New cover ! Two new pages (57 for now) ! The second-to-last act of the book begins !
Basically, I was deeply unsatisfied with the previous two covers. And now, that is NOT the case at all. Really proud of that one, and it's going to be the art direction for every book cover (21 left lmao) from now on. Now, I know what I’m doing and where I’m going with this.
Surprisingly, not as much as a pain in the ass to make as you’d think. Pretty relaxing, even ! Huge thanks to Nicolas Delort who’s obviously the main inspiration here (Doré too tbh) and who’s a goddamn beast to be able to do way more impressive stuff traditionally.

It’s August, birthday month, and annual holiday for me ! Now, what does that mean ? It means I’m gonna rest. I have to or I'll go insane lmao.
Though, obviously, I can’t just not create for a whole-ass month - this very concept is insane to me - so we’ll see each other at the end of the month when I’ll dump a few pics/pages in your laps and resume things as normal in September.
Until then, no art updates whatsoever. My rhythm will be as cool as a cucumber. I hope so.
