Hey everyone,

I’m still adjusting to drawing and writing again. The reason I’m taking a while is due to some disconnect I have with myself a year ago. I’ve gone through the most this school year, not fairly pretty experiences, and the way I think is so much more different than how I used to.

The person who used to illustrate my comics a year ago is still me, but I have grown a lot since then. A year ago, I tried to accommodate everyone's preferences in my comics, but I've come to realize that's not always sustainable or realistic. As a result, I'm making some changes to TPG's writing. I've let go of ideas that felt forced or overly complicated because I was trying to explain too much. This shift has been less stressful and has motivated me to continue the series.

After months of hiatus, I finally have time to resume TPG hehe. Hope you guys didn't wait too long 🫶

Why I've Been M.I.A.

Hey, everyone. It's been a while since my last post, and I think I need to shed some light as to why I've been MIA. I've been quite busy, especially as an incoming college freshman dealing with a load of schoolwork, including our thesis, finals, and college entrance exams. It’s been difficult to balance both academics and regularly posting comics.

When I was most active, it was during the summer when I had a lot of free time. Back then, I could manage posting every three days, which meant 10 episodes per month. I even considered drawing 100 episodes in advance to fill in my absence to focus on school. However, reaching 100 episodes turned out to be a far-fetched goal, and I could only manage 10 episodes (which wouldn't last the entire year). Creating and illustrating a story is a lot more challenging than I thought and it requires a lot of creative thinking.

Sadly, that creative thinking is severely stunted by academic stress and other factors. I’m a fairly diligent student and I also do try to maintain above average grades, but to pair that with balancing an online presence, the idea seems nearly impossible. When you wake up at 6 AM, return home at 5 PM, and still have schoolwork during week nights and weekends, all you want to do is lay down. I even bought an iPad Pro thinking I could draw during classes, but it ended up being used mostly for school.

I've contemplated taking a gap year to focus on TPG, but such a big decision comes with a lot of doubts. While I really REALLY want to continue TPG, it’s just not within my current capacity. I'll be graduating 12th grade this June, and I might FINALLY have some freedom around mid-May until the end of summer.

I haven't lost passion for this series, and I still hope to continue the story. I really do apologize for not posting regularly. I always think I can draw at least once a week, but it's been a struggle. I always feel guilty for not delivering the content you all deserve, but I hope this PSA provides answers to your questions. I'm taking a break until I graduate in May, and I hope that clears things up. To those who have been patient with me, all I can say is your support have helped me immensely. Again, I’m sorry and thank you all.
