She was okay with me sharing some sneak peeks with my patrons, so here's a look at Mousy! (Another fox girl! I swear I'm not specifically picking out fox girls to do Vtuber model art. Somehow, they all just Find Me.)
I will be working on her Live2D model artwork this month as my primary project, and plan on streaming my progress a few times as well, like I did when I was working on Cereza's model! :D It's a time consuming process, so I'd be grateful if you tuned in to keep me company when I do π
This time, I didn't really have a hand in designing her character, but I'm still looking forward to creating the model art itself! I had fun working on this concept sketch. Currently, I'm working on a sketch of her expression and then moving on to the lineart!

We happen to both have pink or pinkish haired succubus/demon OCs, and they even have kind of a similar body type, so it just makes sense to pair them together. At least, it makes sense to me (and to my friend).

I'd usually post closer to the beginning of the month, but I was waiting to see if some billing issues that Patreon has experienced would be resolved after a day or so, as they sometimes are. Turns out that Patreon has had widespread payment processing issues, which you might have heard about already (here's an article summarizing the issue).
I noticed there were a large amount of lost patrons at the beginning of this month, more than usual for me. It seems there were pledges that were just automatically removed after a payment processing issue. I don't know if Patreon is going to be reaching out to the people whose pledges were affected, so I'm not sure what to do at this point, but I do hope it gets resolved somehow!
I am hoping to set up some kind of alternative that people can use instead of Patreon if they want to support me regularly. Ideally it'd be something that I can use alongside Patreon without a lot of extra work, so it might end up being on Discord in some capacity. (Discord isn't an amazing long term solution, but I have been enjoying using it for my patron/art server!)

A rare fanart piece that I made just for me! And also any other SeiUsa fans out there. A loose Magnet (Vocaloid) parody featuring my Sailor Moon OTP.
This piece is filled with all the queer energy from back when I first discovered the Vocaloid song as a teenager, and the pairing I know I would've been crazy about had I been able to watch Sailor Stars back in those days.
I ended up making some changes to the classic Magnet pose and also made a no-earpiece version too. Part of the reason I drew this is also because Star Fighter's earpiece in their transformation sequence is just so cute, and I wanted to give Sailor Moon a matching one. lol

Hey all! I wanted to update you on the status of my work, and how I've been doing in general! This month's bonus pic is late. I'm so sorry about that. It's in the works right now, and I hope you all like it! π I'll be posting it up as soon as I can!
In the past I've touched on health issues and things that sometimes cause me to be unable to meet my usual deadlines, so you may have known about some of these things already, but I wanted to bring up what I'm dealing with right now.

I've been struggling with chronic illness the past month that has been more severe and disruptive to daily life than usual. The past year has been worse than usual partially because I've moved away from most routine treatment options that my insurance will cover, and I can't afford to pay the out of pocket costs on my current income.
I normally make the bulk of my income from commissions to support me and my spouse, and when I'm sick and unable to complete commissions at the rate I normally can, I fall behind and I pull out of our savings to pay bills. We're fortunate to have savings at all, but it still scares me. It scares me because this is a condition I will always have, and while I have been healthier than ever in some ways, my chronic pain can flare up seemingly out of nowhere.
Most of the time, pain is something I can find ways to cope with, but it often coincides with anxiety and panic attacks, stomach problems, and that all kind of makes me feel sick and messed up. It's really hard to make art when it's bad like that. It's not every day, and I eventually start to feel more capable and get back to my normal rhythm. But I feel like it's important to share what I am going through, because I know many people support my art and also want to support me as an individual. Some of my patrons are my friends, too, and I find it hard to be completely honest and tell most people directly when I'm not feeling well.

I've been considering doing a more goal-based Patreon tier or something like that, so I can share how much I need to make to keep up with our expenses and what my financial goals are. I also have ideas for merch that I'm excited about, which will hopefully help provide a little more passive income to allow for more sick days. Once I'm caught up with my work and am ready to share my merch ideas, I'll post them here!
The main merch ideas I have involve cute and useful goods that are printed with original character art and some text that centers around celebration of queer identities (and also some more "proactive" sentiments, because I've wanted to make my own "trans rights are human rights" merch for a while, anyway).
Commissions will also be opening Soon(TM) to patrons, whenever my queue is down to just a few less projects. It's been a while since I've opened commissions, so I hope to fit in as many folks as I can!

I also appreciate everything that you do to support me that doesn't involve money - especially now while social media is a huge dumpster fire. Cheerleader just finished her first practice after officially coming out! Her partner congratulated her with a kiss in front of the whole school! She's happy, but a little embarrassed... also, she's not even sure if people know that her partner is actually a boy.
The winning prompt for this month was a "femboy in a schoolgirl outfit kissing his cheerleader gf!" Since the characters in this are teenagers, I really wanted to channel something really wholesome an cute, and I described this piece to people as "yuricore" while I was working on it, lol. I may have to develop Cheerleader and Schoolgirl Boy into recurring characters, because I really like them!
