Zangoose/Seviper WIP

Was hoping to get it a bit more polished before sharing, but hey that's the point of a WIP peek, right? While it got beat out by chance in the tiebreaker for last month's poll, I did still want to try and get the Zangoose/Seviper pic done. Also came to the frustrating realization that my first Seviper reference image was mirrored so my old Seviper pic was WRONG, but I fixed it this time! The markings are now on the correct side for this one!

Mushroom Mutation

Parasect's Mutation is finally finished!~ I really didn't plan on putting much effort into the background, but it's not something I do often and I could resist giving it an honest shot. Also included textless version and versions without the shading in case your prefer her full vibrancy, forest lighting be damned.

Carracosta

Having a lot of fun with Parasect, but it's not quite finished yet. Here's a Carracosta for now! Couldn't decide on how to do the chest so nipple bump versions included for your turtle preferences.

January Poképoll

Happy New Year! Starting off 2025 with a fresh new poll, with a few patron suggestions included! For the record, I keep a backlog of all the Pokémon I'm considering drawing, and use a random number generator to decide which ten get to be in the poll every month. Any patron submissions get added to that list, but will also be given priority on appearing on future polls. In other words, even if your submission doesn't win this month, it'll be back!

December Poll Winner

New month. New Year. New poll winner! More votes this time around, and we ended up with a tie. As I said, in the event of a tie I left it up to chance and the generator decided that the ultimate winner was Parasect's Futa Mutation, with Seviper/Zangoose as the runner-up. That being said, I really want to draw both of these. Can't promise when the runner-up will be done, but I'm gonna try and do it too!~

Just a little practice piece toying around with speed, color, and some background effects. Always loved the implication in G/S that shiny Gyarados' pigmentation was the result of premature evolution. Might not make as much sense mechanically, but I always wish there were more in-universe explanations for shinies.

Perk Changes + December Poképoll

And we're back to regular billing and perks, with a few changes! As previously alluded to, I've shuffled the perks a bit. Voting Privileges have been bumped down Poke Balls tier while Poll Suggestion Privileges have been bumped down to Great Balls tier. Additionally I've added a new "Portrait Commission" perk to Ultra Balls. In short; all Ultra Balls members will be able to request a Pokémon of their choice to be drawn as a colored Portrait sketch (chest/wait up)

And to celebrate the Patreon returning, I've decided to be a bit more ambitious with this month's poll! Rather than the usual profiles, I figured I'd take a shot at doing more of a scene. But I don't know if I can handle more than one of these in a month, so in the event of a tie I'll just let chance decide which one comes out on top!

Billing Update and Changes to Future Patron Perks

As always I'd like to thank you for your support and kind words. As I've mentioned in a few posts, my personal life has been rather busy lately. To keep it brief my employment situation has been taking up a lot of time and energy, and is not likely to let up any time soon. The result right now is that I'm further behind on previous poll winners than I had hoped by the end of this month. I had planned on pausing billing only for October and using November as a month of fundamental practice. However, I am now considering putting a pause on November as well. This will give me both November and December to use for catching up on remaining poll winners, and grinding some more practice, as well as taking some time for the holidays. I apologize if this is a disappointment, but I'll still be posting drawings as regularly as ever and this time I can confidently say that perks will be reactivated again in December.

On that subject, as previously hinted at, I've been doing some thinking on restructuring my perks. I'd like to try and make each tier feel a little more rewarding while considering what I'm realistically capable of. Here are my thoughts so far;

Pokeballs - Voting privileges will be bumped down to be available to this tier. I'm not currently in a position in which I post too many patreon exclusive pieces, so hopefully this will make membership feel at least a little more worthwhile. Additionally more voters should help determine more conclusive winners in the polls.

Greatballs - Suggestion box privileges will be bumped to this tier. Since the suggestion box only gives an option on the poll and not a guaranteed drawing it didn't feel like it was rewarding enough for the higher tier. This may need to be reconsidered if members of this tier outnumber poll options, but for now it seems like a fitting compromise.

Ultraballs - New privilege featuring a quick sketch of your choice. I really love the idea of offering a full commission piece for this tier, but with my available time and pace I don't think that's something I can realistically deliver. However, I do think that at the very least I could offer something on the simpler side. Nothing too fancy; probably just a portrait from the waist/chest up some less polished linework and simple color/shading.
