1. Cheaper subscription tier

New 5$ tier only with access to all scenes.

7$ tier will finally get voting power for the next scene polls.

Changes will appear before Scene 5 will be done.

(I make this decision because the new way to create scenes is way more easier then the first two scenes, and before starting Patreon I was think about 8$ and even 10$. But now I think 5$ is reasonable)

Progress update

Scene 5: Succubus night.

Classic scene idea, with three skin variants. Work in progress and I hope you would like it.

About schedule, looks like posting at Fridays works for me, and I will try to maintain two weeks per scene.

This scene gives me the second idea which you may not like, but I will try to make it interesting, Scene 6: Incubus POV, you are the demon who visits the sleeping girl.

Now the important part.

I would make a poll about each topic.

1. Cheaper subscription tier, only for downloading scenes. 5$

2. New scenes ideas, I need a way to get ideas from you, for making polls for 7$ tier.

3. Do we need a Discord for sending ideas and general feedback about scenes?

Progress update

Scene 4: Vampire mate.

Around half is done, finalized the environment, the looks, and a couple animations.

(The room was a problem, a lot of remodeling and texturing. Maybe it's unnecessary work but I think it show my ability to realize a wide range of scene ideas).

Also doing things here and there, and it seems that I need the next week too, but I'm sure it will be done before the end of the month.

Correcting plans

I made a decision that works for me, but here is the pool anyway, for statistic (What do you like the most?).

I will try (№2) 10-14days schedule for one scene of 8? 10? couple sec loop poses. Fantasy themes? (there is enough regular stuff creators). Always with environment (I hate that blank black space). With a Progress update maybe in the middle of a scene creating.

About pool variants, other creators, scene types, posting schedules, animation types.

  • Before TimeLine, the cycle force / animation patterns / scene animation tab. For me it's outdated, complicated and lacks editability, but some old creators still use it because they know it. (from couple weeks up to a month per scene).

  • Full body motion capture. Looks decent but almost not editable, only remade if has bugs. (around 4-10 days per scene).

  • Mocap by VR controllers with multiple passes for each body part. It should be fast way to animate but there is almost no way to edit a part of recorded animation, and require remaking of a part that looks wrong. Also synchronize records is a problem. (from a week to a month per scene).

  • PC hand crafted animation of a pose with one simple loop move. Easiest type of animation and most used (>50% of all VAM scenes). (from couple days to couple weeks).

  • PC long animation. Has total creation control but require crazy amount of time. (up to one month for a big scene).

  • Mix of VR controllers mocap for some body parts and PC animation for the rest. Looks promising but jumping in VR each time is not really manageable. (also up to a month).

Theme for scene 3 about vampire will be postponed, I have a better idea that I think VAM wants now.

Correcting plans

Planning is good, but connecting it with reality is better.

Basic Idea is that allowing one scene be later then in a month will not work. I need multiple scenes per month.

Currently I (even more) looking at other creators, even outside of VaM. About content type, amount, schedule, looking at their experience.

When I will figure out how to do better, I will repost this message with result (maybe pool) .

And thanks to all of you who believed in me, even with this condition.

Progress update

Next scene will be in more common format for VAM.

Half of the scene posted as free and a full scene as paid on Patreon.

Scene 2: Halloween Spirit (I know it's not time but anyways..)

About 90% done, it has big progress already and now I was rework it.

Planning on post it before the end of this month. (at this week)

Scene 3.

About 10% done, I want to try to finish it within one month but I give it 50/50 chance.

Why making scenes take so much time?

Unfortunately I have other stuff to do. But if I look at compressed work time, scene 2 should took about 12 full time work days, and I somehow spent maybe 20 days in total...

Part of it because of I don't have enough experience, redo bad parts and learning making animations took most of the time.

In the future I think about adding Polls about next scene theme. Maybe after 4th or 5th scene.

Welcome to my patreon

First thoughts about Patreon was around June 2022, and I started real preparation in September 2023.

These months I spent learning about programming on C#, entire Unity Editor, writing simple Shaders, looking inside VAM code to create Plugins, creating Animations, (on top of the already known, some coding and 3d modelling / texturing). All this in order to be able to create any scene I want.

Also now I have created some plugins that will increase the speed of making new scenes. (SkyboxColor, DLUtils, ParticlesControl, DependencyViewer). https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/authors/demonlord.39050/

Today I feel ready for publication. And I have the Ideas for first 4 scenes, with progress of first 3.

Consider support me if you like my free content and find my plugins useful.

P.S. Creating scenes like this is 10 times harder than it seems, I was not ready for this. Especially animations, for me who never did this. They take about 70% of the time (not including plugins), and half of it goes to the transitions between poses.
