[0.6] Progress Update

Hey hey,

Day three of the patch is going well. As expected, I'll need another week to get through this important day (the day the AlwaysFan convention takes place, for those who've forgotten!). The renders are almost finished, I still have to finish a scene and do a lot of image editing. Then I'll be able to start coding the "clue finding" part, which is likely to give me a few brain knocks.

Most of the day will be spent in the Biggerman Tower, where we'll first spend some time with Emilie and Amanda in the heart of the convention. Emilie will be meeting her fans as well as other models. Then we'll head up to the offices in search of clues, accompanied by Natacha (and Iris, depending on your choices...). If this search goes badly, it could lead to a game-over, but if it goes well, we'll join Emilie again at the convention and get a job as a photographer for the following day. Then there's a sequence that depends on a choice you made earlier in the adventure that could allow Emilie to learn more about her family.

Finally, we'll go home to debrief everything. This will be followed by a sharing scene, but I'll be taking care of that on Day 4, which will be less full of content!

So there'll be plenty to do on the day, and lots of pretty girls in cosplay, it's sure to be a great day out!

[0.6] Progress Update

Hey hey!
The second day of this sixth week is over (I've just got to check that everything's working). Today's events follow on from those of the previous day and involve Emilie, Cassandra and Abby.

It starts with a scene where Emilie reads her mail announcing some events for the coming days. Then a photoshoot with Cassandra and Emilie (or Emilie alone if Cassandra is lost in your save). Then there's a visit to Abby's house (which may or may not take place, depending on the choices you made when you first met her in the RPG event), which could end up being a very hot affair... And finally, when you get home (or straight after the shoot if you haven't unlocked the Abby visit), there'll be an h-scene with Emilie (and Cassandra). All in all, there's plenty of entertainment for the day! Finally, there's a chat with Emilie to talk about the next day, which is going to be a very important day in the story, and the repeatable night h-scene that I was talking about on the next day. It's actually a set of several short scenes that you can choose from with the different costumes that Emilie has obtained over the story. I've still got to do the animations for these scenes, but I'll do them bit by bit as the patch progresses.

In total, this day includes 473 images and 29 animations. Next week I'll post the first sneak peeks of these two days for hyper fans! So stay tuned.

About the game, work is progressing. The writing of the second day is finished and I've started the renders and preparing some animations. Unlike the previous day, when there was a lot of dialogue and the RPG event took up a large part of the day, here we're back to the classics with some photoshoots, and several sex scenes... I'll tell you more next week!

[0.6] Progress Update

Hi everyone!

As the school year gets underway again, I'm back in the swing of things with a new patch and a new week for the game. The first day of this new week is well under way. I finished the renders and animations last night, now I still need to do some image editing, integrate them into the code, add sound effects/musics and check for bugs.

This first day will start with an outing in the company of Emilie, where you'll be joined by Cassandra and also Abby, who'll be making a comeback after a week without any news!

After this outing, we'll move on to a big mmorpg event with Emilie, Abby and Jenna, where a lot of things will happen. This will normally be the only RPG event of the week, so I've spent a bit more time on it, especially for the renders.

Of course, all the characters other than Emilie mentioned above will only appear if they're not "lost" in your savegame. I'm also planning to add a new repeatable night scene with Emilie, but I'll take care of that on a less busy day.

In total, this day includes 430 new images and 7 animations.

[0.5] Progress Update

Hey hey!

This is the last progress update of this episode! The latest work is going wel, I've finished updating the AF gallery (the one with your photo shoots) with a few small visual improvements and I'm adding the new h-scenes to the replay gallery. I've also made a small change there, adding an "RPG" tab to put the "virtual" scenes there so as not to clutter up the other categories. 

Once it's finished, all I'll have to do is make a few small improvements to the renders/animations of old content I'd planned, compile the different versions, check that everything works and upload. I'll be announcing the dates next Saturday, but normally it should be Saturday 12 August for the hyperfans!

Hey hey!

The last day of the episode is going well! I've almost finished the renderings and I'll be able to tackle the coding part, which will take a bit longer than the other days.

As I said before, this day is all about Emilie. The day is divided into 4 different events. I'm going to avoid spoilers here, especially as we're getting closer to the episode release. Just know that two of them are available to everyone, the third is a variant of the first but requires Emilie to post nudes on AlwaysFan and the last is a sharing event.

Hey hey!

Day six of the episode completed. All that's left is to add a few sound effects and check that everything's working. A day devoted mainly to Amanda, although a very important conversation with Emilie could take place depending on your previous choices... This day includes 349 renders and 22 animations.

This week, I'll be able to move on to the last day of the episode, which will focus exclusively on Emilie, with several different optional events depending on the route you've taken...

If all goes according to plan, the patch will be released in August, as I announced in the outro of the previous episode.

Day five is almost over. The renders and animations are done and the coding is almost finished. This day includes 388 new renders and 25 new animations.

During that day, you'll start with a shooting scene with Lea and Emilie as a duo. This will be followed by a short scene with Emilie, which will vary slightly depending on what happened the day before... And we'll finish with a long scene with Natacha, at the end of which you may finally be able to get down to business with her... And for those of you who are loyal to Emilie, I haven't forgotten you. If you've decided to keep it friendly with Natacha, you'll get a little bonus scene!

[0.5] Progress Update

Day four of the episode is almost finished. I still have a bit of coding to do, as well as adding sound effects and checking that everything works, but it'll be done by tomorrow.

A day made up of two big events, one concerning Cassandra if she's not on sharing route (and not lost, obviously) and a big NTR event involving Emilie, several boys and the possibility of adding other female participants to assist Emilie depending on your choices...

I may make a few more additions, but this day currently includes 483 images and 41 animations (some of the sharing scene are alternative versions of others with different participants).

Third day of the episode completed! A little earlier than I expected for once, which will allow me to polish some things from the two previous days that I wasn't 100% satisfied with!

A day mainly dedicated to Iris, which will allow you to get even closer to her (if you are in a relationship, of course) and also significantly influence her fate. There will be three different playable scenes here with her and leading to two different "conclusions" of the day (Depending on both your previous choices and an important choice happening that day), so again quite a bit of replayability.

There will also be a scene with Emilie, to satisfy those who focus on her and do not wish to have a relationship with Iris.

The following day will include a big sharing event, as well as an event with Cassandra for those who don't share her!

Day two of episode 5 is over (well almost, I still have a few things to finish, but it will be over tomorrow). As I said before, it's a day that mainly concerns Jenna, with three different events depending on the job she has in your playthrough (or a mini scene in case you've lost her...). In addition, there is an MMORPG scene with Emilie and a sharing scene.

In total this day includes 407 renders and 45 animations (Of course to see them all, you'll have to play multiple playthroughs!). 

The next day will concern Iris and will be crucial for her fate...

[0.5] Progress Update

Hey hey!

The work on the 5th episode is going well. The first day is finished as well as the writing of the second, At the moment I am working on the first renders and animations of this second day (and there are many).

This one is mainly about Jenna, with different scenes depending on her work, so a day that can vary in three ways depending on your playthrough. I also added a MMORPG scene since I had only positive feedback about that on the previous episode, so those who lost Jenna in their game won't have an empty day.

However, I lost some time at the beginning of the week, there was a big wave of hacking all over the world by American hackers and some of my email addresses have been compromised but nothing to worry about, everything is back to normal now. I just wanted to warn you that even if like me you have strong passwords, different on each site and even double authentication active, nothing is ever 100% safe, so stay vigilant on that!

Poll and suggestions for a dialogue!

The development is going well, the first day of the 5th episode is almost finished. The writing and the renders are done but there's still a bit of coding to do. In this day I added a scene that wasn't planned but fit well, a walk in the park with Emilie (This event is optional if she's not your girlfriend) and I thought it would be a good opportunity to involve the community. So if you have any suggestions for their conversation, like things you'd like to know about Emilie that haven't already been said, now's your chance! Make your suggestions in the comments (Again, I remind you that this dialogue is only present if you're nice with her).

I would also like to take the opportunity to make a poll to know the choices you made in your story (and if you have made several playtroughs, which one is your favorite). It won't affect the content, it's just curiosity on my part and also for possible future projects that could come after AlwaysFan. It's multiple choice of course.

Hey hey!

I wanted to write you a message today to thank you. Although I know that this number is boosted by the release of the episode and that will drop at the end of the month, we have passed the 50 patrons mark with this release. Without you, your encouragement and your feedback, I would probably not have the motivation to devote so much time to this project, thank you very much for that!

Regarding the game, as always during the release period, I haven't touched the code yet in order to be able to quickly correct the bugs without alternating between a backup and the new version, which is a risk of creating more errors. However, I've not been idle, I have already made good progress on the writing of the events and certain dialogues of episode 5, and I have also already started the first renderings, which concerns as you can imagine Emilie and Cassandra.

I hope you all enjoyed the last episode, all the feedback i received was very positive and I'm very happy about that!

[AlwaysFan 0.4] Bug Fixes

Hi everyone,

Here is a small bug fix regarding two problems that have been reported. As these problems occur before week 4, if you load a savegame starting from the end of episode three, these bugs don't affect you and you can ignore this message.

- An error appearing when trying to check Cassandra's relationship screen before week 4 if she is your girlfriend.

- A problem in Lea's conversation, during episode 3, which does not take into account a previous action of the player.

Just download the archive, unzip, merge the "game" folders and say yes to overwriting the files.

[0.4] Progress Update

Hey hey!

The episode is almost ready! The galleries and the relationship screen are up to date (I've also improved the latter visually and added some little info about the girls).

This week I'm going to dedicate it to improve visually several animations of the first 2 episodes as I said before. The patch note should be out next week, then I'll compile the files and test that everything works and if it goes well, the release will start the following week (probably the 26th for Hyper Fans, the 30th for Super Fans and the 2nd of April for the others, but this is not yet official).

[0.4] Progress Update

Hi everyone!

It's the home stretch, the 7th and final day of the episode is underway and already well underway. The writing is done, as are some of the renders and animations. It should be finished next weekend. 

After that I have to update the gallery with the new content, and the relations screen as well. Finally I also plan to re-encode several animations from the previous episodes that I consider too laggy or of poor quality compared to what I can produce now.
