Reduced ADs on iOS
Significantly reduced the number of ads for free users (sorry again!) There was a bug with our ad limit settings that made the app way more spammy than intended, totally not the experience we wanted for you. It should now feel much smoother, but let us know if anything still feels off. We’re always listening to your feedback!
New PRO plans
You can now subscribe with new Annual or Lifetime plans! - Annual plan = 1 to 2 months free (depending on your local currency and conversion rates set by app stores, we don’t control this part) - Lifetime plan = one-time payment, ads gone forever We added these based on user requests and feedback on pricing flexibility, thanks to everyone who helped shape these options!
New iOS Widget: Calendar View!
You can now add in your Home Screen the current Pokémon of the day inside a full calendar view. It’s super cute and actually useful!
And more
- The app now reopens on the last page you visited, so you can jump right back into what you were doing
- New customization icon variants for iOS
- Fix for Spotlight live activity freeze on iOS
- Fixes for buttons in Quiz mode
- Fixes for icons in the Deck Builder
- Minor bug fixes & improvements everywhere
As always, thank you so much for your support, and if you enjoy the update, we’d love a nice review Let us know what you think

We’re still working on the iOS version — it’s coming very soon. Can’t wait!
Not gonna lie… I kind of published the app by accident
But hey — too late now, it’s out there
So just take it, it’s yours now
This is our first Android release, and with so many different devices out there, things might break in unexpected ways
Let us know if everything works fine (or if it doesn’t!), your feedback really helps us improve

On the iOS side, we’ve made some progress recently, but we’re still facing a few issues. It’s a bit tricky due to how the app is structured and how strict (and vague) Apple can be with their requirements. We’re working on it, and while part of it is on us, it’s also not entirely in our control.
That said, we’re slowly but surely making progress — it’s been two months of back and forth, but things are moving.
As for Android: the app is 100% complete and fully ready to launch since February. Regardless of the iOS situation, we will be releasing the Android version this month 🤩
Our hope is to fix the iOS situation in the coming weeks so we can launch on both platforms at the same time. But we didn’t want to keep delaying the Android release just because of iOS.
So here’s the plan:
- We’re giving ourselves a few more weeks to try to sort out iOS.
- If the issue remains unresolved, we’ll move forward with the Android release anyway.
- In case of further delays on iOS, the app will be available exclusively to our Patreon supporters for now. The iOS version is already ready on our side — and this is the only way we can distribute it in the meantime.
If you’re on Android, you can also join the waitlist to get early beta access!

Thanks for the patience and support as always!

I’m excited to share an early preview of the Pokéos 2.6.0 update with you. Below you’ll find the full changelog attached.
You can access the beta here:
dev.pokeos.com
The main highlight is the new international card pricing feature!
Please let me know if everything works smoothly, as we’ve made a LOT of structural changes and optimizations.
We’ll officially release this update publicly on March 20th, celebrating the first anniversary of Pokéos 2.0. Unfortunately, as mentioned previously, we wanted to launch the iOS and Android apps on the same day, but there have been external delays outside our control.
However, in the next few days, we’ll definitely provide you Patreon supporters with beta access to the Android app, and hopefully—fingers crossed—also to the iOS version.
Thank you for your continued support!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to give you an update.
This week has been really rough for me physically, and I still haven’t fully recovered. I’ve been working non-stop on the app for over two months now, barely sleeping at night. I’ve been pulling insane hours just to get it finished.
The app itself is actually done—the iOS version is 100% complete, while the Android version only needs a few small refinements, but overall, it’s ready. The initial plan was to release it on March 20th, to celebrate the first anniversary of Pokéos’ public launch.
However, for the past weeks, I’ve been stuck fighting with Apple over the iOS release, which is extremely frustrating. Initially, they APPROVED the app for release on the App Store, so I moved forward with development, confident that everything was fine. But now, they’re making it incredibly difficult to publish it, despite the fact that there are plenty of other Pokédex and Pokémon-related apps already available in the App Store. I pointed this out to them, but I still haven’t received any clear reason for the rejection. Communicating with Apple has been a nightmare, and it’s wasting an insane amount of my time.
The app is fully ready, and I’m incredibly proud of how it turned out—it has widgets, Spotlight integration, quick actions, and so much more. I’ve put so much effort into making it great, but now I feel really demoralized knowing that all this work might go to waste.
I was always worried that Apple might reject it because it’s a Pokémon-related app, but after they initially gave me the green light, I kept going, only for them to backtrack now. This whole situation is infuriating.
At this point, the release might be delayed, not because of me, but because of Apple’s inconsistency. The app is ready, but if they keep blocking the iOS release, I might launch only the Android version first. As for iOS, I could offer a beta version through TestFlight exclusively for Patreon supporters with a premium account. That version wouldn’t have ads, tracking, or in-app purchases—since Apple wouldn’t allow it—but at least some people could still get access.
I hate the idea of limiting the iOS beta to a smaller group after all the work I’ve put into this, but at this point, my hands are tied. Lately, I haven’t been feeling great, and this whole situation is really bringing me down.
I’m sorry, I’m truly doing my best. I’ve worked so hard on this, and I’ll keep trying to find a solution.
Thank you all for your patience and support.

I wanted to give you an exclusive sneak peek at something I’ve been working on for a while now, so you can see how the development is going and the progress of the project you’ve been supporting
Here it is our Deck Builder!
(The video I shared is not a mockup but a working demo)
The entire structure for the deck builder/list is almost ready. At this stage, the only things left to add are the share page and the deck validation checks I shouldn’t take too long to finish those… but… I’ve been developing everything on a Chrome-based browser so far, and it’s been working perfectly. I was planning to optimize it further for mobile, but I’ve discovered that the tools I’ve used aren’t very Safari/iOS-friendly, and I’m facing quite a few technical issues. I’ve already spent several days trying to fix this (I want to keep the same smoothness you see now in the video—this is running on Chrome and works perfectly on desktop).
I really hope I don’t lose too much more time on this and can successfully fix and optimize it for Safari and mobile devices
That being said, I hope you like it! Once it’s ready, I’ll let you know and keep you updated!

A few days ago I silently released a major performance update to the site without saying anything. This is the first in a series of ongoing improvements aimed at making the experience smoother.
🚨What’s New? 🆕
You’ll notice a lot less loading during your time on the site! Now, when you navigate between pages and go back, you won’t have to reload the content each time. This means faster browsing between sections like card sets and episodes, without waiting for page reloads at every turn. (Watch the video)
This update brings several benefits to the server as well, reducing its load significantly, which should boost overall performance for the API and backend.
On the frontend, I’ve also made optimizations to reduce CPU usage and improve resource efficiency.
⚠️Known Issues‼️
However, this update required changes to almost every section of the site, so some bugs may have popped up as a result. I didn’t announce this update right away, knowing that some of you would likely run into issues while I continued testing and fixing things. If you experience any problems, especially with Trackers, please try refreshing to make sure everything saved correctly. I’ve tested things multiple times, but just in case, I apologize in advance if anything goes wrong. 🪲
What’s Next? 🔜
There are more performance updates coming soon! As the site grows, there are more sections and content to load, so these optimizations are essential to keep the site fast. Thanks for your patience and support as I continue to improve everything!

Starting in November 2024, any new memberships purchased through the Patreon app on iOS will be subject to Apple’s in-app purchase fees, leading to slightly higher costs for memberships on iOS devices.
*This fee only applies to new memberships made through the iOS app from November onward and does not affect current members.*
To help you get the best value, we recommend subscribing through a computer or other non-iOS devices. By doing so, you can avoid these extra fees, as this percentage goes directly to Apple, not to us.
We’re here to help you make the most of your support. Thank you for considering this option, and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Assets Archive:
There are all the ORIGINAL sprites/renders/animation, from both mainline and non-mainline games
They can be visualized in an easy way, zoom, pan etc.
There are all versions of HOME render, shiny, gender diff. etc

Art Archive:
This section is divided into “albums/folders” and are simply collections of images
Here we will put all the artworks and cool things, collections, scans, artworks etc
We’ll insert all the materials and the scans from Hi-Res Pokémon Project (he’s collaborating with us here) as soon as he’s back; then I’ll decide whether to insert / how to manage the concept art of the leaks (scared about DMCA so you can understand that), would be nice to have

We’ll have to try to keep everything up to date, in order and maybe add / find things that are missing
This week will be available for you Patron in beta
In the Art Archive you won’t find EVERYTHING as we still have to add / upload / check everything, we’ll constantly update with new collections!

A long time ago I was working on a new section but never finished it, so now I'm back on it: an assets/sprite viewer for each game!
Just like the Pokémon Details page where you can look at all sprites of a specific Pokémon, but finally a section to see ALL sprites from a game!
You'll be able to toggle shiny/female variants or check old render versions from Pokémon HOME
I've almost finished it so I'll give you preview/beta access to this section in a few days 🔥
