3 Stooges in the Edo era - Page 15

I haven't posted anything here for a few days... A few reasons for that. Firstly, work on my street has cut off my Internet connection for the past two days, and as my PC is only connected to my Internet box by cable, I couldn't upload anything to the cloud.

The other reason is that I've started working on my commissions. I'll show them to you as their owners wish.

But now here's the last page I finished... Dialogues will be written at the very end.

Last 4 pages...

Now that the story-board is done (or should I call it preliminary sketches...) I'm going to devote my time to completing the 6 final pages and the few commissions I have pending (no, my dear commissioners, I haven't forgotten you!).

That leads me to inform you all that I will be away from home between March 13 th and 28 th. I'll tell you more about it later, so that you can all be informed (probably in the form of a direct message). So don't be surprised if you don't hear from me between these two dates.

But by then I'll have things to show you... 🍆🍑🐷

I was out today, for a visit to my mother-in-law and I spent some time sketching when I found the time... Here's the result. Uncle Mark and Sherif Benton hugging on the lawn... And a real quick Deimos, the purple demon created by my buddy Patrick Fillion, emerging and not really happy...

I have to confess that I'm way behind schedule. I've been a bit overwhelmed by other daily obligations. But I'd like to show you what I'm usually reluctant to show (no, it's not my dick...), my pre-sketches. 2 pages of the 3 stooges... You'll see that when I have a clear idea in my head, the box is well drawn, and when I don't, it's less precise.

Some quick update about Porky

I thought I'd posted a few preparatory sketches on patreon, but obviously it's not the case. Thanks to our buddy Paul, for asking me about our favorite chubby! 🙏💖👍

First of all, the Porky series as it existed ended at the 5th episode of the first run.

The continuation of Porky is divided into two series (or I know, it's ambitious...) Porkytown on the one hand (working title while waiting for better...) and the Crimson Guild on the other.

Benjamin Foley is now part of the superhero team, having left his hometown at the end of the series. He'll be back in the Crimson Guild for more superheroic adventures...

The rest of Benjamin's entourage remain in his hometown, and will have to deal with the aftermath of the Controller's assault... This is more of a procedural/horror series...

I've added all the graphic research, notes and sketches. Of course, it's all just a draft and things will evolve ...

Underwater chubby and barbarian royal guard - Ink

This time, I put some of my custom brushes to work. It's half of the HD for the moment but don't worry, You'll have the real thing in HD when the illustration will be achieved! 🐡🦈🍆💦💖

Too far on the details...

Here's the evolution of the work in progress of the ninth duet. A little too much details on the barbarian, but as you probably have noticed there are hints of a sub-aquatic universe... the trident, the scales... I think that's going to steer the color scheme in a “deep blue” direction!

Change currency on single subscription.

Hello, just a quick message to let everyone know that I've just readjusted the subscription of 5 dollars, in euros. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I didn't think at first that I had a choice of currencies, and given the cost of converting currencies on Paypal, I had to change it back to the base, on Patreon.

This will be the only change to this subscription. There will never be another “readjustment”.

Here's some WIP of the last duet i'm working on. As you can see, I started to ink the Barbarians (who actually looks more like a royal guard or a sort of knight...) I haven't yet decided what the little chubby one will be... I'm still working on the end of the third aventures of the 3 stooges but I want to finish all the story-boards before I show anything!

Here's the first illustration of the series, with the background, colors and ornaments... I spend some time playing with the excellent symmetrical ruler of Clip Studio Paint and it was very satisfiying!

I'm still working on the storyboards for the end of episode 3 of The Stooges in the Edo Era. But in the meantime, here's my work in progress on the color schemes for the next 4 duos in my Chubbies and Monsterco ... ehh Barbarians series! 🐷🍆😛

Chubbies and Barbarians - coloring WIP

An old collection of pin-ups duo. It's time to give them a little color. For the moment, I'm giving you the (almost) flat colors version. I thought I would continue with the flat colors on the rest, before gradually taking over the coloring from the first to the last... For the moment I have 8 duos.

Some have a really strong D&D vibes and I really like that. I probably should make a fantasy story one day... 🐲🐷🍆💦

Page 14 finished !

I should have shown you this finished page last night but I had a technical problem with my internet box. Now that I have my connection back... Here it is in HD. Those grey wash watercolor brushes are a lot of fun but I have to be careful not to over-render the shadows and lights.

Now I have to draw the end of the story... 🤤

Just a little something to show you I'm back on track. Working on the end of that story, now that everyday life has finally returned to normal. I must confess I'm not 100% sure how this story will finish... There will be more cum than blood for sure! 🐷🍆💦

Small Update: 

I've finally given up my participation in both DRUMMER mag and TTBM3. I'd rather concentrate on the projects already announced in my planning 2025 (i.e. the end of this story of the 3 stooges, Pornomicon: First Encounter and the continuation of Porky's adventures). I will also start a new commissions session for the beginning of February. So get ready with you're requests!!

It's been a difficult end-of-year period, but hosting this Patreon with you has enabled me to overcome my worries, procrastination and self-doubt.

Back at work... Finally !!

The end of year festivities are always problematic, as my husband and I have quite a few family commitments and add to that my recent elbow problems and a bout of flu between two festivities, and I haven't had any time to myself at all (so not much time for you guys...) and I'm sorry about that.

But, those things are behind me (mostly...) and I'm back at work. To celebrate that, here's an old drawing that I've just finished inking !

Now that my brain can be fully turned towards work, I'm going to get back to the comic strips and, incidentally, get on with some coloring too.

I made 2 illustrations in the last issue of Drummer Magazine. And I actually story-board a short story for the next one !!

 Another good news ! I'll be taking part in the next gay comics anthology TTBM, the third one , directed by Nicolas Wanstock and published by Dynamite!

Since I still have some family members at home until january 6th, I don't have enough time to immerse myself in the realization of the last pages of the third aventure of the 3 stooges in the Edo era. But I can set aside a little time to make progress on a few illustrations on an ad hoc basis, like this one!

3 Stooges in the Edo Era - Ninja P12 WIP

Just a little WIP for the page 12. I'm also working on the page 13 and I'll paint the backgrounds of both pages 11-12 and 13 at the same time. I'm going to try not to overload the backgrounds so as to make the pages more readable (I did a bit too much on pages 8-9 and 10).

The festive season is approaching and this year my husband and I are in charge of organising Christmas and New Year's Eve.

We already have family at home and the preparations are well under way. So don't be too surprised if there's less news from me over the festive period.

Today I'm finally having my elbow ultrasound. Wish me luck! 🙏🤞😬
