjolnir’s handle with both hands, muscles tensing. But no matter how hard he pulled, the hammer refused to budge.

Shock and disbelief spread across Thor’s face. “Father… you’ve truly stripped me of my worthiness…”

He clenched his fists, trembling, then threw his head back and roared toward the sky in anguish.

“Calm down, Thor,” Steve said gently, walking up behind him. “Right now, you’re not worthy to lift Mjolnir.”

He placed a reassuring hand on Thor’s shoulder — and with a simple spell, lulled the furious god to sleep.

“Hey! You jerk!” Jane shouted, rushing forward. “Don’t touch his hammer!”

Chapter 157: Infinity Gauntlet From The Future

Asgard — the core of Odin’s treasure vault stood empty.

Suspended silently in midair was a massive golden metal glove.

Surrounding it was a powerful particle-separation force field.

Any creature that attempted to reach into it would have their arm instantly severed by the field.

Allens stood before Odin’s treasure vault, a cold smile playing on his lips as he gazed at the Infinity Gauntlet. He had no intention of testing the deadly force field before him.

“J.A.R.V.I.S., activate the Nano Core Research Laboratory.”

At his command, the diamond-shaped nano core embedded in his chest glowed brightly. Countless nanoparticles floated around his body, rapidly assembling into metallic instruments.

Clank, clank, clank.

Within moments, a silver-white experimental table materialized before him — a compact, portable nano-lab filled with advanced technological equipment.

This was the core module of Allens’ nano-research design. When activated, the nanoparticles multiplied rapidly, creating a temporary lab wherever he needed it.

Raising his right hand, Allens projected a 3D holographic interface in his palm. He tossed it onto the table, and his hands moved like lightning, operating the equipment with uncanny precision.

Powered by his hyper-intelligence — a mind a thousand times sharper than an ordinary human’s — it took Allens less than thirty seconds to devise dozens of ways to neutralize the force field protecting the Infinity Gauntlet.

Now, he was building a simple jamming device.

Soon, a small, spider-like robot with eight mechanical legs emerged from his hand. The spider crawled forward, its legs piercing the energy field.

Zzzzt...

A faint white light flickered from the device, creating a circular gap in the barrier — just wide enough for the Infinity Gauntlet to pass through.

“Now… the Infinity Gauntlet is mine.”

A cold smile curved Allens’ lips as he reached into the gap and grasped the Gauntlet.

“Sir, the data indicates that the Infinity Gauntlet’s proportions do not match your arm,” J.A.R.V.I.S. reminded him, its calm voice echoing through the lab.

“J.A.R.V.I.S., initiate the Nano-Assimilation Integration Protocol.”

Allens’ tone remained steady. The nano core on his chest pulsed with blinding light as a surge of nanoparticles flowed like a tide, enveloping the massive Infinity Gauntlet.

Gradually, the golden surface shimmered with silver-white streaks as it shrank and reshaped itself — until it resembled the mechanical version Tony Stark forged in Avengers: Endgame.

Clank.

Allens raised his right arm. The Gauntlet automatically unfolded, its metal segments locking seamlessly into place around his forearm.

Hum...

The moment the Gauntlet fused completely with his arm, a wave of energy radiated outward — powerful enough to alert Odin, high within the royal palace.

“Not good. Someone has trespassed into the vault,” Odin’s expression hardened.

Divine power surged violently around him as he raised the Eternal Spear. In a flash of golden light, the God King appeared within his treasure vault.

Odin surveyed the room carefully, eyes narrowing as he approached the center where the Infinity Gauntlet hovered.

“What is this? A resonance from the Infinity Gauntlet of the future? Has the timeline shifted?”

His gaze swept across the vault — everything appeared untouched. The Gauntlet he had sealed away still rested in its place.

Odin frowned deeply, then vanished once more in a swirl of light.

As soon as he disappeared, a flicker of energy illuminated a dark corner — and Allens reappeared.

“Heh… Loki’s magic really is useful,” he murmured, eyes gleaming.

The Infinity Gauntlet was now fully integrated into his nano armor. Once he gathered all six Infinity Stones, Allens would ascend beyond the level of even the All-Father himself.

Meanwhile, Thor — recently banished from Asgard — remained unaware of these events.

At that moment, a beam of rainbow light deposited him in a small town in New Mexico. Stripped of his divine power, Thor was now weaker than an ordinary human.

There, he met Jane Foster, an astrophysicist researching dimensional energy, along with Dr. Erik Selvig and his assistant, Darcy Lewis.

At the same time, the Avengers, led by Captain America, had arrived in the same town. Looking around at the peaceful streets, Steve Rogers let out a quiet sigh.

Having seen the future, Rogers knew what was coming — Loki’s arrival, the Destroyer’s rampage… and the destruction that would soon follow.

“Captain Rogers, we’ve searched everywhere but still haven’t found any trace of Mjolnir,” reported Agent Phil Coulson, frowning slightly.

Despite Steve’s warnings and detailed reports, there had been no sign of the hammer.

BOOM!

Suddenly, thunder crashed in the northwest outskirts. A blinding bolt of lightning struck a nearby farm, and moments later, a massive hammer plummeted from the heavens, smashing into the earth and carving out a deep crater.

“Sir! We’ve just received a report — someone claims a hammer fell from the sky!” an agent in a black suit and sunglasses exclaimed.

Steve Rogers glanced toward the horizon and smiled faintly. “Come on, Coulson. Let’s go meet the God of Thunder.”

Before Coulson could respond, Rogers drew a circle in the air using his Sling Ring, opening a glowing portal — its other end leading directly to the farm.

“Yes, sir.”

Coulson nodded, though the astonishment on his face was unmistakable. Between Captain America wielding magic and the imminent arrival of Thor, even S.H.I.E.L.D.’s most seasoned agents couldn’t hide their disbelief.

She clutched the flag tightly, her heart sinking in disappointment and anxiety.

But just when she thought it was all over—a miracle happened!

Robert reacted instantly, leaping up and heading the ball with incredible reflexes!

The shot left the goalkeeper completely helpless.

“It’s in!” The crowd erupted, standing and cheering uncontrollably.

Coach Klopp leapt up from the bench, clenching his fists tightly. “Yes! Come on!” he muttered under his breath, celebrating the victory in his own restrained way.

Emily’s worries vanished in an instant.

Her admiration and trust in Coach Klopp reached their peak.

She knew that under the leadership of such an exceptional coach, the team would continue to achieve endless glory and victories.

As the final minutes ticked away, the referee blew the whistle to signal the end of the match.

All the players gathered to celebrate their triumph. Su Luo led the charge, driving the team forward with fierce energy inside the Golden Storm Stadium.

He and Barrios formed a devastating attacking duo, relentlessly threatening the opponent’s goal again and again.

Barrios displayed his fighting spirit and strength, constantly causing chaos among the opposing defenders.

His quick feet and explosive speed made him nearly impossible to contain.

Su Luo was brimming with confidence and determination. With his sharp vision and brilliant technique, he continuously created chances for his teammates.

Every touch of the ball carried destructive intent, leaving the opposition trembling.

In the stands, Emily nervously gripped her scarf, her eyes locked on the pitch.

Though her heart was pounding with unease, she still shouted words of encouragement for Su Luo.

The game reached its climax—both sides clashed fiercely, attacking and countering with breathtaking intensity.

Every pass, every interception, every shot tugged at the hearts of the fans.

Barrios and Su Luo’s seamless cooperation constantly created dangerous chances.

Their chemistry shone like gold, mesmerizing everyone watching.

“Su Luo, pass it to me!” Barrios shouted, signaling where he wanted the ball.

He was perfectly positioned, ready for Su Luo’s precise assist.

Catching sight of Barrios’ movement, Su Luo reacted immediately and sent a clean, accurate pass straight to his feet.

Barrios trapped the ball smoothly and unleashed a powerful, confident strike.

The ball rocketed toward the goal, tension surging through the stadium.

Everyone held their breath, waiting for the outcome.

But the opposing goalkeeper made a stunning save!

He flung himself across the goalmouth, his fingertips just managing to deflect the shot. Though denied, the intensity of the attack only fueled the crowd’s excitement.

Thunderous applause erupted throughout the Golden Storm Stadium. The fans were electrified by the thrilling exchange.

Dortmund supporters jumped up, chanting the names of Su Luo and Barrios in unison.

Su Luo clenched his fist tightly. Though the moment hadn’t gone their way, frustration never crossed his face.

He quickly organized his teammates to retreat and defend, his steady and confident gaze reigniting their fighting spirit.

To him, this was merely a small setback—a brief episode in the larger battle.

At that moment, Thomson from the opposing team was brought on as a striker.

“Hagen! Watch out for Thomson!” Su Luo shouted a warning.

Hagen nodded, his eyes locked on the fast-approaching forward.

Under mounting pressure, Su Luo’s calmness and decisiveness stood out even more.

Her admiration for Su Luo deepened further, and his dazzling performance filled her heart with pride.

Coach Klopp heard her passionate cheer and looked up toward the stands.

Yet there wasn’t the slightest hint of panic on his face.

The crowd roared in unison, their cheers shaking the entire stadium.

“Su Luo! Su Luo!” they chanted, their voices filled with passion and faith.

Emily gripped her flag tightly and prayed silently, “Please, bring us victory.”

Then, just as the final whistle neared, Su Luo made one last charge.

Like a flash of golden lightning, he cut through the defense, leaving the final defender behind.

The entire stadium held its breath—time seemed to stop.

Su Luo suddenly slowed, then gently pushed the ball with his right foot.

The football soared in a graceful arc toward the goal.

Bang!

It struck the crossbar and bounced away!

Emily’s heart sank instantly—her emotions plummeting to rock bottom.

Chapter 34

Bang!

Linen kicked the cabin door open.

Inside, several robed figures were chanting around a glowing hexagram on the floor—but even after the door burst open, they didn’t stop.

The strange green light radiating from the formation illuminated their faces in eerie patterns.

Tony Stark stepped up beside Linen, frowning.
“Well, this is new,” he muttered. “I’ve seen some weird stuff before, but this takes the cake.”

He raised his palm, preparing to fire his repulsor cannon—

But before he could, the young man standing at the center of the hexagram turned his head toward them and spoke.
“You’re late.”

He slowly walked out of the glowing circle, yet the green light continued to swirl around him, clinging to his body like a living aura.

Natasha instinctively aimed her pistol, but Linen gently brushed his fingers across the back of her hand, giving her a silent look.

Understanding the message, she lowered her weapon slightly.

The young man smiled.
“Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kenneth Becky. You may not have heard of me before...”

His eyes shifted toward Tony. “But you, little Tony—you should know exactly who I am.”

Tony froze. “What the hell did you just call me?”

Then, as he got a clearer look at the man’s face, his eyes widened in disbelief.
“Uncle Kenneth? That’s impossible! You died when I was fifteen. My parents took me to your funeral—I saw your body buried with my own eyes!”

Kenneth chuckled softly, folding his arms.
“Yes, in your understanding, that would seem impossible. But this world has never lacked miracles.”

Natasha glanced at Tony. “Who is he?”

Tony’s tone turned serious.
“Kenneth Becky—my father’s old friend and business rival. His company once overshadowed Stark Industries. But when I was fifteen, he died suddenly. The police never figured out the cause. After that, his company collapsed within a few years.”

Tony frowned deeply. “I was there, Natasha. I saw the body. So how the hell are you standing here now?”

Kenneth’s smile widened.
“Nothing is impossible, little Tony. Life seems long, but in truth, it’s fleeting. I was fortunate enough to be... noticed by someone powerful—someone who granted me eternal life. What you see now is the result.”

He spread his hands slowly. “All I had to give in return... was a bit of money.”

Linen finally spoke, his calm voice cutting through the tension.
“The ‘powerful one’ you’re talking about must be a vampire.”

Kenneth’s smile faltered slightly.

“You think you gained immortality,” Linen continued, his golden eyes narrowing. “But in reality, you became a blood slave. Every ten years, your body undergoes a painful transformation—and without your master’s help, you’ll crumble into ashes.”

“That’s the price of a false eternity. You can walk in the sunlight, yes—but you’re still chained by your creator’s control.”

Kenneth’s expression darkened for a moment, then he laughed bitterly.
“I didn’t expect you to know so much. But it’s a pity—you’re not on my side.”

Natasha kept her gun ready, still waiting for Linen’s signal.
“Derrick Elro, a New York senator, sent mercenaries to attack us,” she said sharply. “The ones fighting SHIELD outside—are they working for you too?”

Kenneth grinned. “Of course. I’ve been in the shadows for years, building influence for my master. The wealthier and more powerful a person is, the more they fear death. So when I offer them a chance to extend their lives—they gladly pay the price. Some even beg to serve.”

“No wonder,” Natasha muttered. “Linen was right—you’re just one of the many who’ve sold their souls.”

Tony frowned. “If you already have eternal life, why bother with this ritual?”

Kenneth’s grin twisted into rage. “Why? To kill my vampire master!”

His once-smooth face began to contort with fury. The green glow in his eyes burned brighter.
“Do you have any idea what that ‘transformation’ feels like? It’s like a thousand blades cutting your flesh apart!”

“I served him faithfully for decades—brought him fortune, followers, power! And he never fulfilled his promise to make me a true vampire! He treated me like a dog!”

His voice grew louder, more distorted, and his body began to swell grotesquely. The green light enveloped him completely.

“Now, with the power of the demon Sarato, I’ll break free from that cursed control! From this moment on—I will become the god of this world!”

He looked down at them with crazed eyes.
“Tony, I respected your father once. But you and your friends—will die here today!”

Tony raised an eyebrow. “What is this, a Hulk cosplay?”

Kenneth roared, his body doubling in size as the green energy pulsed violently around him.

Linen stepped forward calmly, golden light flickering in his eyes.
“Do you know why I let you keep talking?”

Kenneth hesitated.

Linen’s expression turned cold.
“Because you were stalling for time... and so was I.”

A golden glow erupted from his hand as he raised it—
and a sword of pure light materialized in his grasp.

Chapter 33

Natasha stared at the terrified man beneath the mask, pressing her gun against his forehead.
“Who ordered you to attack us?” she demanded coldly. “Was your target me—or Linen?”

The man trembled, his panicked eyes flickering toward the squad captain lying beside him.

Noticing his glance, Natasha immediately aimed her gun at the captain.
“Answer the question!”

The captain clenched his jaw and said nothing.

Just as Natasha was about to press harder, Linen stepped forward.
“Let me handle this.”

He raised his hand, resting it gently on the captain’s forehead, and turned to Natasha.
“Do you want to know how I found out SHIELD has been monitoring me ever since we first met?”

As his voice faded, Linen’s eyes began to glow gold. He grabbed the captain by the collar and stared straight into his eyes.

“Look into my eyes!”

For a moment, the captain’s body froze as if caught in a nightmare. Then he began to tremble violently, making strange humming noises from his throat.

“Tell me,” Linen said darkly, “who’s your target? Who sent you here?”

Under the pressure of his gaze, the captain’s pupils dulled, and his voice turned hollow.
“Derrick Elro… paid us… The mission is to kill you… and stop you from interfering with the ceremony…”

The words barely left his mouth before his body convulsed violently. Foam spilled from his lips, and within seconds—he was dead.

“Derrick Elro?” Linen frowned and turned toward Natasha. “You know this guy?”

Natasha’s expression hardened. “Yeah. He’s a New York senator—and a member of the U.S. Senate.”

Before they could say more, police sirens wailed in the distance.

“Linen,” Natasha said quickly, “he just said they were trying to stop us from preventing the Advent Ceremony. That means something’s happening right now. I’m worried the SHIELD agents stationed at the cabin might already be under attack!”

“Then we move. Fast.”

Linen nodded and waved his hand. A glowing portal opened in front of them.

As they stepped through, Linen’s fingers twitched slightly—
and razor-sharp magic threads flashed across the air, slicing the necks of the remaining wounded attackers.

He would show no mercy to anyone who dared to shoot at him.

[System Notification: You killed 23 attackers. Rewards: Skeleton Warriors ×23.]

Hearing the notification in his mind, Linen stepped into the portal and vanished.

Moments later, a fleet of NYPD cruisers screeched to a stop near the scene.

When Chief Boris stepped out and saw the mangled corpses scattered across the street, his face turned pale. He bent over and vomited.

“F*ck,” he muttered, wiping his mouth. “This reminds me of the slaughterhouse I worked in back in Texas…”

After a few deep breaths, he straightened and barked, “Clean this up! Get all the bodies and fragments out of here!”

One of his officers hesitated. “Sheriff, aren’t we going to investigate? This is—this is brutal—”

“Investigate my ass!” Boris snapped. “This isn’t something we can get involved in!”

He waved his hand sharply, and his men immediately began clearing the scene.

Outside the cabin, deep in the suburbs of New York—

Gunfire echoed through the forest.

Da-da-da-da!
Boom!
Bang!

When Linen and Natasha emerged from the portal, they saw SHIELD agents exchanging heavy fire with a group of heavily armed mercenaries.

The agents were badly outnumbered. The forest ahead swarmed with enemies—at least three times their numbers.

If it weren’t for Tony Stark, flying above in his Iron Man armor and blasting enemies one after another with his repulsors, the SHIELD team would’ve been wiped out already.

“You’re late!” Tony shouted, landing beside them after a blast from his palm cannon cleared their path.

“Linen and I were attacked too!” Natasha said quickly—then spun and fired a clean headshot at a mercenary who had tried to ambush them.

“Thank God you’re here,” the director of SHIELD’s Supernatural Division ran over, crouching beside them. “We can hold this area. Reinforcements are on the way. You two—go! The ones inside the cabin have already started the ceremony!”

Natasha glanced at Linen, her expression serious.

“It’s not too late,” Linen said calmly. “The ritual has just begun.”

“Then what are we waiting for?” Tony growled, shoulder-mounted micro missiles launching into the forest. Several explosions followed, wiping out more hostiles.

He looked at Linen and Natasha. “I’ve seen undead before, but I’ll be damned if I let a demon crawl out of that house!”

Linen didn’t respond. His golden eyes gleamed as he walked toward the cabin without hesitation.

Seeing this, Natasha and Tony quickly followed.

The ceremony had begun—and whatever was inside that cabin was far worse than any of them had imagined.

Chapter 90 The Current Situation Of Fragrant Phosphorus

The Akatsuki’s Internal Turmoil

News of Naruto’s pursuit of Itachi quickly spread throughout the Akatsuki organization.

Of the four active members—Sasori, Deidara, Kisame, and Itachi—only Itachi had returned alive.

Although he had survived, he had lost one of his Sharingan. It was a heavy price to pay.

Yet, when questioned, Itachi couldn’t give a clear explanation. He couldn’t possibly tell them that Naruto had spared him.

Because of this, his position within Akatsuki plummeted.

Nagato and Konan began to suspect him of betrayal.

In the end, with Obito’s intervention, Itachi was cleared of suspicion.

But why did Obito help him?

Simple. Itachi had only one eye left—he was no longer a threat.

And as long as he lived, Obito could use him as a pawn.

That was the only reason he stepped in.

Karin’s Story

After Karin and her mother were attacked in the Land of Whirlpools, they wandered the ninja world for years before finding refuge in a small village.

But the price of survival was steep.

Karin grew up training in the village’s rundown ninja academy and eventually entered the Chūnin Exams.

Unfortunately, her teammates treated her as nothing more than a “walking healing spring,” caring little for her life.

Disillusioned, Karin broke away from them—only to be attacked by a massive bear.

At the critical moment, a handsome blond boy appeared and saved her.

He was so dazzling, so heroic… Karin was instantly captivated.

That boy was Naruto Uzumaki.

After the exam, Karin secretly considered sneaking into Konoha, just for the chance to see him again.

But before she could act, she was unexpectedly invited to meet with the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi.

He treated her warmly—almost too warmly.

Years of hardship had taught Karin that there was no such thing as a free meal.

If Hiruzen wanted her to stay and offered her such generous treatment, it had to come with a price.

Yet, he never stated his purpose directly, which made Karin uneasy.

Overwhelmed by fear and suspicion, she fled.

Upon returning to her village, her superiors berated her for her poor performance in the Chūnin Exams.

They stripped her of her ninja rank and planned to turn her into nothing more than a “human healing tool” to aid in war.

But Karin was no longer that naïve, trusting girl.

Taking advantage of a lapse in the village’s security, she escaped—becoming a missing-nin.

From that day forward, she lived as a fugitive, constantly pursued.

Her hunters never aimed to kill her, though. They wanted to capture her alive—because her healing ability was too valuable.

Fortunately, with her exceptional sensory abilities, Karin always managed to detect ambushes and slip away.

But even the cleverest prey can be cornered.

One day, surrounded and out of options, she was saved by none other than Orochimaru.

He praised her sensory skills and invited her to join the Sound Village.

Desperate and exhausted, Karin saw him as a savior and accepted.

To her, Orochimaru was like another light in the darkness—just like Naruto once was.

If Orochimaru wanted her to serve the Sound Village, she was willing.

But that faith didn’t last long.

Orochimaru’s true nature soon revealed itself. His twisted experiments terrified her.

She’d seen the others—his “test subjects.”

Monstrous, hollow-eyed things that barely resembled humans. Most of them didn’t survive.

Karin knew it was only a matter of time before she became one of them.

So she began secretly planning her escape.

She went over her plan countless times in her mind, waiting for the right opportunity—before Orochimaru decided to use her for experimentation.

Karin’s Escape

That day began like any other. Orochimaru had just finished drawing her blood for testing.

Then—

Boom!

The ground trembled violently.

But this was no ordinary earthquake. The vibration carried traces of Chakra.

Being of the Uzumaki clan, Karin instantly sensed it—familiar, powerful, and overwhelming.

It was Naruto’s Chakra!

The residual waves from his technique had even reached the Land of Sound.

Without hesitation, Karin made her move.

This was her chance to escape.

If she could just find Naruto, everything would be okay.

However, because she acted earlier than planned, her preparations were incomplete.

And soon—she was discovered.

The bad news: she’d been spotted.
The good news: not by Orochimaru himself.

Three Sound-nin were chasing her.

Karin gritted her teeth and sprinted toward the direction of Naruto’s Chakra.

But the pursuers were gaining fast.

She had plenty of Chakra but little combat skill. She couldn’t fight them head-on, and she knew she wouldn’t last long if they caught her.

By now, Orochimaru had probably already been informed and was on his way.

Leaping between branches, sweat glistened on her forehead as fear clouded her scarlet eyes.

Closer. They were getting closer!

But so was Naruto’s Chakra—it was near!

The night sky was clear, the moonlight bright.

Karin ran with everything she had left, her breathing ragged and uneven.

Behind her, the three Sound-nin shouted:

“Uzumaki Karin! Lord Orochimaru already knows you’re trying to defect!”

“If you stop now, maybe he’ll go easy on you!”

Karin ignored them, her heart pounding.

She had seen what “mercy” meant in Orochimaru’s experiments—those people became monsters, neither living nor dead.

She refused to end up like that.

She refused to die before seeing Naruto again.

Her only answer was to keep running.

She extended her sensory ability—Naruto’s Chakra was less than a kilometer away!

But before she could reach him—

A blow struck her back.

“Ah!”

She screamed as she fell from a branch, crashing to the ground.

Swish, swish, swish!

Three Sound-nin landed around her, surrounding her from all sides.

“Damn brat! You actually made us chase you this far!” one of them snarled. “You ruined my night’s sleep. I’ll kill you myself!”

Terror filled Karin’s eyes.

Naruto’s Chakra was so close—less than a thousand meters away!

For a trained ninja, that distance was nothing.

But for her, wounded and exhausted, it might as well have been an ocean.

“Naruto… please! Help me!” she cried toward the distant Chakra signature.

One of the Sound-nin raised his kunai, ready to strike.

But his companion stopped him.

“Hey! You trying to die or what?”

“Hmph, she deserves it.”

“She’s Orochimaru-sama’s test subject. If you kill her, you’ll be the one he experiments on next.”

“Tch… fine. We’ll wait for him.”

“Exactly. Lord Orochimaru will be here soon.”

They didn’t notice the faint red flicker far away—Kurama’s eyes opening within Naruto’s mind.

The Nine-Tails stirred, sensing danger.

“Oi, Naruto,” Kurama rumbled. “That red-haired girl—you better wake up. She’s calling for you.”

And with that, Naruto’s eyes snapped open.

Chapter 89 Guilt Induction

Border of the Land of Grass

The area looked as if it had just suffered a natural disaster.

When Naruto used his full strength to unleash the Great Spiraling Rasen Ring, Itachi’s Susanoo couldn’t withstand it at all.

Susanoo was completely shattered.

As the aftermath faded, Kisame’s figure had vanished, leaving only Uchiha Itachi’s silhouette amidst the devastation.

Floating in midair using the Ultra-Light Rock Technique, Naruto closed his eyes. He wasn’t using sensory perception this time—rather, pure battle intuition.

To be precise, it was prediction.

He kept his eyes shut to avoid falling under Uchiha Itachi’s genjutsu.

Sensing that Itachi was still alive, Naruto felt a faint sense of relief.

“As expected of you, Uchiha Itachi,” Naruto said calmly. “You actually managed to survive.”

Below, Itachi opened his remaining eye, staring at the desolate scene around him, a complicated emotion flickering in his heart.

He was still thinking of how to retreat when Naruto’s voice descended from above.

“Uchiha Itachi, go,” Naruto said quietly, still with his eyes closed. “Your life should end in his hands— not mine.”

Itachi froze, shocked that Naruto seemed to know his plan.

Almost no one knew of it. Not even his closest allies.

Only he truly understood the purpose behind his actions.

Only someone who had long observed Uchiha Itachi and possessed extraordinary analytical ability could vaguely guess his motives.

Orochimaru was one such person.

And now, Naruto was another.

Could it be that Naruto not only possessed overwhelming power, but also terrifying insight?

When Naruto made no move to attack, Itachi cautiously backed away.

Realizing Naruto truly intended to let him go, Itachi turned and fled.

He had his own mission—his own path to walk.

Though he still held many trump cards, he had no intention of using them against Naruto.

Once Itachi disappeared, Naruto’s transformation finally dissipated.

The Lightning Release Chakra Mode vanished, and Kurama’s chakra was exhausted.

A large portion of Naruto’s own chakra had been consumed after the prolonged battle and pursuit.

After all, the Great Spiraling Rasen Ring was a massive technique.

Even with his immense reserves from the Uzumaki and Senju bloodlines, using such devastating attacks repeatedly had drained him.

Still, he managed to maintain the Ultra-Light Rock Technique effortlessly.

After confirming Itachi had completely left, Naruto found a quiet spot nearby to rest for a while.

Rain Village

Konan, aware of Kisame and Itachi’s situation, had ordered them to lure Naruto away from the Land of Rain—avoiding unnecessary losses to the village.

Later, Konan reported everything to Nagato.

Nagato, controlling the Six Paths of Pain, personally set out.

But when they arrived, all they found was devastation.

Naruto, Uchiha Itachi, and Hoshigaki Kisame—none remained.

Pain had arrived too late.

Elsewhere

Konoha’s Anbu had sent a squad to Sunagakure to retrieve Naruto—only to be firmly rejected.

One of Yugao’s teammates tried to use force to bring Naruto back but was swiftly defeated by him.

In the end, only because of Yugao’s intervention did her teammates survive.

As they made their way back to Konoha, one teammate suddenly began blaming her.

“If you had been firmer back there, we might have completed the mission!” he snapped.

Yugao frowned, a bad feeling rising in her heart. “What did you just say?”

If it hadn’t been for her, he would already be dead.

And yet, he was now blaming her for the mission’s failure?

Under those circumstances, could the mission even have succeeded?

But her teammate clearly didn’t see it that way.

All he wanted now was to shift the blame—to avoid punishment once they returned.

After all, he believed he had done his best.

“When we get back, I’ll tell the truth to Lord Hokage!” he said coldly.

His tone made it sound like Yugao had betrayed Konoha.

Those words cut deep.

Yugao was not without temper. She glared back and said sharply, “You don’t need to remind me. As Anbu, I would never lie to the Third Hokage!”

The two eventually returned to the village and reported directly to the Hokage’s office.

After listening to their report, Sarutobi Hiruzen sighed heavily.

So that was it.

The reason Naruto left the village… was because his peaceful life had been disrupted.

Had he made a mistake yet again?

Hiruzen stared blankly at the ceiling, a lifetime of regret weighing on him. He weakly waved his hand. “You may leave.”

Yugao’s teammate bowed and left, secretly relieved.

This way, he could escape blame for the failed mission—by pushing some of the fault onto Yugao.

Now, only Hiruzen and Yugao remained in the room.

After a moment of silence, the old Hokage spoke again.

“Yugao,” he said slowly, “I’m afraid I must wrong you once more.”

Yugao blinked in confusion. “Third Hokage-sama… what do you mean? I’ve already done my best.”

“I know, Yugao,” Hiruzen said softly. “You’ve worked hard. But you also understand our situation.”

“If we want Naruto to return to the village, we may need to use… unconventional means.”

Yugao hesitated for a long moment before finally nodding. “I’m willing to do whatever it takes for the village.”

Hiruzen’s expression softened with approval.

As expected of an Anbu operative—her loyalty was unquestionable.

He then explained his plan in detail.

Yugao’s eyes widened in disbelief as she listened.

It felt deeply unfair. Yet, after a long silence, she gritted her teeth and agreed. “Understood.”

Hiruzen’s plan was to exploit Naruto’s guilt.

Guilt—one of the highest emotions distinguishing humans from beasts.

It was also the easiest to manipulate.

Those consumed by guilt often act against their own will.

And how to use it?

Naruto had once shared a connection with Yugao.

Now, stripped of her Anbu position for failing to retrieve him, Yugao would become the scapegoat.

Rumors would spread—claiming that her excessive surveillance drove Naruto from the village.

When Naruto eventually heard of what happened to her because of him, his kind heart would fill with guilt.

He would return to Konoha to make things right.

Then, Yugao could reveal the truth to him in person.

Meanwhile, Hiruzen would recruit Naruto’s close friends to convince him to stay.

It was a perfect plan.

Within days, Yugao became the target of public scorn in Konoha.

And because the mission was classified, she couldn’t defend herself.

Even Moonlight Gai, her lover, began to doubt her.

The pressure was unbearable.

The rumors soon spread beyond Konoha—to Sunagakure as well.

At that very moment, Naruto was resting quietly in a small inn in the Land of Grass…
Unaware of everything that was happening to Yugao back home.

Chapter 156 Odin Treasure House

Asgard — beneath Odin’s Palace, the God King had created an isolated dimensional space to seal away the countless treasures he’d acquired during his millennia of conquest across the realms.

Odin’s treasure vault was the most heavily guarded place in all of Asgard. The defenses were impenetrable to outsiders — but for Loki, the God of Mischief, it was a place he could enter and leave at will. And now that Allens had taken Loki’s form, he too could come and go freely.

The Asgardian guards and even the Destroyer automaton forged by Odin himself were useless before Allens. Loki’s magic allowed him to slip through dimensional gaps, a technique he often used to move secretly between Asgard’s inner and outer realms.

Appearing silently inside Odin’s treasure vault, Allens dropped his illusion and reverted to his true form. His eyes gleamed with curiosity.

The treasures before him were extraordinary, but what drew his attention most were two legendary artifacts — the Eternal Flame and the Infinity Gauntlet.

As he stepped forward, the first item that caught his eye was a stone tablet covered in strange markings — irregular and ancient, almost like an obelisk but asymmetrical in shape.

This relic, known as the Life Card, had been seized by Odin during his conquest of Atlantis. It was engraved with the fabled “Life Equation,” a formula said to grant evolution into a higher, supreme form of life — and even the power to resurrect.

Click.

Allens pressed his hand against his chest, and the diamond-shaped Arc Reactor embedded there released a stream of nanobots. The swarm climbed up his arm and formed a sleek metallic glove.

Click.

He grasped the Life Card. The containment device immediately flared with energy, trying to melt his hand — but the nano-glove absorbed the heat effortlessly, leaving Allens unharmed.

“J.A.R.V.I.S., record the data on the Life Card.”

Allens tapped his left ear, and a pair of translucent, magic-forged glasses appeared on his face. They connected directly to the J.A.R.V.I.S. AI backup stored in his Arc Reactor, and streams of data instantly filled his vision.

“Yes, sir. Scanning module activated. Analyzing inscriptions and constructing linguistic database…”

J.A.R.V.I.S.’s voice echoed in his ear as holographic glyphs and diagrams formed in front of him, building a complete 3D model of the artifact.

“Translate the Atlantean script and interpret the Life Equation,” Allens commanded calmly.

Releasing the stone, he continued deeper into the vault. Along both sides, relics of untold power shimmered faintly under the chamber’s light.

The first was a frost-covered relic — the Casket of Ancient Winters, the divine weapon of Jotunheim. Once unleashed, it could bring forth an eternal winter capable of freezing all Nine Realms. It was this very artifact that King Laufey had once used in his attempt to plunge Earth into an ice age.

To Allens’ right rested another strange object — a pale, crystalline eye mounted within an ornate frame.

“The Warlock’s Eye… Odin seized it during his conquest of the Nine Realms. It’s said to resemble the Eye of Agamotto — capable of glimpsing the future,” he murmured, intrigued. “Though from the looks of it, it doesn’t seem particularly impressive.”

Lifting it carefully, Allens studied the relic. The Warlock’s Eye could indeed foresee the future — but only in a singular, linear fashion. It could observe, not alter.

He smirked faintly and placed it aside.

As he ventured deeper, the temperature rose sharply. Ahead, blazing within an Uru-metal containment vessel, burned a magnificent inferno — the Eternal Flame of Muspelheim.

It was said to possess everlasting energy. As long as the Nine Realms existed, the Eternal Flame would never die. Only the Flame Giant Surtur could withstand its power without being consumed.

To Allens, the Eternal Flame represented more than destruction — it represented rebirth. Even small fragments of it could resurrect the dead.

“Perfect. The Eternal Flame will serve me well.”

Nanotech armor covered Allens’ arms as energy shields formed around his hands. He reached into the container, isolating a small portion of the Eternal Flame and sealing it within a compressed field.

Click, click.

A cluster of nanobots swirled together, forming a metallic orb that encapsulated the living flame completely.

“Ultron, guard the Eternal Flame for me.”

Allens raised his hand. The pendant around his neck — in reality, a compact starship — floated up. At his command, the sealed orb shrank and was absorbed into the ship through a nano-link interface.

Though Allens hadn’t yet mastered Pym Particle technology, he had successfully developed quantum-docking nano-structures, allowing him to store and stabilize miniature artifacts.

With the Eternal Flame secured, he advanced toward the center of the vault.

Hovering before him was a mysterious orb — violet on the outside, glowing faintly blue within — suspended above a metal dais.

Recognition flashed in Allens’ eyes.

“The Egmoto Sphere…” he breathed. “A relic once owned by the Ancient One, captured by Odin long ago.”

This device, forged from other-dimensional energy, could sense magic and danger from across realms. In simpler terms — it could detect the presence or intrusion of beings like Dormammu from the Dark Dimension.

To Allens, this was a priceless tool. He knew full well that the dimensional entities — Dormammu, the Lord of the Crimson Cosmos, and the Chaos Demon who had empowered the Scarlet Witch — were all far beyond his current reach.

He pocketed the Egmoto Sphere and conjured a flawless illusion of it in its place. Odin would never notice the difference — not without deep inspection.

Finally, Allens approached the object that drew him here in the first place. A massive, gleaming golden glove rested before him — the Infinity Gauntlet.

A slow grin spread across his face.

“At last… the Infinity Gauntlet.”

He chuckled softly, eyes glinting with ambition.

In the future, when Hela would break free and enter this vault, she’d sneer and claim Odin’s gauntlet was fake. But Allens knew the truth — the one before him was real.

Because this very Infinity Gauntlet had been taken from a dead Thanos in the future — and brought back by Captain America himself.

Chapter 155 Expulsion Of Thor

Boom.

At Asgard’s Bifrost, Heimdall turned the Guardian Sword, and on the bridge connecting to the gates of Asgard, the God King Odin appeared with Thor, Allens, and the others.

“Father, why compromise? We are Asgard — rulers of the Nine Realms!”

As soon as he landed on Bifrost, Thor questioned impatiently. His fury boiled over, and in his anger, he forgot that he was speaking to his father, the King of Gods himself.

“Thor Odinson, my first son,” Odin said coldly, his one eye sharp as steel, “you are not yet the King of Asgard.”

Under the crushing might of Odin’s divine aura, Thor fell silent, unable to speak. The pressure of a being at the level of a God Father was beyond what he could bear.

“I’m… very sorry, Father,” Thor finally muttered, lowering his proud head. Before Odin, even the arrogant God of Thunder was just Thor Odinson — son of Odin.

“O great and supreme All-Father, please forgive my brother this once.”

Seeing the rising tension between Odin and Thor, Allens — disguised as Loki — lowered his head respectfully, his eyes glimmering faintly as he spoke in a calm tone. According to Loki’s memories, Allens knew Odin would punish Thor harshly to teach him a lesson and to show the Nine Realms that the king of gods upheld his own laws.

“Thor Odinson,” Odin’s voice thundered across the bridge, “you have forgotten the patience, wisdom, and leadership I entrusted to you. You are not worthy to be the future God-King of Asgard!”

“With your arrogance and foolishness, you’ve broken the peace that has long kept Asgard safe!”

“I now strip you of your divine power — in the name of my father, in the name of my forefathers, and in the name of Odin, King of Asgard! I banish you from this realm!”

Odin struck the Spear of Eternity upon the ground. Mjolnir flew from Thor’s hand into Odin’s grasp, and the divine armor surrounding Thor shattered piece by piece. Lifting Mjolnir high, Odin unleashed a wave of immense energy that struck Thor, casting him down toward Midgard — Earth.

“Father!” Allens took a step forward, pretending to plead, but Odin’s cold gaze froze him in place.

“Silence!” Odin roared. “In the name of Odin, King of Asgard — whoever is worthy shall wield Mjolnir and possess the power of Thor!”

Sensing something strange within “Loki,” Odin refused to let him speak further. He enchanted Mjolnir, sealing its power, and hurled it down into the Nine Realms.

“Loki, Warriors Three, and Lady Sif — you all allowed Thor to trespass into Jotunheim. Therefore, by my divine decree, you are confined to your quarters. None of you may leave your palaces!”

After announcing his judgment, Odin’s divine power surged again. Allens felt the world twist around him, and in the next instant, he was standing inside Loki’s palace.

Boom. Boom. Boom.

Pillars of energy crashed down from the skies above the palace — a structure second only to Odin’s own — forming a glowing circular cage that enclosed the entire estate, locking “Loki” inside.

“As expected of Odin, the King of Gods,” Allens said quietly, sitting upon Loki’s throne. “Though he couldn’t see through my disguise, his strength and wisdom are unmatched. He sensed something was off and sealed me here. A Level-God Father’s power truly is terrifying.”

In his right hand, a scepter of divine energy took shape — though unlike Loki’s usual weapon, it lacked the Mind Stone.

Even with Loki’s physical body and divine power, Allens felt a faint sense of helplessness when recalling Odin’s might. A being of that level could easily crush Thanos before he ever possessed the Infinity Stones.

If the Ancient One had reached her level by mastering the Time Stone and supreme magic, Odin had done so through sheer divine might. In overall strength, Odin far surpassed even the Sorcerer Supreme.

Thor in Avengers: Endgame had once endured the power of a neutron star — yet Odin, even weakened and near the end of his life, could have defeated that version of Thor effortlessly.

This was why Allens had chosen to kill Loki and take his place — to infiltrate Asgard from within, obtain its advanced technology, and, above all, avoid a direct clash with Odin.

“However,” Allens murmured with a smirk, “the God King may have miscalculated. While he sealed Loki’s magic-based teleportation, he overlooked my ability to travel through quantum space.”

A cold, cunning smile spread across his face. Odin had indeed blocked Loki’s teleportation spells, but quantum bridge travel was far beyond the Asgardian king’s foresight.

Whoosh.

Before the throne, a projection of Loki appeared — an illusion conjured by Allens’ divine power and illusion magic, indistinguishable from the real thing. Not even Odin would detect the difference.

Behind Allens, a shimmering blue portal opened. With a final glance at the illusion, he sneered and stepped backward, vanishing into the glowing curtain of light.

Meanwhile, in the grand Odin Palace, the God King sat upon his throne in silence. His body straight, his expression solemn, he gripped the Spear of Eternity tightly in his hand.

He stared at the ancient murals above the throne room as waves of divine power rippled through the chamber.

“Hahaha… how laughable, Odin. Even your own son defies your peace! Your hypocritical ideals — your so-called order — your son rejects them as I do!”

“Damn you, Odin! You always knew I was right!”

A mocking, furious voice echoed through the hall. Odin’s face darkened.

“Enough, Hela,” he said, slamming the Spear of Eternity onto the ground. A surge of divine power shot into the dark void where his firstborn, the Goddess of Death, was imprisoned.

“Hahaha! Odin, you’ve grown old. I’ll bring you the Ragnarök you’ve feared for so long. I’ll return — for vengeance!”

Her laughter echoed and faded into the distance. When silence returned, Odin slumped back in his throne, weary and pained.

He sighed deeply and closed his eyes — never noticing that, hidden beneath the palace, the figure of “Loki” was already watching from the shadows.

Chapter 1,060 It’S Time For Marcus To Show Himself

Robert nodded with a smile and said enthusiastically, “That’s right! We’ll use our actions to repay Su Luo’s contribution to the team. We’ll definitely put on a wonderful performance in the next game!”

As the second half began, Dortmund still held their lead.

From the sidelines, Coach Klopp noticed that Robert, the exhausted forward, could no longer pose a strong offensive threat.

So, he decided to substitute Robert with the young rookie, Marcus.

This decision excited the crowd and Su Luo’s supporters, including Emily. They firmly believed this adjustment would strengthen the team’s attack and help maintain their advantage.

“Good job, Robert,” Klopp said, patting him on the shoulder. “You’ve played really well, but now it’s time for Marcus to show what he can do.”

Although a bit disappointed, Robert still smiled in understanding.
“I understand, coach. Marcus has my full support. I believe he’ll do a great job.”

After the substitution, Marcus quickly adapted to the rhythm of the game.
He formed an instant connection with Su Luo and Hagen, creating wave after wave of dangerous attacks.

His quick, flexible movement and precise passing made it difficult for the opponents to respond.

Coach Klopp watched the field intently, his confidence in Marcus growing stronger.
He knew this decision could determine whether the team held onto their lead—or even expanded it.
At such critical moments, a coach must make bold adjustments.

Inside the Golden Storm Stadium, the tension was palpable.
The fans waited with bated breath, their eyes following every pass, every movement.

Emily was so nervous she wanted to stand up and cheer.

Marcus felt both excited and tense, but deep down, he believed in himself.
He kept running tirelessly, weaving between the defenders with his teammates as they searched for an opening.

Under Su Luo and Hagen’s coordination, Dortmund’s formation looked sharp and solid again.

“Marcus!” Su Luo shouted, his voice cutting through the noise.
“Believe in yourself! You can do it!”

Their chemistry, forged through countless matches, allowed them to understand each other without words—just a glance was enough to communicate intent.

Through their seamless cooperation, Marcus gained more opportunities to display his skills.

The atmosphere in the stadium grew increasingly intense as fans placed their hopes on the young player.
Every time Marcus touched the ball, the crowd erupted into cheers that echoed through the arena.

As the game progressed, Su Luo became even more active.
He darted through the defense with dazzling agility, and every touch of the ball drew a roar from the audience.

His speed and technique left defenders grasping at air as he created one dangerous chance after another.

The Golden Storm Stadium was now a sea of passion and noise.
Fans shouted Su Luo’s name, their voices blending into thunderous waves that filled the air.

They believed—Su Luo would lead them to victory.
Every time he touched the ball, the entire stadium seemed to tremble.

Feeling the fiery enthusiasm of the fans, Su Luo’s confidence surged.
Their energy became his strength, fueling his determination.

He knew his role on the pitch was crucial—and he was fulfilling it with everything he had.

In that blazing atmosphere, Su Luo and the crowd seemed to share one heartbeat, perfectly in sync.

Not only does Su Luo possess dazzling talent, but he also demonstrates the strength and leadership worthy of being the team’s core player.

Seeing Su Luo’s outstanding performance, the crowd rose to their feet, cheering wildly and waving flags. Their voices rolled through the stadium like a surging river, shaking the stands.

The electrifying scene pushed the atmosphere of the match to its climax and reignited the fighting spirit of every Dortmund player.

They were filled with passion and determination, striving with everything they had to win glory for their team.

Su Luo could feel the energy radiating from both the pitch and the stands. The roaring cheers of the crowd filled him with pride and resolve.

He knew that Dortmund possessed a unique spirit — a spirit of unity and perseverance — and that maintaining cooperation in such intense competition was the key to success.

Su Luo’s eyes focused sharply on the corner kick opportunity ahead. The air inside Golden Storm Stadium was heavy with tension and anticipation.

All eyes were fixed on him. Emily bit her lip nervously, her palms slick with sweat.

At the center of the field, the referee’s whistle blew, signaling the start of the corner kick.

Su Luo sprinted to the baseline, feeling the immense pressure weighing down on him — yet he knew that at moments like this, he always delivered.

As the ball sailed into the air, tracing a beautiful arc filled with the crowd’s expectations, Su Luo slipped into the penalty area like a shadow.

He leapt up decisively, graceful and explosive like a cheetah, and performed an astonishing move that seemed almost unreal.

Bang! The football met Su Luo’s right foot perfectly and blasted toward the goal like a bolt of lightning under the sun.

The entire stadium erupted into thunderous cheers, fans rising like waves after a storm.

From that corner kick, Su Luo sent the ball straight into the net with a stunning long-range volley — completing his hat trick!

Emily jumped to her feet in joy, raising her arms high and shouting his name. Her face glowed with pride and excitement, her eyes brimming with admiration.

The entire audience was captivated by Su Luo’s brilliance, clapping and cheering with uncontrollable passion.

Golden Storm Stadium was ablaze with light and emotion — this was the birth of glory and the rewriting of records.

Su Luo turned to face the roaring fans, raising his hands in gratitude.

Yet, even at this triumphant moment, there was no arrogance or vanity in his heart. His expression was calm — the quiet confidence of a man who simply gave his all.

After the match, laughter and celebration filled Dortmund’s locker room.

The players hugged one another, rejoicing in their victory, while Robert and Hagen sat quietly to the side, still in awe.

“Su Luo is incredible!” Robert exclaimed. “That world-class goal… it was absolutely jaw-dropping!”

Hagen nodded in agreement. “Yeah, his performance was unbelievable. I don’t even know what words could describe him anymore.”

The two exchanged sincere looks of admiration.

Robert continued, “This match proved Su Luo’s strength as the team’s core and leader. He’s our soul out there.”

Hagen added with conviction, “Every time I see Su Luo fighting so hard on the pitch, it makes me want to push myself even more. He’s truly an inspiration.”

Robert nodded again, recalling Su Luo’s figure commanding the field. “We need leaders like him — people who can drive the whole team to reach new heights.”

Hagen raised his head, his eyes filled with pride and determination. “In the next match, we’ll follow Su Luo’s lead and give it everything we’ve got. I believe victory will be ours!”

Chapter 32

In a car parked on the roadside in Queens—

“F*ck, Jessica! You damn bitch!”

Barbara’s voice exploded in frustration as Jessica’s sharp laughter came through the phone speaker.

“I’m out here negotiating a deal with the factory,” Barbara growled, parking her car roughly on the curb, “and you, little bitch, are out there eating without me?”

“Eating alone is fine,” Jessica teased from the other end. “But don’t forget, I called you to let you listen. F*ck you!”

Barbara clenched her jaw, ready to hang up. But before she could, Jessica shrieked through the phone:
“If you hang up, we’re done!”

Barbara nearly threw her phone out the window in anger. With a sigh, she rubbed her thighs absentmindedly, then tossed the phone onto the passenger seat, switched it to speaker mode, and started the car.

There was no way she was letting that little bitch Jessica enjoy dinner alone.

The next morning.

After stretching and hearing the satisfying crack of his joints, Linen nodded with contentment.

Nineteen years old and still growing strong.

Barbara had been thoughtful enough to bring him a bunch of nutritional supplements yesterday afternoon—though, honestly, he didn’t need them.

After washing up, he stepped out of his apartment just as Natasha pulled up in her red Ford sports car. The window rolled down, revealing her familiar teasing smile.

“Good morning, Linen. You look better every day.”

“Not bad, huh?” Linen grinned, pulling open the passenger door and sliding in. “So, today’s the day those guys hold their so-called ‘Advent Ceremony.’ SHIELD’s got everything arranged?”

“Of course.” Natasha started the car and handed him a warm burger from a paper bag. “I was worried you’d skip breakfast. It’s still hot!”

“Thanks, but I’m not used to eating in cars.”

Declining politely, Linen added, “Don’t forget the final payment. That’s important.”

“Relax,” Natasha smirked, putting the burger back. “SHIELD still has some credibility. Once we catch those guys, you’ll get your money.”

Linen nodded, satisfied. “By the way… you might want to tell SHIELD to pull back whoever’s been monitoring me. Otherwise—”

Natasha blinked, frowning. “Monitoring you? SHIELD hasn’t assigned anyone to watch you.”

Linen gave her a flat look. “You know I have special methods, Natasha. Trust me—someone’s watching me, and they’re SHIELD agents.”

Her expression darkened.

She remembered the “future video” she’d once seen—the one Linen created. In that footage, he had warned her that SHIELD wasn’t as clean as it seemed. That joining them was like stepping from one swamp into another.

After that, she and Nick Fury had secretly investigated, but found nothing.

And yet now… someone was really watching Linen behind Fury’s back?

“I’ll report it to Fury,” Natasha said firmly. “If there’s something shady going on—”

Before she could finish, a truck suddenly came barreling straight toward them.

Natasha swerved hard, barely dodging. But just as they escaped collision, two black SUVs screeched to a stop in front of them, blocking the road.

A group of armed men poured out, rifles raised, opening fire in a storm of bullets.

“Shit!”

With a wave of his hand, Linen conjured a glowing magic shield, instantly blocking the barrage. Bullets pinged harmlessly off the shimmering barrier.

“Move!” Natasha shouted, pulling him from the car as they ducked behind the wrecked vehicle. She drew two pistols from her waist, handing one to him. “You can use this, right?”

“Of course,” Linen replied coolly. “But I prefer not to.”

The air around him rippled. Space itself began to twist and distort.

From the void, chains of energy burst forth—like tentacles—snaking through the air and seizing the gunmen. They screamed as the chains whipped them around like rag dolls.

Natasha rolled from cover, firing rapidly. Each bullet found its mark—clean headshots, one after another.

“Be careful!” she shouted, spotting a thug pulling the pin from a grenade.

But Linen only flicked his wrist.

A portal shimmered open in front of him, swallowing the grenade whole.

A second later—

BOOM!

The explosion erupted behind the attackers, blasting several of them off their feet.

Before they could even fall, Linen spread his fingers, summoning thin, invisible threads of energy. The air hissed—then the men were sliced to pieces midair, their bodies scattering like dust.

Natasha froze for a moment, eyes wide.

She’d seen death before—plenty of it. But this… the sheer precision and calm power behind it chilled her.

Her estimation of Linen’s strength climbed yet again.

Within seconds, over a dozen armed men were dead.

“Linen,” Natasha said quickly, lowering her pistols. “Leave a few alive. I need to know who sent them.”

“No problem.”

Linen snapped his fingers. The glowing chains constricted instantly—tightening until several unconscious but living enemies dropped to the ground.

Linen gestured toward them. “They’re all yours.”

Natasha nodded, glancing around as nearby pedestrians screamed and fled. She crouched beside one of the fallen men and yanked off his mask—

—and froze when she saw the face underneath.

Chapter 31

After the video conference ended, Nick Fury said to Natasha,
“Natasha, since Thor wants to go to New Mexico, have Coulson arrange someone to take him there. Maybe he’ll have a breakthrough and be able to lift his hammer again.

Also, keep looking for any trace of Wanda Django Maximoff.”

“Got it,” Natasha nodded.

After ending the call, she turned to Thor and said, “Coulson will send you to New Mexico.”

“Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go now!”

Filled with urgency, Thor didn’t want to stay another second. He took out his phone, called Coulson, and quickly made arrangements.

Natasha sat back in her chair, lost in thought.

At the same time, in Linen’s apartment—

[Overall trust value of the video exceeds 80%. New skill acquired: Transformation (Beginner).]

[Skill Description: People killed by the host can be transformed into skeleton warriors.]

[Notes:]

  1. The stronger the target killed by the host, the stronger the resulting skeleton warrior.

  2. Current maximum number of skeleton warriors: 300.

  3. After the transformation spell is cast, the skeleton warriors will enter the Hell Dimension and await the host’s next summon.

  4. Skeleton warriors are consumable and cannot regenerate once destroyed. The host may replenish them after use.

Reading the new system message, Linen’s eyes lit up with excitement.

So anyone he kills can be turned into his own skeleton warrior?

What if, someday, he kills Thanos—and transforms him into a skeleton warrior? Wouldn’t that mean he’d have a loyal servant at a “Mad Titan” level of power?

And if the transformation skill could be upgraded to its maximum level, he could command an entire army of the dead with just a wave of his hand!

Now, in addition to summoning undead, he could also create them.

Glancing at the calendar, Linen thought to himself.
It was mid-November, almost 2011. That meant in about a year, the Battle of New York would take place.

The Chitauri might be considered the weakest race in the universe by Rocket Raccoon—but that was all relative.
If Linen could turn them into fearless, pain-free skeleton warriors, then—

A year would be more than enough time for him to master and upgrade the Transformation skill. By then, he could truly call himself a one-man army.

Thinking that, Linen closed the system.

“Linen!”

Just as he was about to go out to buy groceries, Jessica walked in carrying a box of pizza.

“You haven’t eaten lunch yet, right?”

She set the pizza down and smiled. “The studio’s been set up. We’re calling it East Coast Studio. It officially opens in three days. Barbara already settled things with the factory.

But what we need most now is exposure—people have to know what our studio can do!”

As she opened the pizza box, about to grab a slice, Linen slapped her hand lightly.

“Go wash your hands first.”

“Tsk.”

Jessica rolled her eyes but went to the bathroom.

At the table, Linen drank his Coke while listening to her talk about promoting the studio.

After a few moments, he said, “I can make the dead appear, yes—but are you sure you want to use that trick on your best friend?”

“Of course!” Jessica sneered, swallowing a bite of pizza. “That girl has been fake since childhood—what you’d call a ‘green tea type.’

Her father and mine are colleagues, so we grew up together. In front of adults, she’d act all sweet and polite—but behind their backs, she’d team up with others to bully me.”

She scowled at the memory. “Once, she and her friends cornered me in the bathroom. I ended up slapping her three times before she finally cried—but even that didn’t stop her.

She never bothered me again, but she still bullies others just because her father’s a congressman!”

Jessica put down her pizza and leaned closer.
“Let me put it this way, Linen—you’re from a regular family. My father’s the deputy mayor. But Barbara and I are still willing to kneel before you, to follow you.

That girl? She wouldn’t even look at you. She’d probably even tell others to mess with you.”

Linen nodded slowly. “So what happens after I summon the undead?”

“Leave the rest to me,” Jessica said confidently. “My brother won’t admit it, but thanks to our family, he’s now an executive at Fox TV in New York.”

“When that girl gets haunted by the undead, my brother’s TV station will cover it. The news will blow up instantly. I can even get him to start a special segment—or a live ‘exorcism show.’”

“Once every priest or wizard they bring in fails, fear will spread. And when you show up like a savior, people will worship you—and our studio will explode in popularity.”

She smirked. “Then you’ll be famous—New York high society will treat you as a guest of honor. The three of us will be rich beyond imagination.

And believe me, the higher people’s status, the more they believe in the supernatural.”

Linen picked up the last slice of pizza. “Not bad. But that girl’s father is a congressman. Do you really think he’d allow it to be public? Let alone televised?”

Jessica smiled knowingly. “Linen, you’re from a common family. Ours is old and influential. There are things you might not understand—no offense.

But trust me. I’ll handle it.”

Seeing her confidence, Linen nodded. “Alright then, I’ll leave it to you.”

“No problem!”

Jessica lifted her Coke and clinked it against his. After they drank, she gave him a playful smile.

“Barbara’s not here right now, Linen. Still got the energy to spar a little?”

After saying that, without waiting for Lin En to make any move, Jessica knelt directly on the stall...

Chapter 88 Chasing Itachi And Kisame

Kisame stared at the black-gold sphere forming in Naruto’s hand and warned grimly,
“Don’t let that thing hit you.”

Even Itachi’s usually calm tone carried a trace of unease.
“I know…”

At this moment, Uchiha Itachi’s body had been completely restored to its prime through Orochimaru’s technology.
His condition was stable, his chakra vast and controlled.

This was one of the legendary “phantom gods” of the ninja world —
A shinobi once said to possess enough power to seal Kaguya Ōtsutsuki herself.

A being who had ascended beyond even the level of the Six Paths.

That was—

A fully healthy Itachi Uchiha!

His Susanoo had surpassed its former limits, now manifesting as a towering warrior with fully formed limbs,
its presence radiating sheer destruction.

With Kisame’s chakra added to his own, this Itachi stood at the absolute peak of his power.

Whoosh—!

Susanoo raised the flaming Totsuka Blade in its right hand, radiating sealing energy.
In its left hand, it held a massive gourd,
and the Yata Mirror had transformed into an armor-like breastplate covering Susanoo’s chest.

Behind its head, three spinning Yasaka Magatama circled in constant motion.

The only pity was that Itachi still couldn’t manifest the complete-body Susanoo at this time.

Naruto’s massive black-gold Rasenshuriken, infused with Kurama’s chakra, came hurtling toward him like a meteor.

Itachi’s Mangekyō spun violently as he commanded Susanoo to thrust its Totsuka Blade forward.

The sealing power of the blade activated instantly—
the Rasenshuriken’s chakra began solidifying, its violent rotation faltering.

But the internal chakra structure was disrupted,
and the entire Rasenshuriken detonated midair before Itachi could finish sealing it.

The explosion engulfed Susanoo like divine judgment from the heavens.

Fortunately, the Yata Mirror’s armor neutralized most of the chakra-based impact.
Even so, what remained was enough to send Susanoo crashing back,
a shockwave tearing across the desert like a storm.

Inside, Itachi’s eyes widened in disbelief.
This level of raw power—no matter how violent or immense—was beyond anything he had expected from Naruto.

Taking advantage of the blast’s momentum, Itachi commanded Susanoo to turn and flee.

Naruto, floating near Sunagakure, raised a brow.
“You’re running away already?”

He prepared to give chase—
but was stopped by Rasa, the Fourth Kazekage.

“Wait, Naruto,” Rasa said firmly. “The other two are still here. Let’s deal with Deidara and Sasori first.”

Naruto shook his head slightly.
“Kazekage-sama, they’re all part of the same organization. You can tell that much, can’t you?”

Rasa nodded gravely. “Yes. Their target is clearly the Jinchūriki. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have gone after Gaara—or asked about you.”

Naruto said flatly, “If we don’t eliminate the root, they’ll just keep coming back. If they attack Sunagakure again, it’ll still be our loss.”

Rasa frowned. He knew Naruto was right, but still hesitated.
“This is too dangerous. The village can’t afford to lose you.”

Naruto casually flicked a Flying Thunder God kunai into the sand.

Rasa didn’t move—until he noticed the seal engraved on the kunai.

His expression froze.

That mark... that technique...

It was unmistakable.

The Flying Thunder God Jutsu—the same mark that once belonged to Namikaze Minato, the Yellow Flash.

The memory sent a chill down Rasa’s spine.

During the Third Great Ninja War, Minato had been a one-man army—
a golden demon who tore through entire battlefields like a rampaging tailed beast.

Seeing that same symbol again filled even the Kazekage with unease.

Naruto looked at him and said calmly,
“Even if I can’t beat them, I’ll come straight back.”

Rasa hesitated, then nodded. “Alright. Just… don’t be reckless.”

“Temari and the village… can’t afford to lose you.”

It was an oddly sentimental statement,
especially considering Naruto had only been in Sunagakure for a few days—
and wasn’t even one of their shinobi.

Naruto just smiled and said nothing before vanishing in a flash, pursuing Itachi and Kisame.

By the time Naruto caught their trail again, the two Akatsuki members had already covered a great distance.

He reached out to draw on Kurama’s chakra once more—his earlier supply nearly depleted.

With a fresh surge of golden energy coursing through him, he accelerated.

There was no way they could escape him.

The chase tore across the desert, past dunes and ravines,
until they crossed into the Land of Rivers, the old battlefield between Konoha and Sunagakure during the last Great Ninja War.

Further east lay the Land of Fire.

Sensing Naruto closing in, Itachi veered north, heading toward the Land of Rain.

Naruto’s power was terrifying,
but Susanoo’s combination of the Totsuka Blade’s sealing power and the Yata Mirror’s defense
allowed Itachi to block and deflect long enough to retreat again and again.

As they neared the border of the Land of Rain, drizzle began to fall.

Raindrops pattered softly against Susanoo’s crimson armor.

Through the rain, Itachi received a silent message—Konan’s order.

“She won’t allow us to enter.”

Itachi’s heart sank.

Kisame said, his breathing heavy, “I’m running low on chakra. We’ll have to regroup later—
let the leader handle this. We’ll rendezvous in the Land of Grass.”

Itachi nodded, absorbing the last of Kisame’s chakra to keep Susanoo active.

But they had underestimated Naruto’s speed.

Just as they crossed into the Land of Grass, Naruto appeared before them once more, golden aura blazing.

He looked around at the barren landscape and smirked.
“So you led me here on purpose—so I could go all out without holding back?”

“Then you got your wish.”

Naruto raised his palm, gathering chakra with full force.

A massive Rasenshuriken, the size of a basketball, took form—
its energy seven to eight times stronger than a normal one.

Inside Susanoo, Itachi’s instincts screamed danger.
He moved exactly as before—
using the Totsuka Blade to seal part of the attack’s chakra,
then relying on the Yata Mirror and Susanoo’s armor to block the rest.

But this time… he miscalculated.

This Rasenshuriken contained nearly 30% of Naruto’s total chakra.

Its destructive power had surpassed all imagination.

According to Kurama’s own words,
“This attack’s force is at least twenty times greater than a full-powered Tailed Beast Bomb.”

The explosion that followed shattered Susanoo completely,
its armor and chakra scattering into the air like burning glass.

At that final, desperate moment—
Itachi Uchiha’s left eye went dim.

Chapter 87 Solving The Art Duo

No one knew what technique Deidara was preparing to use.

But the tone of his voice… it sounded like he was saying goodbye.

That uneasy feeling made Sasori frown.

Although Sasori didn’t agree with Deidara’s so-called “art,” he had to admit—Deidara’s explosions were truly powerful.

If that bastard really had some earth-shattering technique hidden up his sleeve, it wouldn’t surprise him at all.

At this distance, Deidara’s explosion would definitely affect him.

And right now, Sasori was sealed by the Torii Seal of the Shinigami Gate, unable to move, forced to watch in frustration.

Damn it.

If he really died from Deidara’s blast, his brilliant life as an artist would be over in such a ridiculous way.

But at that critical moment, Deidara’s emotions were reaching their peak—

Meanwhile, Naruto, wielding a Rasengan, charged straight at Kisame.

Kisame’s eyes widened, quickly forming a hand seal. “Is that jutsu aimed at me? Hahaha!”

Deidara had intended to self-destruct—

But when he saw Naruto sprinting past him, not toward him, he froze.

“...Ah?”

Deidara was confused, his boiling blood instantly cooled.

Naruto’s figure blurred, closing in on Kisame at lightning speed.

Kisame quickly formed seals, preparing his ultimate move.

The distance between them shrank rapidly—

Kisame unleashed his jutsu, summoning a monstrous water shark bomb that lunged toward Naruto.

Naruto’s face remained calm. So this is the jutsu that absorbs chakra, like in the original… Interesting. The principle—similar to Wood Style? No, not quite. But whatever.

The corners of Naruto’s mouth lifted slightly—then he vanished.

Kisame’s massive shark missed completely, tearing through the forest behind Naruto.

Trees were shredded, waves of sand and debris rising into the air.

But Naruto’s real body suddenly appeared—right above Deidara’s head.

“What the—?!”

Deidara had just given up on using his ultimate technique when Naruto appeared out of nowhere.

Without hesitation, Naruto drove the Rasengan straight into Deidara’s skull.

This Rasengan was as large as a Tailed Beast Bomb, its power overwhelming.

Within seconds, Deidara’s consciousness shattered. The explosion lit up the desert like a white aurora, leaving behind a massive crater tens of meters wide.

The yellow sand was blasted away, scattering across the sky.

Deidara lay in the center of the blast, body mangled, life slipping away.

He had no chance to activate his secret technique—his body was too broken.

Even moving a finger was impossible.

“Uzumaki... Naruto…” Deidara rasped, bloodshot eyes glaring. “You… despicable bastard…”

Floating in midair using the Super Light-Weight Rock Technique, Naruto looked down and corrected him coldly,
“It’s not despicable—it’s smart. You’re just too stupid.”

It wasn’t even Deidara’s fault.

He never realized that Naruto had left a Flying Thunder God seal on him earlier.

And Deidara had no idea Naruto could even use that technique.

Without prior awareness, the Flying Thunder God Jutsu is nearly impossible to defend against.

A ninja’s offense may be powerful—but their defense is fragile.
Once struck, there’s no recovering.

That’s what made the technique so deadly.

Naruto had placed his seal on Deidara during their first brief clash.

Then he intentionally acted as if he were focusing on Kisame, just to lower Deidara’s guard—

All to stop him from self-destructing and endangering Sunagakure.

It looked like Naruto was attacking eastward, but his true target had always been Deidara.

Now, Deidara’s body was broken beyond repair, his life completely gone.

If he were still alive, with that fiery temper of his, he’d never stay silent at Naruto’s taunts.

Naruto confirmed Deidara’s death, then turned his attention toward Kisame and Uchiha Itachi.

“It’s your turn now.”

Itachi stayed silent for a few seconds before murmuring to Kisame, “The situation isn’t in our favor. We need to retreat.”

Kisame’s eyes widened. “Retreat? If we run now, both Sasori and Deidara will die!”

“There’s no choice,” Itachi replied evenly. “Under my Mangekyō, I can see it—Naruto’s chakra is at least five times greater than the two of us combined.”

Kisame frowned. “I can absorb chakra, but I can’t even touch him. He’s too fast. Even escaping won’t be easy.”

“…Then use my chakra,” Kisame offered grimly.

Kisame wasn’t called the “Tailless Tailed Beast” for nothing.
His chakra reserves were immense—partly because of his Samehada and his own altered physiology.

He wasn’t just a human—he was a result of experiments, explaining his shark-like appearance.

Even among Akatsuki, Kisame’s chakra far surpassed that of most shinobi—even Itachi’s.

Itachi nodded slowly, Mangekyō spinning. “Then we’ll have to do it this way.”

Their goal had now shifted—from capturing Naruto to simply escaping alive.

Kisame looked up at the golden figure in the sky and muttered bitterly,
“What kind of monster is he?”

He wasn’t wrong.

Naruto’s current power, boosted by Lightning Release Chakra Mode, Super Light-Weight Rock Technique, and Kurama’s chakra, had pushed him to super-Kage-level strength.

To be unable to kill Sasori and Deidara instantly would’ve been the real surprise.

Itachi didn’t hold back any longer. Red chakra erupted from his body, taking shape.

Susanoo rose up—towering, crimson, and terrifying—encasing both him and Kisame.

Kisame stood inside, awestruck. “So this is the legendary Susanoo… It’s incredible.”

For a fleeting moment, he even imagined they might stand a chance against Naruto.

But that thought quickly vanished.

After all—thinking you can fight back, and thinking she likes you, are both just illusions.

Naruto, facing Susanoo’s all-encompassing defense, showed no fear.

He raised his palm.

A terrifying surge of chakra condensed within his hand—black light flickering.

Moments later, a dark sphere appeared, surrounded by a spinning, star-like ring.

Chakra compressed to the limit formed a massive Rasen-Shuriken, enhanced by Kurama’s golden chakra.

Since they were battling near Sunagakure, Naruto didn’t dare unleash his full power—
even this attack would cause devastating collateral damage.

And yet… this wasn’t even his limit.

Chapter 154 The Arrival Of God King Odin

Asgard, Odin’s Palace.

The All-Father sat upon his throne, his single eye glowing faintly — as if piercing through the very fabric of the universe itself. With a motion of his hand, the Eternal Spear, Gungnir, rose from its resting place and flew swiftly into his grasp.

“My lord, All-Father Odin, what has happened?”

Queen Frigga approached gracefully, her every step calm and measured. Seeing the grim expression on Odin’s face, her brows furrowed with worry.

“Hmph. Your two sons have trespassed into Jotunheim,” Odin said coldly, his voice filled with both anger and disappointment.

“Thor and Loki… broke into Jotunheim?”

Frigga’s eyes widened. Though a powerful sorceress capable of divination, she had long since abandoned her prophetic arts after becoming Queen of Asgard. Yet upon hearing Odin’s words, unease washed over her heart.

“Thor’s recklessness has gone too far,” Odin muttered heavily. “When I bring him back, I’ll see to it he learns restraint. My Odinsleep draws near…”

He exhaled deeply, his tone softening. “Frigga, they will be in your care once they return.”

Odin clasped her hand briefly — a rare display of tenderness — before striding toward the Rainbow Bridge.

“Heimdall! Open the Bifrost!”

An eight-legged steed — Sleipnir — galloped forth from the stables of Asgard, stopping before the bridge in a burst of golden mist. Odin mounted, Gungnir in hand, his voice thunderous with command.

“Yes, great and honorable All-Father,” Heimdall replied, kneeling on one knee before rising to activate the Bifrost.

Boom!

A cascade of rainbow light erupted, spreading across the heavens. Within it, Sleipnir charged at blinding speed. The distance that took Thor and his companions ten minutes to cross was covered by Odin’s divine steed in mere moments.

Jotunheim.

In the frozen wasteland, Frost Giants surrounded Allens — who still wore the form of Loki. His calm smile and mocking expression made Thor and the others uneasy.

“Prince of Asgard,” Laufey called out coldly, “surrender to me, and I shall spare your life.”

He did not attack immediately — instead, he was stalling for time. Ever since witnessing Allens’ skin turn blue from the cold, Laufey had been convinced that this “Loki” before him was indeed his lost son. And if he wished to strike at Asgard, Loki’s help would be invaluable.

“Sir, the temporal clock predicts the future,” J.A.R.V.I.S. reported in Allens’ ear.

Allens’ cold gaze swept across the Frost Giants. Subtle holographic images flickered before his eyes as his hyper-intelligence processed every possible outcome a thousand times faster than a normal mind.

“So… Odin’s finally on his way,” Allens murmured. “Good. Time for the next act.”

“I am the Prince of Asgard!” he declared, voice ringing with conviction. “The Aesir will never submit!”

With a fierce shout, Allens lunged toward a nearby Frost Giant, dagger in hand. The giant caught his wrist and tried to hurl him away, but in midair, Allens twisted effortlessly — forming another dagger in his left hand — and slashed clean across the giant’s throat.

“Kill him!” Laufey roared, his eyes flashing coldly.

Countless Frost Giants charged.

Boom!

Before they could reach Allens, a blinding wave of rainbow light crashed down from the heavens. The shockwave sent the Frost Giants flying in all directions.

The Bifrost had arrived.

Sleipnir neighed as Odin emerged from the beam, clad in his golden armor. His single eye glared down at Laufey with divine authority.

“All-Father Odin,” Laufey said with feigned humility, bowing low. “King of Jotunheim pays you his most sincere respect.”

Despite his reverence, a faint bitterness lingered beneath his words. Laufey still remembered the day Odin had defeated him — and the child he had lost.

Odin ignored him. He raised Gungnir, and the Eternal Spear shot forth with divine force, piercing through the thick ice encasing Thor and his companions. The prison shattered into glittering shards.

“Father Odin!” Laufey’s voice boomed. “Your sons invaded Jotunheim without permission, tore apart the peace treaty between our realms, and slaughtered my people! As the ruler of the Nine Realms, surely you owe me an explanation!”

Odin’s eye hardened. Before he could speak, Thor stepped forward, his temper flaring.

“Father, this bastard’s lying! He set us up — he knew we were coming! Let’s wage war and crush these Frost Giants once and for all!”

“Silence, Thor Odinson!” Odin roared, his voice echoing like thunder.

Thor froze as the All-Father’s glare burned into him.

“Laufey,” Odin said coldly, “you will have your explanation.”

A faint smirk tugged at Laufey’s lips. Though Odin hadn’t explicitly stated his intentions, Laufey could tell from his tone — the All-Father wished to avoid war.

“Loki, you did well this time,” Odin said suddenly, turning to Allens.

His gaze lingered longer than usual. It wasn’t suspicion — Odin hadn’t seen through Allens’ disguise — but rather unease. Deep within, a strange sense of foreboding gnawed at him, one tied to his sons… though he could not yet understand why.

“Heimdall,” Odin commanded, “open the Bifrost.”

A brilliant beam of rainbow light enveloped them once more, lifting Odin, Thor, and the disguised Allens into its radiance — separating them from the Frost Giants below.

“Finally… returning to Asgard,” Allens murmured, his eyes glinting faintly. He glanced at Thor beside him, then at Odin on Sleipnir, a subtle smile curling at his lips.

Chapter 153 Allens: I, The Evil God Loki

Boom!

In Jotunheim, in front of a towering ice wall, a deafening roar echoed. A massive wave of ice surged upward from the ground, rising even higher than the ice wall itself.

“Shit, what’s going on!?”

King Laufey, seated on his Frozen Throne, suddenly stood up, shock flashing across his face. An icy aura radiated from his massive body, so cold that even Thor and the others frozen before him were momentarily forgotten.

“Haus, what happened?”

King Laufey turned to a thinner, sharp-faced Frost Giant beside him. The frost giant, Haus, was an ice magician — his status among their kind comparable to that of a powerful sorcerer in Asgard.

“King Laufey, our troops have been wiped out.”

Haus frowned slightly, raising his right hand as he conjured a spell. A mirror of ice appeared before them, reflecting everything that had happened moments earlier.

In the icy surface, they saw Loki, the God of Mischief, fighting their warriors. Loki’s illusion magic and trickery allowed him to outsmart and slaughter the Frost Giants one by one. In just a short time, they were all dead.

“My son Loki… I’ll tear you to pieces,” Laufey growled. His fist clenched tightly, frost gathering in his palm.

“Haus, bring me that damned god Loki!”

Laufey’s teeth ground audibly. He had believed his plan flawless — betraying his former ally, the God of Mischief, to gain power. Yet now, that very same Loki had turned his plan to ruin.

“Hahaha! That’s my brother Loki! He really showed them who’s boss!”

Even frozen solid in ice, Thor laughed heartily, pride glowing in his eyes.

“The God of Mischief truly lives up to his name,” one of the Warriors Three muttered. Even they, who often looked down on Loki, couldn’t help but admit his cunning was impressive.

“Guys… am I the only one who thinks something’s off?”

Sif frowned slightly, her sharp gaze darting between the frozen Asgardians. But before she could finish speaking, the air before them shimmered.

Space twisted — and Loki appeared.

He stood tall in his green and gold armor, the twin horned helmet gleaming atop his head. The dagger in his right hand shimmered faintly with divine power.

“Hey there, little frostlings of Jotunheim,” Loki sneered. “Aside from being cold, do you have any other skills?”

His words ignited a fury among the Frost Giants. One of them roared and charged straight at him.

Slash!

The giant formed an icy blade in his right hand and stabbed through Loki’s chest — but to his horror, his arm passed through as if through mist.

Tsk.

As the Frost Giant froze in disbelief, a blade pierced his own chest from behind. Blood splattered across the frozen ground — and another Loki stepped out from the shadows.

“Sir, phantom magic data established. Analysis of the model will take some time,” J.A.R.V.I.S.’s voice echoed in Loki’s ear.

A smirk curled on Loki’s — no, Allens’ — lips. That’s right. This “Loki” was actually Allens in disguise.

After freezing the Frost Giants earlier, Allens had cut into the real Loki’s mind, absorbing not only his magic but also his divine power — and even his Frost Giant physiology.

Though not as strong as Thor’s Asgardian body, it was far superior to any human’s. Even if struck by the Hulk’s punch, Allens would barely flinch. His physical strength now exceeded hundreds of tons.

But the greatest gain was the divine energy flowing within him. If he picked up Mjolnir now, he could channel that divine power and truly wield it — becoming the new God of Thunder.

Even more unexpectedly, the Mind Stone embedded in his forehead began to glow faintly yellow once again. Though dim, it was enough to amplify his mental strength even further.

“Loki, the so-called God of Mischief… a Frost Giant by birth, son of Laufey,” Allens thought coldly. “He inherited the magic of the Aesir, combined with the bloodline of the Frost Clan. Interesting.”

His smirk mirrored Loki’s perfectly — his shapeshifting ability even allowed him to access Loki’s recent memories, making his impersonation flawless.

“Hey, my dear brother,” he said, turning toward the frozen Thor. “I warned you not to rush in so recklessly. But you never listen.”

“Damn trickster! I’ll rip you apart!”

Haus, the Frost Magician, finally lost his temper. A sphere of condensed ice formed in his palm. In a flash, he teleported behind “Loki” and thrust the freezing orb forward.

Boom!

The blast hurled Allens backward. Even Thor couldn’t withstand that level of cold — yet, strangely, Allens’ body showed no sign of harm. Only a faint blue hue began to spread across his back, his skin taking on the tone of a Frost Giant.

“Haus, stop!” Laufey shouted sharply.

He had seen the change — that icy blue skin. Recognition flickered in his ancient eyes. Long ago, after his defeat in war, Odin had taken his infant son. And now, seeing the color of Allens’ flesh, Laufey knew — that son was Loki.

“Loki, my son,” Laufey said, his cold voice trembling faintly. “Submit to me, and you will have everything.”

With a wave of his hand, countless Frost Giants surrounded Allens — but they didn’t attack. They were under Laufey’s command, awaiting his next order.

“Surrender?” Allens’ eyes flashed with mockery. “I’m here to rescue my brother. Asgard bows to no one — least of all to you.”

He spoke with righteous fury, perfectly mimicking Loki’s tone. Laufey hesitated, momentarily unsure.

“Very well,” the Frost King growled. “Let’s see what you’re truly capable of.”

He strode forward, seizing Allens’ right arm. The icy chill that would have frozen any mortal didn’t affect Allens in the slightest. Instead, the faint blue tone of his skin reassured Laufey — enough for him to loosen his grip.

Chapter 1,058 Completely Dominating The Game

The football traced a proud arc through the air, flying toward the opponent’s goal.

The audience held their breath, every eye locked on the ball as it soared toward the crossbar.

But just when everyone was about to cheer, the football struck the crossbar hard and bounced back into play.

Su Luo reacted instantly. He followed up alertly, ready for a second shot.

Time seemed to freeze for a moment. Then, with a sharp clang, Su Luo swung his leg and fired the ball powerfully into the back of the net.

Cheers once again erupted throughout Griffin Stadium. The crowd could no longer contain their excitement and joy.

Dortmund extended their lead to 4–0, completely taking control of the match.

Hagen turned and smiled proudly.
He knew that his quick decision-making had been key to that goal — his sharp judgment had made the difference at a crucial moment.

Meanwhile, Su Luo stood at midfield, confidently raising his hands in a victory gesture to the roaring crowd.

In his eyes, nothing was impossible on the football field.
He understood how vital the team’s chemistry was — every player giving their all to maximize that perfect cooperation.

Outside the stadium stands, after Su Luo’s brilliant goal, a wave of cheers burst out once more.

Hundreds of supporters stood up and began singing chants of encouragement. Though their voices were almost drowned out by the roars from inside the arena, their passion still spread across the stadium like wildfire.

The Dortmund players could feel the crowd’s unrestrained enthusiasm.
The thrill of impending victory surged through their veins.

Every player stayed focused, maintaining full concentration and calmly handling each of the opponent’s desperate counterattacks.

Robert and Hagen showed flawless understanding in defense, coordinating perfectly and striking back at key moments — frustrating every effort the opponents made to advance.

Su Luo, as the captain and leader, orchestrated everything on the field. His teammates moved in sync behind him, following his guidance. With every sharp, precise pass, he initiated new waves of attack.

This was Dortmund’s golden teamwork — a symphony of mutual support and complete trust across every position. It was the foundation that allowed them to crush any opponent.

The fans were completely immersed in the game, their eyes wide as they followed every movement on the pitch.

They cheered endlessly for their team, voices rising and falling like thunder.

No matter the score or the weather, these loyal supporters were always there — standing strong behind their beloved team.

This was the spirit of Dortmund: unity and cooperation.

Whether they were players or fans, everyone expressed their passion and devotion to football in their own way.

Su Luo stood tall on the Dortmund pitch, clad in his bright yellow jersey, facing the relentless pressure of the opposing side.

He used his superb skill and experience to keep the team steady, shouting commands and guiding his teammates to stay organized on defense.

Robert and Hagen worked together seamlessly, like the gears of a precision machine, countering every opponent’s attack from both flanks.

Every move reflected their deep understanding and trust in one another.

Su Luo’s leadership had become the backbone of the entire Dortmund squad — a force his teammates admired and relied on completely.

He led the team forward with both strength and composure, fierce in attack and firm in defense.

On the field, Su Luo shone brilliantly — his ball control nearly flawless, his passes pinpoint accurate.
Every touch he made was elegant and masterful.

Chapter 1057: Elegant Ball Control

The crowd behind Su Luo erupted with excitement.

Screams echoed through Griffin Stadium, and waves of cheers surged like a roaring tide.

Dortmund supporters slapped their seats, waved scarves and flags, and raised their arms high while chanting Su Luo’s name.

Su Luo continued to display his astonishing personal ability, constantly breaking through the opponent’s defensive line early in the second half and posing a tremendous threat to their goal.

His speed and agility left the opposing defenders helpless — they could only watch as he dashed toward the net.

Robert and Hagen also gave Su Luo their full support on the field. Their seamless cooperation made Dortmund’s offense even more ferocious.

At one point, Robert intercepted the ball from an opponent and quickly passed it to Su Luo. Su Luo once again sliced through the defense at a jaw-dropping pace.

Emily, watching nervously from the sidelines, clutched her scarf tightly as her eyes followed Su Luo’s graceful run toward the goal.

A spark of expectation and excitement ignited in her heart. At this critical moment, she truly felt that victory was within reach.

As Dortmund’s captain, Hagen could sense that the team had formed a powerful and unstoppable momentum.
He had full confidence in his teammates and believed they would not let down the expectations surrounding this match.

Every player had poured their sweat and effort into this game — failure was simply not an option.

As the match entered its final stage, Su Luo once again charged past the defenders with the ball at his feet. The fans could almost taste victory.

The cheers in the stadium grew louder and louder. Supporters raised their arms and shouted Su Luo’s name as flags and scarves waved in a sea of yellow and black.

Su Luo received a pass from Robert, his body swaying as he suddenly accelerated, sprinting sharply down the right flank.

The opposing defenders froze for a split second before trying to chase him, but Su Luo was already far ahead.

In the next instant, Su Luo’s sharp eyes scanned the pitch.
He spotted Hagen waiting in the box for the perfect moment.

Without hesitation, Su Luo demonstrated his intelligence and teamwork.
He sent a precise pass across the field, and the ball landed perfectly at Hagen’s feet.

Hagen seized the moment and fired decisively before the defender could react — sending the ball straight into the net.

The long-awaited roar from the Dortmund fans shook the entire stadium as the crowd erupted in pure joy, waving scarves and flags wildly in celebration.

This goal not only extended Dortmund’s lead to 3–0, but more importantly, it showcased the team’s flawless chemistry and collective strength.

Standing at midfield, Su Luo raised his arms toward the sky to celebrate.
His calm yet confident expression revealed the unwavering belief he had in himself and his teammates.

That third goal solidified their certainty of victory.

Robert patted Su Luo’s shoulder affectionately, full of admiration for Su Luo’s versatile technical skill and creative passing.
At that moment, he felt deeply proud of his decision to join Dortmund.

The game continued, and Dortmund firmly controlled the tempo.

The close cooperation between Su Luo, Robert, and Hagen completely exhausted the opposing defense.

Shots came one after another in front of the goal, leaving the rival goalkeeper helpless as he could only watch the ball fly past him again and again.

Su Luo crossed the midfield, his eyes constantly tracking every movement on the field.

Hagen then received a back pass. Without stopping the ball, he stepped forward decisively and unleashed a powerful long-range shot—

Chapter 30

“Cooperation!”

When Thor declared that the Chitauri would never submit to Loki, Nick Fury responded firmly,
“Perhaps there’s something on Earth the Chitauri want. That could be why they chose to cooperate with Loki.”

He continued, “The Chitauri help Loki conquer Earth and make him king, and in return, Loki gives them whatever it is they desire.”

Tony Stark, standing nearby, frowned. “So… what could the Chitauri possibly want from Earth? Resources, maybe? Could it be that their home planet’s running dry?”

Before Tony could finish, Steve Rogers interrupted, “No—it’s the Cosmic Cube.”

Everyone turned toward him as he continued, “Seventy years ago, I fought the Red Skull. When I crashed the Valkyrie into the Arctic, the Cube burned through the plane and fell into the ocean. I don’t know where it ended up, but one thing’s certain—it’s still on Earth.”

“In that video we just watched, the Chitauri were ultimately defeated by us working together, and Thor took Loki and the Cosmic Cube back to Asgard. That means their real goal was the Cube—but their invasion failed.”

After Captain America’s analysis, everyone nodded in agreement.

Even Tony Stark, who rarely missed a chance to tease him, muttered a compliment—something along the lines of, “Guess your brain didn’t freeze solid after seventy years in ice.”
Steve, of course, didn’t find that amusing.

Nick Fury fell silent at the mention of the Cosmic Cube. He knew all too well that the Tesseract was currently housed at S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Dark Matter Research Base. Scientists were studying it—hoping to replicate its power to create advanced weapons.

Noticing Fury’s expression, Natasha narrowed her eyes. She could tell he was hiding something.

So she spoke up, summarizing calmly, “Let’s see if I’ve got this right. Loki framed Thor, causing Odin to exile him. Then Loki took the opportunity to assassinate the Frost Giant King, Laufey. For some unknown reason, he later joined forces with the Chitauri and invaded Earth, trying to seize the Cosmic Cube—but failed, and was imprisoned afterward.”

“While Loki was imprisoned, Thor’s mother, Frigga, was killed by the Dark Elves. To avenge her, Thor decided to team up with Loki.”

“The only thing unclear now is when this video takes place.”

Natasha frowned slightly. “Also, why did Thor have short hair and one eye missing? Did the Dark Elves do that to him? And who was that man strangling Loki at the end?”

She turned to look at the others. “And one more thing—in the final scene, Loki was taken away by Thor, yet another Loki appeared beside Linen wearing a uniform with the letters ‘TVA.’ What kind of organization is that?”

“And Loki mentioned leaving a surprise for Linen in Pompeii—an Infinity Stone. That connects to the other video we saw earlier. But the question is: how could Linen travel back in time to Pompeii, thousands of years in the past?”

She paused, her expression growing serious. “And the most confusing part—what does ‘The Appearance of God’ mean? Why is it more important than the lives of billions of people?”

As Natasha finished her breakdown, Tony Stark leaned back in his chair, arms crossed.
“Who knows? Maybe someday we’ll figure out time travel—like in Back to the Future.

“But the number of these videos is still too small to pinpoint any exact timeline.”

“One thing’s for sure, though—the Chitauri will invade Earth under Loki’s command in the future. We’d better start preparing now!”

[System Notification: Cinema Hall upgraded to Level 3]

The sudden voice startled everyone.

Tony blinked. “The cinema hall just leveled up? Why? Because we talked about it together?”

Nick Fury nodded. “It’s possible. The same thing happened last time.”

Then he turned to Natasha. “By the way, how’s your investigation on Wanda Maximoff going? She’s the only one with a spoiler system we haven’t identified yet.”

Natasha shook her head. “No solid leads yet. I checked the global database—there are many Wandas, but the only one with the surname Maximoff is in Sokovia, Eastern Europe.”

“There’s been a civil war there. Wanda Maximoff and her brother, Pietro Maximoff, both went missing during the conflict. Their home was destroyed, and they’ve been displaced ever since.”

She looked over at Tony. “Also, I had S.H.I.E.L.D. agents investigate Sokovia. During the war, many of the rebels’ weapons had Stark Industries logos on them.”

Everyone turned toward Tony. He raised his hands defensively.
“Hey, that wasn’t me. Those were weapons Obadiah Stane sold through his private black-market channels.”

Nick raised an eyebrow. Tony continued, “Speaking of Stane—Linen’s research was funded by a charity foundation Stane established. So there’s that.”

Tony stood up and stretched. “Anyway, Natasha, that ritual to summon the demon—is it happening tomorrow?”

“Yeah,” Natasha replied coldly.

“Alright then. I’ll head back to New York. Vampires, blood slaves, and demon cultists, huh? I can’t wait to meet those bastards.”

Natasha nodded slightly.
She had already agreed to go with Linen tomorrow—to deal with those monsters who imprisoned children, forced them to eat human flesh, and slaughtered innocents in their dark sacrifices.

Chapter 29

After the video ended, everyone walked out of the theater.

Thor, who had been excited and cheerful at first, now looked grim and tense.

“Natasha,” he said solemnly, “take me to New Mexico. I must find a way to lift my hammer and return to Asgard!”

Seeing Thor’s serious expression, Natasha replied calmly, “No problem. But before that, we need to analyze the video we just watched.”

Thor frowned impatiently. “What’s there to analyze? My mother was killed by the Dark Elves, and Loki was strangled by that purple-skinned monster. I have to—”

“Thor, calm down!” Natasha cut him off sharply.

Seeing Thor’s face twisted with anger, she continued, “The videos we saw are all about the future. Since we already know what’s going to happen, we can find a way to prevent it. But if you only know the result without understanding the cause, no matter what you do, you might still end up with the same ending.”

She paused and added bluntly, “Besides, even if you rush to New Mexico right now, you still can’t lift your hammer, can you?”

Thor’s shoulders slumped. His anger faded into frustration as he sat down heavily in a chair.

“I can’t believe Asgard will face so many tragedies in the future… my mother, and even Loki…”

Natasha gently patted his shoulder in comfort before opening her laptop.

Moments later, a video call connected—Tony Stark, Nick Fury, and Steve Rogers appeared on the screen.

Steve looked a bit startled. “Good morning,” Natasha greeted. “Captain Rogers, welcome back to the world—seventy years later.”

“Thank you,” Steve replied politely, glancing around. “The technology of this era is truly impressive.”

Tony smirked. “Of course. In the seventy years you spent as a popsicle, the world’s tech evolved faster than your vintage moral compass could imagine.”

Then he added, “By the way, Natasha—what’s going on with Thor?”

Natasha explained everything that had just happened.

Tony nodded. “Good job, Natasha. Even if Thor went to New Mexico right now, it wouldn’t change a thing.”

Nick Fury then spoke, his one eye fixed on Thor. “Thor, from what we’ve seen, your exile to Earth was orchestrated by your brother, Loki.”

Thor took a deep breath and shook his head. “I don’t care whether I was exiled because of Loki’s schemes. I just want to save my mother—and Loki—in the future.”

Nick Fury nodded slightly. “Loki’s plot to exile you stemmed from jealousy. But according to the video, during that same time, he also planned to assassinate his real father—the Frost Giant King, Laufey.”

“Tell me, Thor,” Fury continued, “is Laufey an enemy of Asgard?”

“To be precise,” Thor said firmly, “he’s Asgard’s greatest enemy.”

He went on to explain briefly, “I was exiled by my father’s anger after I led warriors to Jotunheim without permission.”

At that, Steve Rogers, who had been listening silently, finally spoke up. “I may not know the laws of Asgard, but from what I’ve seen, Loki’s actions had mixed results. Yes, he exiled you, but he also helped Asgard eliminate its biggest enemy. From his perspective, maybe he just wanted his father’s approval—to prove that whatever you could do, he could do too.”

He looked at Thor seriously. “But in the video, Loki was imprisoned. According to Asgard’s laws, would he really be jailed for that?”

“Of course not!” Thor replied immediately. “Even though Loki wanted to destroy Jotunheim and kill the Frost Giants, he didn’t succeed. And…” Thor suddenly sat up straight, eyes narrowing. “I understand what you mean, Captain. Loki wouldn’t be imprisoned for that reason—unless something else happened that we don’t yet know.”

Nick Fury crossed his arms. “So what did happen?”

Natasha answered before Thor could speak. “It’s probably related to Earth. In the second half of the video, Loki said that taking him to Earth wasn’t a good idea because people there already hated him. That must mean he caused serious trouble on Earth before he was captured.”

Thor nodded slowly. “That’s possible. Asgard has always been responsible for protecting the Nine Realms—and Midgard, or Earth, is at the center of that protection. If Loki attacked Earth, then yes, imprisoning him would make sense.”

He frowned deeply. “But what exactly did he do to the Earth? The video didn’t explain that.”

“No,” Fury said, “it actually did.”

Everyone turned toward him.

“In the last part of the video, we saw New York in ruins, alien corpses everywhere. And you, Thor, returned to Asgard with Loki in chains. That means Loki led an alien invasion of Earth.”

Thor’s eyes widened. “Invade the Earth? But why? Don’t misunderstand me—compared to Asgard, the people of Earth are… weak. The planet itself holds little value. Unless…”

He hesitated, then muttered, “Unless Loki wanted to make himself king of Earth.”

Steve frowned. “But what about those aliens—the Chitauri? Why would they follow him?”

Thor shook his head. “The Chitauri may be among the weaker races of the universe, but they’re still far stronger than humans. Their king and the Grand Wizard of their empire would never hand command of their army to Loki… not unless someone even more powerful was backing him.”

Chapter 28

In the video—

Thor watched as the raft carrying his mother drifted farther and farther away, engulfed in flames. His eyes were filled with grief and rage. Without another word, he turned and left.

Inside the prison cell of Asgard—

“Well, well, isn’t this my mighty brother? What brings you here all of a sudden? You know, this is the first time you’ve come to visit me since I was locked up,” Loki said mockingly, his usual elegance and charm masking his smirk.

Thor, his expression cold and distant, said flatly, “Loki, drop your illusion.”

Loki froze for a moment before his illusion shimmered away in green light. The cell’s true appearance was revealed—chaotic and broken. Loki leaned weakly against the wall, blood at his feet, his face pale and worn.

“Was Mother at peace when she passed?” he asked quietly.

Thor removed his hood. “I’m going to the realm of the Dark Elves… to avenge her.”

“Loki, you’ve betrayed me countless times. But this time… can I trust you? For Mother’s sake.”

Loki’s eyes glinted with fury and pain. “You can trust my anger.”

“Dark Elves?”
Watching the scene in the video, Thor’s trembling hands slowly clenched into fists. “Those Dark Elves killed my mother? Damn it! I’ll slaughter every last one of them so they can never harm her again!”

Having made up his mind, Thor decided that once the video ended, he would go to New Mexico, reclaim his hammer, return to Asgard—and annihilate the Dark Elves himself.

The video continued playing.

Inside a massive battleship, Loki glanced at Thor. “Are you sure you want to bring me to Earth? I don’t think that’s wise. After all, considering what I’ve done there… they don’t exactly like me.”

Thor chuckled and patted Loki’s shoulder.

But before long, a gigantic ship suddenly attacked their vessel.

The scene shifted—bodies of Asgardian soldiers lay everywhere, and Thor, his hair now cut short, was held helplessly by the Mad Titan.

“Hand over the Tesseract,” Thanos demanded. “Or I’ll crush your brother’s skull.”

Loki, standing before the Titan, forced a calm smile. “Go ahead. Kill him.”

Thanos’ expression flickered with mild surprise before he pressed the Power Stone against Thor’s head. Purple energy surged, and Thor screamed in agony.

Just as his head was about to burst apart, Loki could no longer hold back. “Enough! Stop it!” he shouted desperately. “The Tesseract isn’t here—it was destroyed along with Asgard!”

But before Thor could react, Loki raised his hand, conjuring his magic. The Tesseract appeared out of thin air.

Seeing it, Thor spat blood and glared weakly at his brother. “You… really are the worst brother…”

Loki’s expression softened. “I promise you, brother—the sun will shine on Asgard again.”

The camera cut.

Loki stood before Thanos once more, seemingly kneeling in submission. But behind his back, his hand glowed as he formed a dagger from pure magic.

“I, Loki, Prince of Asgard, Son of Odin, rightful King of Jotunheim… God of Mischief.”
He turned to glance at Thor, eyes filled with resolve.
“I offer you my undying loyalty…”

In a flash, Loki lunged—aiming the dagger at Thanos’ throat.

But the blade froze in midair, stopped by the power of the Infinity Stone.

“Undying?” Thanos sneered, grabbing Loki by the neck and lifting him effortlessly. “You should choose your words more carefully.”

“You’ll… never be… a god…” Loki choked out.

With a sickening snap, Thanos broke Loki’s neck and dropped his body to the ground like garbage.

“No!!!” Thor roared, leaping from his seat in the theater.

In that moment, he no longer cared that Loki was adopted. He no longer cared about the betrayals.
All he saw was his brother—murdered before his eyes.

In another theater—

Natasha frowned deeply as the footage played.

“What exactly did Loki do to make Earth hate him?” she muttered.

And Thor—his hair was short in the video. What had happened between then and now?

When Nick Fury brought Thor to Washington and assigned him to me, I even offered to help him get his hair trimmed, but he refused—said no one could touch his hair!

And now… he’s wearing an eyepatch? Did someone actually blind him?

There were too many details—too many mysteries. Natasha wished she could record it all.

The video reached its end.

On-screen, the streets of Manhattan were in ruins. Alien corpses littered the ground.

Thor, holding Loki in chains, nodded to the others before vanishing in the light of the Bifröst.

Tony Stark looked around the team. “Well, folks, the Battle of New York is finally over. We beat the alien invasion. I gotta say, that was intense—I almost didn’t make it back from that wormhole.”

He straightened his tie and added casually, “Anyway, I ordered some shawarma. Let’s go grab a bite. Wait… where’s Linen?”

Everyone exchanged glances.

“Linen was just here,” Natasha said. “I’ll go find her.”

In a nearby shop—

Linen watched Thor and Loki vanish, then removed the Judge’s mask from her face. “Why did you come looking for me?” she asked quietly to the empty air.

“Because only you can understand all of this.”

A faint green light flickered behind her, and Loki appeared, wearing a TVA insignia on his chest.

“To be honest,” he said, “I really wanted to use this chance to see my mother again. But I can’t. Even though I miss her dearly.”

“My mother was raised by a witch. The moment she looks into my soul, she’ll know I’m not the Loki from this timeline.”

“So, Linen,” Loki continued with a faint smile, “I’ll leave it to you—to save her from the Dark Elves in the future.”

He spread his arms wide, his tone teasing again. “As a thank-you, I’ve prepared a little surprise for you—on the day Pompeii meets its end. A gift… an Infinity Stone.”

“Oh, and one more thing—let Thanos snap his fingers. Let it happen. It’s fate. I know billions will die… but that act will delay the arrival of ‘God.’”

“And you, Linen—you’ll have the power to bring them all back.”

Loki turned to leave, pausing for just a moment. “Your friend’s coming. See you next time.”

With that, he vanished into thin air.

Natasha appeared moments later. “What are you doing here? Tony’s already waiting with shawarma. After a fight like that, we could all use a meal.”

Linen nodded silently, following her out.

The video ended, and the theater lights flickered back on.

Natasha, however, didn’t move from her seat.

“It all connects…” she whispered. “It’s just like the last video. No wonder Linen said she could stop the Snap but chose not to.”

“But what exactly is this ‘God’s Appearance’? Could it really be something worse than losing billions of lives?”

Chapter 27

As the theater darkened, the massive screen in front of them slowly lit up.

In the video, Loki stood before a gate shimmering with green energy. He turned around, a faint smile on his face, his eyes filled with both freedom and understanding.

“I, Loki, Prince of Asgard, son of Odin… finally know what kind of god I want to become. For you, and for everyone.”

Seeing the figure in the video, Thor, who had been watching curiously, suddenly stood up.

“Loki?” he blurted out.

He looked around and laughed heartily. “Odin! Is this showing Loki’s future? He said he finally knows what kind of god he’ll be? Hah! I didn’t expect my brother to actually become a god. As expected of Loki—he truly is my brother!”

But before Thor could finish laughing, the scene shifted.

Now, Thor was seen holding Mjolnir, facing off against Loki, who wielded the Eternal Spear.

Thor’s smile froze instantly. “What… what’s going on?” he muttered, frowning.

The video continued.

Thor, gripping his hammer, was knocked to the ground by Loki’s attack. Yet, instead of fighting back, he looked up and said calmly,

“I will not fight you, Loki. Give up this ambition!”

“Ambition?” Loki roared furiously. “I never wanted to sit on that throne!”

With eyes burning with resentment, Loki glared at Thor.

“All I ever wanted was to be treated the same as you! Father’s eyes have always been on you! Sif and the Warriors Three have always followed you! No matter what mistakes you made, everyone still adored you! Even the loudest cheers from the soldiers of Asgard—were always for you!”

He swung the Eternal Spear again, blasting Thor back toward the Rainbow Bridge.

“I am also a prince of Asgard! So why does everyone only look at you?” Loki roared.
“I’ve fought countless battles for Asgard! I’ve defeated our enemies! But in everyone’s eyes, I’m just your shadow. No matter what I do, I’ll never be praised!”

“Even my father—”

“Loki…” Thor began, his voice trembling.

“Shut up!” Loki screamed.

He lunged forward again, the Eternal Spear in hand. Thor refused to fight back, allowing Loki to strike him again and again across the Rainbow Bridge.

“I was the one who tricked Father into exiling you to Earth! I killed Laufey to protect Asgard and our father!
I did it not for the throne—but to prove to him that if you can do it, then so can I! I deserve his love just as much as you!”

“Brother…” Thor muttered weakly.

“Shut up! I’m not your brother! Never was!” Loki shouted, his eyes red. A bitter, twisted smile spread across his face.

“Now I understand why Father told us as children that we were both born to be kings—but he always favored you. Because I was never his son. I am the son of the Frost Giant Laufey… a monster he brought home as a trophy!”

Then, with rage in his eyes, Loki turned and aimed the Eternal Spear at the control panel of the Rainbow Bridge.

“I’ll prove to him that I am worthy of his love…”

“No, Loki!”

Thor, who had endured every blow without fighting back, suddenly charged forward, Mjolnir in hand, to stop him.

Watching the scene unfold, Thor sat in stunned silence.

His thoughts were a storm.
It wasn’t about Loki’s schemes to exile him to Earth.
It wasn’t even about Loki killing Laufey or saving Asgard.

It was the revelation that hit hardest—
Loki wasn’t his biological brother.
He was Laufey’s son.

“Odin… how is that even possible?” Thor whispered to himself, his voice trembling.

He took deep breaths, forcing himself not to lose control in the theater. The last thing he wanted was to be kicked out again. But no matter how hard he tried, the feeling of disbelief wouldn’t fade.

Finally, Thor steadied himself and looked back at the glowing screen.

The video shifted again.

Now, Loki sat imprisoned in the dungeons of Asgard. His mother, Frigga, appeared, walking toward him gently.

Thor’s expression softened. Watching his mother visit Loki filled him with a heavy sadness.

But then the scene changed—
Frigga was struck down by a monster’s blade.
Thor arrived too late.

“No… no, this is impossible!” Thor shouted, jumping to his feet, his eyes wide with panic. “How could my mother be killed? This can’t be real!”

The video continued mercilessly.

Frigga’s body was placed on a golden raft, floating down the river. Odin stood solemnly on the riverbank, drawing his bow. With a single flaming arrow, he sent her spirit to Valhalla.

Hundreds of arrows lit the sky, their flames escorting Frigga on her final journey.

Thor sank back into his seat, tears welling in his eyes.

“This is impossible… how could my mother die…” he whispered brokenly.

Then his expression hardened. “No. I have the Spoiler System. That means I can change this future. I can save my mother. I will not let that monster kill her!”

He repeated it again and again, as if convincing himself.

“Yes… I can do it. I will stop the tragedy from happening.”

Thor took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down. He turned back toward the screen, his jaw clenched—
but he didn’t notice that his hands, gripping the armrests, were trembling uncontrollably.

Chapter 26

Washington, S.H.I.E.L.D. Medical Center

As Steve Rogers stepped out of the examination room, Nick Fury approached the doctor and asked,
“How’s Captain Rogers’ condition?”

“No problems at all, sir,” the doctor replied. “I can only say he truly deserves to be called the legendary Captain America. It’s hard to believe that after being frozen for nearly seventy years, his body is completely fine!”

Hearing that, Tony Stark smirked from the side.
“Wow, the antiques from the last century are really durable—just like my father’s old car.”

“Hey, Mr. Antique,” Tony continued with a grin, “want me to find my dad’s car and give it to you? A man from the last century would go perfectly with a car from the last century. Of course, that’s assuming you still remember how to start it!”

Steve sighed helplessly at Tony’s teasing.
If he didn’t know the man in front of him was Howard Stark’s son, he might’ve already punched him just to shut that mouth. Even Howard wasn’t this annoying back in the day.

“That’s enough, Tony.”
Nick Fury finally interrupted before Tony could go any further.
“Captain Rogers, is there anything you need right now?”

“Need?” Steve repeated quietly. He took a deep breath, staring at the city’s tall glass buildings. A complicated look flashed across his face before he gently shook his head.

After a moment, he turned back to Fury. “I want to go home.”

“Of course,” Fury said with a faint smile. “Your apartment in Brooklyn has always been kept vacant. Ever since we found you in the Arctic, we’ve renovated it to match its original design. Although it’s not quite the same as seventy years ago, I believe—”

Before Fury could finish his sentence, a familiar system prompt suddenly echoed in everyone’s minds:

[Notice: A new video has been generated. Please enter the viewing room within five minutes.]
[New candidate added: Steve Rogers!]

As the “Spoiler System” announcement rang out, both Tony Stark and Nick Fury instinctively turned to Steve Rogers, who looked utterly confused.

The sudden voice startled Steve. Just as he was about to ask what this “Spoiler System” was, Fury said quickly,
“Captain Rogers, come to my office. Tony and I will explain everything.”

Without another word, Fury and Tony escorted him into the elevator.

Watching the three disappear, the doctor who had examined Steve quietly pulled out his phone and dialed a number.

After a brief moment, a voice on the other end answered.
“Sir, I’ve finished the examination. Steve Rogers is in perfect health.”

“You didn’t do anything, did you?”

“No, sir.”

“That’s good. Steve Rogers is Nick Fury’s golden boy right now. If we tried anything, Fury would notice immediately. He’s just an outdated relic—no real threat. But maybe… we can use him.”

“Next, Fury will probably have you conduct regular checkups. Remember—don’t do anything extra.”

“Understood, sir.”

After hanging up, the doctor turned toward the saliva and blood samples collected from Steve. He hesitated for a few seconds before picking them up and tossing them into a micro-shredder.

As the samples were destroyed, he sighed with a hint of regret.
If only he could study them… perhaps he could’ve mass-produced a new generation of super soldiers.

Meanwhile, in New York.

“Remember,” Natasha warned sternly, “don’t cause a scene this time after entering the theater. I don’t know what’ll happen if you disrupt the session again, but if the Spoiler System decides you broke the rules, you’ll lose access to it. And trust me, you’d be the one suffering the most.”

Thor chuckled heartily. “Relax, Widow. I finally understand what this Spoiler System is. I won’t go smashing things like last time. Besides, I’m curious to see the future you’ve been talking about.”

With that, Thor confidently entered the theater. Natasha frowned, hoping he wouldn’t repeat his reckless behavior. After a brief sigh, she followed him inside.

In the Theater.

“So this is the place Nick Fury and Tony mentioned… the one that shows us the future?” Steve Rogers looked around curiously.

The theater’s design reminded him of old cinemas from the 1940s. When the massive screen lit up and began playing past videos, his curiosity got the better of him—he pressed play.

Sokovia.

Wanda Maximoff stepped into the theater once again, feeling a mixture of excitement and anticipation.

The only regret she carried was that her parents’ deaths weren’t caused by Tony Stark’s poisonous weapon, as she had once believed. Still, perhaps that was for the best—it meant she and Pietro might still have a chance to seek the truth… and revenge.

But what she truly wanted to see this time was Linen.

Would the future video show him?
What kind of man would he become?

A faint blush crept onto her cheeks as she thought about it.
Maybe… maybe one day, she and Linen would not only meet—but have two adorable children together.

Chapter 25

[Side Quest “Victor Langdon” Completed!]
[Reward 1: Self-healing ability upgraded — Regeneration of severed limbs unlocked!]
[Reward 2: A deeply hidden secret — please check the video!]

Hearing the familiar mechanical prompt from the system, Linen raised an eyebrow in curiosity.

The first reward alone made him quite satisfied — his self-healing ability had now advanced to full limb regeneration. That was a massive leap in survivability.

But what truly piqued his curiosity was the second reward — “a deeply hidden secret.”

After all, as a time traveler familiar with the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, and even much of the comic lore, there were very few secrets in this world that could surprise him anymore.

So, what kind of secret could the system possibly be hiding from him?

Opening the system interface, Linen clicked on the reward video.

The screen lit up, showing a vast, star-filled sky — the quiet expanse of the universe.

As the camera zoomed in, two figures appeared, engaged in a serious conversation.

One bald-headed man in a flowing blue robe with glowing white eyes — unmistakable.

The Watchers.

Specifically, the scene showed Uatu the Watcher and another member of his kind, Yuri.

Linen’s eyes narrowed slightly. “Uatu and Yuri... what are these two discussing?”

In the video, Uatu’s face was solemn as he held his hands before a circular device.
“Yuri,” he said gravely, “you know very well that we Watchers are forbidden from interfering with the natural development of the universe.”

“I’m sorry, Uatu,” Yuri replied apologetically. “I didn’t expect that one small mistake would cause a leak of magical energy from the Ultimate Eraser... leading to the death of the Wallkeeper.”

Uatu’s expression hardened. Yuri continued, voice trembling slightly,
“Now that the Wallkeeper is gone, Earth has drawn the attention of countless cosmic eyes. It could even face premature destruction — just like the Cancerverse.”

Yuri bowed his head. “I’m willing to take responsibility for my mistake. Let me become the new Wallkeeper of Earth — until the next one is chosen.”

Uatu shook his head slowly. “No, Yuri. As members of the Watcher race, we cannot intervene in the natural course of any world. If you take up that position, the Ancient One will come for you.”

He turned his gaze toward Earth, eyes glowing brighter.
“To minimize interference, I’ll choose two new Wallkeepers in advance — successors to replace the fallen one.”

Raising his hand, Uatu summoned a faint, radiant energy — the essence of the Ultimate Eraser — floating in his palm.
“Though they are only mortals, with this power... they will be able to sustain the balance until the next Wallkeeper is born.”

With that, Uatu vanished, leaving Yuri behind in silence.

The camera shifted.

Now, it was a cold winter night on Earth.

A familiar scene played out — the assassination of Howard and Maria Stark.

The Winter Soldier, masked and expressionless, had just completed his mission. After dragging Howard’s lifeless body from the car, he turned and left — leaving only the bloodied corpses behind.

But then, across the street, another Howard and Maria Stark appeared.

Maria gasped softly. “That... that’s us...”

Howard sighed, holding her hand tightly. “I know. I used my own technology to create those replicas. With the current level of science on Earth, no one will ever know they’re fake.”

He looked toward Uatu, who had materialized beside them.
“This way, the timeline remains stable. The world will believe we’re dead.”

Uatu nodded slowly. “Mr. Stark, you understand the responsibility you’re taking on?”

Howard took a deep breath, then smiled faintly. “Perfectly. I just didn’t think I’d end up living on the moon with my wife, protecting the Earth in secret.”

Then, his eyes gleamed with curiosity. “But I’ve seen the creatures you showed me — demons from Hell dimensions, monsters from other realities... If I become this ‘Wallkeeper,’ I’ll be allowed to dissect them once they’re dead, right?”

Uatu actually smiled. “Of course. As Wallkeeper, their remains are yours to study. But from this moment forward, no one will ever know of your existence, or what you’ve done for the Earth.”

“In the eyes of the world,” he said solemnly, “you both die tonight — and will remain dead until the next Wallkeeper takes your place.”

Howard nodded gravely. “Understood. But before that... can my wife and I take one last look at our son? Tony is the only person I still worry about.”

Uatu paused for a moment, then gave a small nod. “You may. But he must never see you.”

The video ended there — the final image showing Howard and Maria Stark in another dimension, standing among the corpses of monstrous entities, their faces calm and determined.

When the screen went dark, Linen sat frozen for several seconds.

His mind was spinning.
“Howard Stark and his wife... faked their deaths and became the Wallkeepers?”

He exhaled slowly, a mix of awe and disbelief flashing across his face.

He had to admit — this was one hell of a secret.

In his understanding of Marvel lore, the most famous Wallkeeper was Nick Fury.

Not only because he once uttered a single sentence that shattered Thor’s confidence and made him unworthy of Mjolnir...

But because, in the comics, Nick Fury killed Uatu the Watcher himself, taking his place as the next Wallkeeper.

After him, the title passed on to the Winter Soldier.

But now, according to this secret—Howard and Maria Stark were the first Wallkeepers all along?

Linen leaned back, deep in thought.

“This... could make for one hell of a video,” he murmured, glancing at his system’s creation points.

The concept alone was gold. But how exactly should he craft it?

After a moment, a sharp grin curved across his lips.

He already had his next masterpiece in mind—

“The Art of Deception.”

Chapter 24

"Huh..."

Victor Langdon’s forehead was drenched in sweat as he woke up from yet another nightmare.

He was panting heavily, like a drowning man just pulled from the water. Looking around in terror, he found himself lying on his bed in his apartment.

Victor let out a shaky sigh of relief.

"What the hell is going on? Two nightmares in a row?"

He lifted the quilt and started to get out of bed—but the moment his feet touched the ground, a chilling thought flashed in his mind like thunder.

Wait...

Wasn’t he supposed to be driving to his mistress’s house this morning?
He had been on the road—so why was he suddenly back in his apartment?

Before Victor could make sense of it, the entire apartment began to shake violently. The next instant, the ceiling collapsed, crushing him from the waist down. Dozens of steel rods pierced through his body, nailing him to the floor.

Agonizing pain flooded his body like a raging tide. Even fainting felt like a luxury.

After what felt like an eternity, Victor heard voices shouting nearby—rescue teams.

He looked around and saw that all the surrounding buildings had collapsed in what looked like a massive earthquake. Firefighters and police officers were digging through the rubble, pulling survivors from the ruins.

"H–Help... Help..."

He tried to cry out, but no sound came from his throat.

He wanted to move, but his arms were pinned to the ground by the steel bars.

He could only watch helplessly as rescuers carried people away one after another—none of them even glanced at him.

The pain was unbearable, but the despair was worse.

Two rescuers passed by him. One of them looked down briefly, then told the other calmly, “He’s gone. Focus on the ones still alive.”

Victor’s eyes widened in disbelief.

He wanted to scream that he was still alive—but his throat refused to make a sound. He wanted to struggle, but every tiny movement sent waves of searing pain through his body, as though his flesh was being sliced apart.

Fear. Helplessness. Pain. Despair.

The emotions tore through him, and in that moment, he suddenly remembered the terrified cries of those young girls—the ones he had hurt.

When his strength finally left him and he closed his eyes in hopelessness, a faint sound of rushing water reached his ears.

He opened his eyes again—only to find himself lying on a broken raft, drifting endlessly across a desolate sea.

Around him, countless sharks circled, their fins slicing through the water.

Two streets away from the New York Courthouse...

Linen sat inside an unlicensed van, casually eating an orange.

In the passenger seat, Victor Langdon sat motionless, trapped in the illusion created by the Eye of Judgment. His face twisted from pain to despair to terror, reliving the worst moments of his life again and again.

Watching him silently, Linen took another bite of orange and dialed a number on his phone.

The line connected.

“Senior, did you handle the thing I asked for?” Linen asked calmly.

On the other end, Jessica’s voice came, cheerful and confident. “Of course. This is the first time you’ve ever asked me for help since we’ve known each other.”

“Don’t worry—Uncle Sean, the top prosecutor in New York, is an old friend of my father. He’s watched me grow up. I’ve already spoken with him. As long as we have solid evidence of Victor Langdon’s crimes, Uncle Sean will take the case himself and make sure that bastard gets life in prison.”

Then, Jessica’s tone turned curious. “By the way, junior, did that creep Victor Langdon offend you or something? Do you want me to find someone to—”

“He didn’t provoke me,” Linen interrupted coldly. “I just hate men like him. That’s all.”

Jessica paused, then nodded. “Yeah. People like him don’t deserve to live in this world anyway.”

After ending the call, Linen tossed another orange slice into his mouth.

Originally, he had planned to personally visit the presiding judge at the courthouse. But now that Jessica had handled it, there was no need for him to step in directly.

After all, he and his senior had... worked together enough times that he didn’t want to cause her unnecessary trouble.

Finishing the last slice of orange, Linen put on the Judge’s Mask once again and released Victor Langdon from the illusion of judgment.

When Victor returned to reality, his mind was blank from the endless cycles of pain and death. The moment he saw the masked figure before him, he let out a panicked shriek, trembling uncontrollably.

He didn’t even know how he would die this time—but he knew it would be terrifying.

“Victor Langdon,” Linen’s cold voice echoed, “You are guilty of molesting young girls. Do you plead guilty?”

Seeing that the hellish figure didn’t immediately strike him down, Victor burst into tears.

He didn’t want to suffer anymore. He didn’t want to die again and again.

“Yes! I plead guilty! I’ll turn myself in! I’ll confess everything!” he cried, snot and tears streaming down his face.

“Remember your words,” Linen said coldly. “If you don’t confess this time... I promise you’ll die in fear and despair forever.”

“I will! I swear I will!” Victor screamed, shaking like a leaf.

With a low humph, Linen started the van and drove toward the courthouse.

When they arrived, he opened the door and kicked Victor out onto the pavement.

Victor collapsed to the ground, sobbing uncontrollably as he watched the van disappear into the distance.

For the first time, he wasn’t angry. He wasn’t afraid of the police or the court.

He was just... relieved.

Because after dying in nightmares again and again, even prison felt like mercy.

Chapter 23

“Someone’s coming out!”

Just as Natasha and Thor were chatting, they saw Victor Landon humming a tune as he strolled out of his apartment.

The man casually got into his car. Seeing that, Thor frowned and looked at Natasha.
“Why hasn’t that guy named Linen shown up yet?”

“Relax. Be patient,” Natasha replied coolly, starting her car. She followed Victor’s vehicle from a safe distance.

Inside Victor’s Car

“Lawyer George, you did a great job this time. I’ll have the balance transferred to you — make sure to check it.”

Victor Landon’s smug voice filled the car as he drove toward his mistress’s house. But the next second, a figure in a black robe and mask dropped out of the sky, landing directly in front of the car.

Startled, Victor slammed his foot on the brakes. The tires screeched violently, and the car stopped just inches from the mysterious figure — Linen.

“F*ck!” Victor cursed, his face pale with fright. He jumped out of the car, shouting angrily, “Are you insane?! Do you have a death wish?! If I hadn’t braked in time, you would’ve been—”

Before he could finish, Linen stepped forward silently.

“You… what are you trying to do? I warn you—”

Victor didn’t even finish his sentence before Linen seized him by the collar and yanked him out of the car as if he weighed nothing.

He ignored Victor’s panicked shouting. Under the mask, Linen’s cold gaze flicked toward Natasha and Thor, who were watching from their car nearby. Then, without hesitation, he opened a glowing portal — and disappeared into it with Victor Landon.

“Wow! Even Loki doesn’t know that trick!” Thor exclaimed, eyes wide in astonishment.

He turned to Natasha. “Is that the same cheerful young man you and Nick Fury were talking about? By Odin… the look in his eyes just now was colder than the void!”

Chewing her gum, Natasha smirked. “Yeah, that’s him. Linen — the sunny, kind-hearted boy who loves to help people. That’s what all his classmates and friends say, anyway.”

Thor stared at her in disbelief. “Are you sure we’re talking about the same person? Because the guy I just saw looked like a demon from Helheim, not some ‘kind-hearted boy.’”

Ignoring Thor’s comment, Natasha pulled out her phone and called Nick Fury.
“Just as we expected — Victor Landon’s been taken by Linen.”

“I told you,” she continued confidently, “Linen’s a man with a strong sense of justice and principles.”

On the other end of the line, Nick Fury’s voice was calm.
“Good. Then proceed according to plan. Keep contact with him as you suggested.”

After hanging up, Fury stepped out of his office. Outside, a group of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents surrounded a confused-looking soldier.

Fury approached and said, “Sorry, soldier. What you saw was a performance — a way to help you better accept reality.”

In a Canyon

In a desolate canyon, the air was heavy with dread.

Victor Landon trembled uncontrollably as he faced Linen, whose masked figure radiated an aura of death itself.

“W-Who are you?” Victor stammered. “Let me go! I have money — however much you want, I can—”

Linen’s voice was cold and final.
“Victor Landon. Guilty of molesting seven young girls.”

“I’m innocent! The court found me not guilty, you can’t—”

Before he could finish, Linen grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off the ground with one hand.

“Look into my eyes.”

Victor’s legs kicked helplessly as he met Linen’s gaze — eyes glowing like molten gold. The instant he did, an overwhelming terror pierced his soul.

And then—

Linen released him.

Victor plummeted from the cliff, his scream echoing through the canyon.

“Ahhhh!!!”

The ground rushed up to meet him. Sharp rocks jutted from below like the fangs of beasts. He could see his death approaching, feel his bladder give way in pure terror.

Bang!

When his body hit the rocks, the crunch of shattering bones filled the air. His ribs, spine, and limbs all snapped under the impact. The agony was indescribable.

The jagged stones tore through his flesh as blood pooled beneath him. His consciousness began to fade…

But just as darkness was about to claim him—

Victor gasped awake.

He was back inside his car. The road stretched before him, untouched.

It was as if the fall — the cliff — the pain — had all been a nightmare.

He exhaled shakily, clutching his chest.
“F*ck… that dream felt so real…”

Just as he reached for the ignition, he froze.

In the rearview mirror, a cement tanker was barreling toward him, its horn blaring wildly.

“Oh no—!”

He tried to jump out, but his seatbelt jammed, locking him in place.

The tanker drew closer and closer. Desperation filled his eyes.

BANG!

The collision was brutal. The massive tanker crushed Victor’s sleek sports car like paper.

Blood sprayed from his mouth as he screamed in agony. His mangled body twitched as he tried to crawl out of the wreckage.

But then, the cement tanker began to leak. Thick, gray cement poured out, burying the crushed car — and Victor along with it.

“NO!!!”

His final scream was swallowed by the concrete, his voice fading beneath the suffocating weight.

The cement hardened, sealing his fate forever.

For Victor Landon, death had come twice — once in illusion, once in reality.

And this time, there was no waking up.

Chapter 22

Three days later, in the morning.

“Linen, if the studio only focuses on exorcising evil spirits and solving supernatural events, then our efficiency in making money is way too low.”

Handing over the business plan to Linen, Barbara said seriously, “I’ve been studying the market these past few days. You know how obsessed Europeans and Americans are with mysterious things.”

“Just from my research alone, there are huge business opportunities here.”

She pointed to the plan. “If we can produce a batch of goods — small gadgets for exorcism and blessings, for example — and have Jessica use her father’s connections to boost our studio’s reputation…”

“Then believe me, within a year, we’ll be able to buy a single-family villa on Manhattan’s Upper East Side!”

“As for the processing plant, I’ve already made contact. Now we just need your approval.”

Looking at Barbara’s excited expression, Linen put down the plan and nodded. “No problem on my end. I can invest two hundred and thirty thousand dollars right now.”

“That’s settled, then!”

Seeing Linen agree, Barbara quickly took the plan and turned to Jessica. “You’ll handle the studio’s operations. As for the startup funds and the processing plant fees, I suggest each of us invest thirty thousand dollars.”

“Jessica, we need to be clear about one thing — even though we’ll be earning money from these mystical products, the real core of this studio is Linen.”

“If we don’t have someone with real skill holding the reins, then even if we open up the market, no one will buy from us.”

“So, for the long term, each of us will only invest up to thirty thousand dollars — that’s ten percent each. Linen must hold eighty percent of the shares. He’s the foundation of this business.”

Barbara understood perfectly who the true center of the studio was.

Rather than letting future conflicts over profits ruin their friendship, it was better to make things clear from the start.

Linen would be responsible for real cases and problem-solving. Barbara would handle marketing and product design, while Jessica would leverage her father’s connections for publicity and partnerships.

Only by maintaining this balance could their studio thrive and grow.

After all — relationships are relationships, but interests are interests.

“Are you kidding? Don’t forget we studied the same major!”

Getting up and kissing Linen lightly on the cheek, Jessica said with a smile, “I’ll start working those connections right away. Also, we need a way to make the studio famous in one go!”

“Leave the planning to me, Linen. Just cooperate when the time comes.”

“I have an idea too!”

Hearing Jessica’s words, Barbara grabbed her bag and stood up. “Let’s go together. I still need to contact the processing factory. We can brainstorm how to make the studio go viral on the way.”

Watching his two senior partners march out like a pair of strong-willed businesswomen, Linen could only shrug. He picked up an orange from the fruit bowl and peeled it slowly.

The main goal of the studio was to make money — and to ease his financial pressure.

After all, only when he wasn’t worried about money could Linen focus on making videos and improving his power.

So rather than saying who was helping whom, it was better to say that they were helping each other.

Tossing a slice of orange into his mouth, Linen’s gaze fell on a photo of Victor Landon in the newspaper. Gradually, an idea for his next side quest formed in his mind.

After perfecting his plan, Linen got up and walked outside.

Once he left the apartment, he drove off.

Across the street, a customer in a nearby fruit shop pressed a hand to his earpiece.

“The target has left. Should we follow him?”

“Don’t act rashly,” came the calm reply through the headset. “We can’t afford to mess with someone who’s caught Nick Fury’s attention.”

“Our mission is simple — just make sure this young man named Linen doesn’t interfere with our operations.”

“Compared to him, our main plan takes priority.”

“Understood.”

The man nodded, picked a few fruits, and casually walked to the counter.

Inside his car, Linen glanced at the rearview mirror and smirked.

He had already sensed the people tailing him that morning.

As a magician, his spiritual perception was sharp — almost impossible to fool.

Still, this was convenient. After all, in the last video he fabricated, he had hinted to Natasha that something was wrong with S.H.I.E.L.D.

He’d been wondering how to make the next video feel more convincing — and now, those fools had come knocking on their own.

It was like someone sending you a pillow when you were about to fall asleep.

At the same time, outside Victor Landon’s apartment—

“Damn it! In Asgard, a beast like this would have been executed on the spot! When my father was alive, he’d have ordered the guards to drag him into the square and have the executioner chop off his head before all of Asgard!”

Sitting in the passenger seat, Thor slammed his fist angrily on the dashboard.

Watching his fury, Natasha Romanoff, who was behind the wheel, smirked while chewing her gum. “Easy there, big guy. Isn’t Linen already planning to deal with him?”

“And honestly, if you weren’t so curious to see whether he’s a magician like your brother Loki, I wouldn’t have brought you here.”

“Someone like that deserves to die,” Thor muttered, still fuming. “His existence is an insult to justice.”

That was exactly what Natasha had expected.

After hearing both her and Nick Fury mention Linen’s mysterious abilities, Thor had grown curious about the magician — insisting on coming along.

And that anger of his? Natasha had deliberately stoked it by telling him about Victor Landon’s crimes.

This was part of her mission — to test Thor’s temperament.

Even though the “spoiler videos” didn’t clearly show Thor’s role among the Avengers, it was obvious that the Earth’s future was closely tied to him.

That was why Fury had assigned this task to Natasha.
