Birthday/Anniversary (With render progress teaser)

 It's my birthday! 28 stinkin years now XD

AND it's also the anniversary for going self employed with Spruce Art! I mean, I technically was around before then but that's when I quit my full time job to try to make it as an artist. And although I had to pick up two part time jobs to aid in my bills I'm definitely doing decent on the art front!

Notable milestones include:
-Hitting 1000 watchers on FA and 1000 subs on YouTube.
-Breaching $1000 of income one month on Patreon when the Bat Explorer went on early release, though that's since come back down.
-Got a website mostly built Spruce-Art.com and it looks pretty okay!
-Started a discord with some great people on it. Follow link to join! https://discord.gg/f2yEe7A

There were a couple shortcomings though, unfortunately. I haven't met my income goal on Patreon yet of $1500/month. Additionally, income from Patreon has dipped over the last couple months due to (I'm guessing) the lack of animations being released. I've been working on a big one so it's just been taking all my time. It is rendering now though! It's on frame 1061 out of 2740 going at about 5-13 minutes per frame.

With all that being said, I'd like to wish you all a happy new year again and hope everyone is well and successful in whatever they do!

Vin's Convention Dinner

Sergal/Wyvern Vore Animation update

It's rendering! The animation has reached rendering status!

The picture above is frame 299. I'm currently at frame 480. Got 2740 frames total so.... gonna be awhile! XD

Either way, I'm happy to be rendering finally. I don't think my computer is happy though but we're seeking couples therapy about that. Lol.

Sergal Booty

Deepest apologies for the lackluster content this month. I've been drilling away at finalizing the sergal/wyvern vore animation and here's a bootiful update to show the progress. As you can see, the sergal now has some slick fur! Just gotta flesh out the environment and hopefully get some simulation on the fur and I'll be ready to render!

Mid-December update

Just keeping you all in the loop here. Been trying to wrap up that sergal/wyvern animation but I'm running into some technical difficulties with the sergal's hair. The plug-in I have used in the past for fur/hair is not simulating accurately at all. (Imagine Medusa's head) 

So now I'm relearning xgen. I'll be tackling the hair this weekend after I finish previewing the last tutorials. If all goes well I should be getting the environment flushed out and rendering by Christmas. :D

Hope you all had a great weekend! I got to meet a few of you and got to hug a lot of nice suiters!

On the agenda for the next month:

Design a 2019 logo for my art
Wrap up the sergal vore animation and start rendering
Wrap up the Aerys scene
Some 2D line-work

I'm gonna try my best to kick some ass on these things before the year wraps up. Of course my two other jobs are requesting more hours of me too with the upcoming Christmas holiday too. Let's make it happen!

Sergal Vore Update

Just an update to the big sergal vore animation. Still a few things to tweak and some details to put in for animation before moving to the environment. I also need to put fur/hair on the sergal too. But I think it's coming along well.

Here's a test render of what the scene should look like. I only have a basic lighting setup in this render so the end result should look even better.
