Laura has a symbiotic relationship with the parasites she distributes. Although she is human, she acts as their ally and main distributor, helping the parasites spread in exchange for benefits.
When she discovered the existence of these parasites, she saw an opportunity she couldn't resist. As she became more involved with the creatures, she saw their potential to control and enhance people, and decided to turn this into a business. Little by little, she was building his own clandestine market.
