October Channel Update
October is here, so here's a channel inner-workings update thing!
TL;DR version: Going to start Detention for Halloween next week. When I finish with Zero Time Dilemma, I'll start another longer series (poll incoming).

CURRENT STUFF
Right now, my schedule is:
- 2 longer games, 4x/week (currently: Zero Time Dilemma, NieR: Automata)
- 1 shorter game, 2x/week (currently: Kentucky Route Zero)
This is working out fine and I don't feel stressed at all! I'd like to play a little faster if newly released games pop up though. My general line of thinking is newly released games = play faster if I can, older games = play at a more leisurely pace.
ZTD and N: A are going as usual, but KRZ is interesting from a LPing-on-YouTube perspective. I feel like it’s got something unique that I want to keep digging at, but it's incredibly niche, which puts me at a “do I keep playing this because I like it, or do I stop because not many other people do” situation.
I think this is a challenge that a lot of broadcasters come across. There’s a ton of awesome, unnoticed stuff out there that I’d hate to pass up just because they’re "not mainstream enough”, but at the same time, this entire thing is only made possible because I play things people are interested in watching. It’s a tough question and I don’t have any answers, but I fully intend on finishing KRZ at the very least.
UPCOMING STUFF
In the spirit of Halloween, I’ll be starting.... Detention next week! (Sorry it's not SOMA... yet!!! I need some horror warm-up first lol.) I’ve already played a little, but I’m having trouble building a backlog because I’ve been too scared to play more....
October doesn’t seem like a crazy release month for my interests but I’m keeping an eye on:
- The Evil Within 2: Haven’t played the first one, so I have just a drive-by interest in this (= will be on a look out for reviews).
- Hidden Agenda: New game from Supermassive (Until Dawn dev). This caught my attention when it was steathily announced at E3, but it seems like it’ll be short based off its price tag ($20 USD).
- Wolfenstein 2: I don’t think I’ll be able to start and finish Wolfenstein TNO + DLCs to catch the release in time, but I’ll be paying attention to reviews and all that good stuff.
N: A will take a while more but I think I’ll finish ZTD within the month, which will free up a “long game” slot! I’ll make a poll with stuff I’m interested in filling that slot with closer to when that happens. Preliminarily, I’m thinking along the lines of The Witcher, Dishonored, The Longest Journey, or the Metro series. (Feel free to suggest things! I’ll add it to the poll if I’m interested.)
