Scorebars Update 4.1!

With player implementation added in the last update, I've taken it a little further by implementing match data. With this you just select that match you're currently on in your tournament and you're previous match and upcoming match will be options for you to show on your stream. Without needing to put them in manually. Showing who beat who and who are the next challengers to fight one another

With this update also comes a slight change to how you get your Challonge info to generate. Before, you'd just put the URL of your tourney in, however the way this went about acquiring everything from there has changed (why the player cards look different now as well). Now, you can still try using your URL and it might work (typically if it isn't a custom made one) and you'll be fine. Otherwise you'll have to grab the Tournament ID manually from the Tournament page. Here's how to do that.

1.  Go to the Tournament page

2. Right Click and View Source

3. Find <![CDATA and below that, find the Tournament ID

I've also added the IDs of each player to their dropdown selection. If you are a Challonge Tourney host and want to try out this feature, be sure to email or send me a message on Twitter and I'll give you a week trial of it. It's all great convenience.

There are a few more notes you can look at in the Changelog. Enjoy.

Scorebars Update: v4.0

Introducing the Scorebars 4.0: Challonge Update! Lets go over some additions.

Firstly, There's a new Patreon Tier ($35)!  All the hard work to put this stuff in for the convenience of those Challonge hosts out there wanting more for their stream. This Tier may never be subscribed too, but I really love the what I've done here. I know it's for the most serious of tournament hosts though. In you Admin Panel, all you need to do is add the Challonge URL to the input box and all the magic happens.

Note that by URL, I just mean this for example: Challonge.com/<only-whatever-this-is>

Challonge Player Dropdowns - Instead of manually inputting everyone in your Challonge tournament into the player slots, they are automatically generated for you!!! Their Seed numbers are also listed. To revert back to manual name inputs, just hit the reset button.

New Challonge Stat Cards - Not only do the players from your Challonge Tournament populate into the dropdown player selections, you also now get a little player stat card shown above the selections. Some easy to get to information for those who want something to say about their competitors when they are commentating for example or also just want to see how dynamic or how good a fighter is based on their record.

- Challonge Tournament Info - Above those two things you'll also see the identifiers of the tournament you're hosting/checking out. You'll see the name, ID, Game the tourney us using, how many participants there are, the type of tourney it is (single or double elimination as well as the overall progress of the tournament based on it's percentage of games completed. The green bar along the bottom is also a representation of how far along the tournament is.

New Feature - Custom Round Tags:  Idea MattoCat had so i added it to the list of Tier 5 Patreon features.

- [TBA] Challonge Match Info: What I also want to add, but need the info sorted out a certain way for it to work the way I intend it to, so as of the moment, its TBA till I figure it out. It will be an addition to the manual Upcoming Match Feature Feature as it will show the results of the last match with will be pretty cool if you viewers missed something and wanted to know the results of the previous match. as well as the upcoming match based on the tourney bracket*

- Extra Notes -

+ This Version (for the foreseeable future anyway) does NOT support Challonge sub domain URLs (ex. sub.challonge.com/whatever) so i wouldn't recommend making one for your tourney if you want the information to load in.

+ The player dropdown names go by their Challonge Username, not their "Display Name" so if a player has set it differently, just note that.

+ Unregistered Participants will come up as Null in the dropdown menus so get your players registered.

+ If a Challonge player has a Avatar and Background set on their Challonge pages, it helps the player cards look better as those are what's pulled to make them. Default Challonge Avatar/background is used otherwise.

+ May switch up the way the Stream Box works so instead of scrolling streamer cards, it shows a different one per page load. This would reduce the overall page load that can take a little longer sometimes as it loading all those different <frames> in that box down there.

+ May add an option to hide/show or remove the Notepad as not a lot of people use it i guess.

I hope you all enjoy

An update to Custom Splashes

This benefit I would assume is pretty ambiguous for most, but I just wanted to give people an idea of what they'd be getting so I put together a few templates that patrons can get as part of their Tier. All that's needed is a logo. The typical use case for these things would be a Tournament logo as essentially an ad or branding for your Tourney between matches or something I figure (Amala Arena for example). All generally between 5-10 seconds.

Template 1. Use Case: Horizontal logos (Optional: Particle Color change, Tagline)

Template  2. Use Case: Basic shaped logos (Optional: Tagline)

Template  3. Use Case: Logos with spaces or holes in them so the shape is still obvious in the beginning (Optional: Tagline)

Template  4. Use Case: Solid shapes and one color logos. Also Makes logo glossy/embossed a bit

Template  5. Use Case: Anything really. (Optional: 1 or 2 Taglines)

Template  6. Use Case: Anything really. (Optional: 1 or 2 Taglines)

Template  7. Use Case: Light colored logo as they go better with the background unlike red

Template  8. Use Case: Anything really. (Glossiness on top)

Maybe more to choose from later on.

Note: I made a new alternate logo/icon finally as can be seen in the example there. Still love my original logo though. I will make an update post here (as i keep forgetting to post here) and on Twitter like usual on upcoming things FYI.
