Hey all! I have something special today…
About 5 years ago I purchased a Macintosh clone by UMAX—the SuperMac C500. I started filming an episode about it but The Krazy Ken Curse struck and sh*t hit the fan.
However, I never got back to finishing the episode… but about 5 years later Brainiac Brent tinkered with it while I was working on the "antennas" scam-buster episode!
This bonus episode contains footage from the canceled project, and an unscripted breakdown/commentary of how Brainiac Brent and I (mostly Brent) fixed the clone. Enjoy!
This bonus episode will release to the public as an unlisted YouTube upload on May 10.

Hey all! Here's some more behind-the-scenes filming! My friend and channel artist, Heidi, drew some illustrations for this episode! I know I've done charger-related scams in the past, but this is new. I didn't take the time to explain that in the post, so forgive me. There's been lots of developments since my last charger episode (2.5 years ago).
There's 2 new ads to look at, and a few websites. There's also new false claims to deal with (like carbon nanotube tech) and there's an update on Apple's Batterygate lawsuit that I'd like to share. It relates to this scam.
Also, I'm approaching the testing with some more proper strategies, and I'm physically dissecting this product, too! I didn't do that in the last episodes. I'm also discussing another concept which relates to many of my scam-busters: dropshipping. All of that, and more, will be in this episode! Lots of new, fun stuff to show!

Hey all! Brainiac Brent has been HARD at work on getting the Google Nexus Q up and running. Despite this product being from Google (a big and successful company) it did not sell for long, and support for it was shut down long ago. This makes it impossible to use it exactly like it was "back in the day", but Brent has some tricks up his sleeves…
I now have the Q set up in my office and I'm tinkering with it while I write the script for this episode. We also have some $10 thrift store speakers hooked up to it with good ol' banana plugs!
