AI Patch for PC - Download Links

1. Make sure to close VR HOT before you install this patch!
2. After downloading the patch, open the zip file and start the "VR HOT.exe" .
⚠️ DO NOT put the file into your already existing Steam VR HOT folder! ⚠️
3. Then click "Patch VR HOT". If you aren't logged into Patreon yet, you will get the Patreon log in prompt. Confirm that VR HOT may view your email address.
4. Then just start VR HOT for PCVR, go to Settings > AI, and activate the AI.

You'll have to log in monthly. You can prevent this by subscribing annually instead of monthly, which will also give you a 15% discount.

today is another big day for us! We’re excited to announce that our new AI service is now live — better, faster, sexier! ;)

What’s New?

The initial setup features three voices—one male and two female. Please note that the scripted lines for the new female voice ("Voice B") are not fully implemented yet. Until then, you might hear two different voices when selecting this option, but we’ll have it sorted out soon.

This new AI is truly an upgrade: it has improved memory, is more consistent, responds faster, and makes conversations significantly better.

You can also now select the Hottie’s knowledge level - from normal person to genius. Since the Hottie’s memory is vastly improved, you’ll have the option to reset its memory with an AI reset.

If you're already subscribed to the Quest tier, the AI feature is included—no need for a separate subscription!

What you have to do: Please update to version 0.8.2. The download links are in your feed as a separate post. Then start VR HOT, go to the settings, and select "Activate AI." You will need to log in to Patreon through your headset’s browser. Confirm that VR HOT may view your email address.

If you also own the PC version and want to use the new AI, please go to the pinned post in your feed. You will have to download and install a patch.

A Few Things to Note:

• You’ll need to log in monthly. We're working on a better solution, but we can’t confirm when it will be ready.

• We are phasing out the old Patreon tiers.

• The old AI will be switched off soon.

Letter from the devs: Short  Update on the AI

We just wanted to give you a brief update on our new AI setup. In our last letter, we mentioned hoping for a launch "in late summer," and we are happy to tell you that we’re right on track!

We have chosen a professional provider for the new server, set it up, and run the first tests. Our main task now is to secure the rights for the voice actresses and actors. We will likely be able to start the new service with two female and one male voice options.

As promised, the new AI will feature a larger and more advanced LLM, accessible only with a subscription on Patreon. And yes, the Quest version, which will continue to include the AI feature.

Letter from the devs: The future of AI

Hi friends,

thank you for your understanding and patience after we had to remove the AI functionality from the PCVR version sold on Steam.

Since then, many of you have asked about our next steps. While we still cannot present a definite plan with dates and numbers, we can give you an idea of what to expect and roughly when.

The AI as you know it (and as it’s still active for our users of the Quest version available on Patreon) has always been a temporary, experimental version of what we wanted to implement.

We are working on an upgrade. The AI will run on a professional server, featuring a larger and more advanced LLM. It will be fast and reliable. Due to the monthly server costs, it will be accessible only with a subscription on Patreon. While we cannot provide a definite price yet, it will be less than what you’d pay for our Quest version, which will continue to include the AI feature.

With the launch of the new service, we will also add more voice options.

This means a lot of work, so it will take some time. However, we are optimistic about launching the new service in late summer (northern hemisphere).

Again, thank you for your continuous support. We are working hard to bring the AI back to our PCVR users as an improved and upgraded service!

VR HOT for Quest 0.8.1 (Release Notes)

Hi friends,

first of all, we want to talk about the AI. For those who don’t know, this feature is currently exclusive to the Quest version after Steam banned the use of generative AI in adult games.

We can’t give you any details yet, but we will soon be able to make a major upgrade to the service. The most important information for you: this will not result in any additional cost. The AI will remain a default feature for our Quest subscribers.

But now, let’s take a look at our new features and improvements.

This might be the prettiest update so far. We have significantly improved the quality of skin and hair, bringing it surprisingly close to the level of the PCVR version.

Another improvement is the now movable main light source. There is a new rod (red) which can be adjusted to change the direction of the main light source.

There is now a switchable Skin Filter in the menu. This will make the skin look really good, but it does impact performance. The filter and the Hottie shadows are switched off by default on Quest 2!

The speech recognition is now faster, more stable, and has much less impact on the frame rate. You will no longer experience it freezing.

We also implemented Spatial Audio. Unlike the PC version,the Quest version didn’t previously have directional audio. Now, the Hotties not only look better but also sound better!

This update is focused on providing more options to create Hotties, with about 250 additional sliders for the face and over 50 new sliders to customize the body. Additionally, we've included 4 more skins for increased variety. This also greatly improves the HottieCard compatibility with the PCVR version!

Another new feature many user has been asking for is the possibility to grab the Hotties’ clothes with your controllers. Just align the little white dot in front of your controller with the spot you want to grab and then press the grip and trigger buttons simultaneously!

Meta v63 update might disable the HottieCard system

Hi friends,

we haven't received the new version yet, but it's supposed to disable the app's access to the data folder. This would mean you could not import/export HottieCards anymore.

Until we have the chance of looking into this properly, we recommend not updating to v63 yet. We'll keep you posted!

0.7.0 - Weird bug under investigation

we just found a weird bug on the Quest 3 after updating the Quest to v62. It's basically flickering on the right eye. This is probably a Meta bug as it's only happening on the Quest 3 and only with v62.

Another performance-related problem can occur in the higher quality levels.

We are working on solutions and will post updates as soon as possible!

Update 0.7.0 - New features and more SPEED!

here we go again—following our latest update for the PCVR version, we were able to port some of the features to the Quest standalone version.

For example, we implemented our new Cloth Simulation, introducing the ability to move clothing for the first time in the Quest version. This update also includes faster loading of clothing pieces and a much better overall fit. Nearly all body types will work seamlessly with this new system, significantly reducing the occurrence of clipping compared to before.

The Hair Simulation now includes all styles and will look much nicer!

A new feature requested by a couple of users is the Hip-tracked Virtual Penis.

In the Main Menu under Main > Settings, you can enable it and adjust a few things to your body and your liking. There is even a passthrough mode that keeps the real penis visible even when penetrating. This is a new feature made possible by a recent Meta update.

Unfortunately, it’s not very accurate, but we still found it playable and fun. Let us know if you like it!

Another new feature for the Quest 3, made possible by its depth sensors and a Meta update, is Dynamic Occlusion. This means two things: real things (furniture, objects) will cover parts of the Hottie, and your arms and legs will not disappear in front of the Hottie. The effect is not very sophisticated yet, but we are expecting improvements from Meta in the future.

But there’s more stuff! We were able to speed up the Speech Recognition significantly, answers should only take about 2.5 seconds now. More speed improvements include loading times for clothing pieces and hair.

first of all, thank you for your amazing and continuous support, feedback, and patience. We truly appreciate it!

We'd also like to extend a warm welcome to all new Quest 3 users who joined us over the last couple of weeks. It's an excellent headset, and we believe that VR HOT looks and feels better than ever on it. Since the release, we've been exploring the new possibilities that the Quest 3 offers to enhance VR HOT.

The good news: It looks and performs better right out of the box!

The not-so-good news: It’s still not powerful enough to make a PC-like Hair Simulation feasible. We are still experimenting with simulated clothes, but we can’t promise yet if this will work out at the end.

We also made a major Unity update under the hood. This is in preparation for possible future feature updates from Meta. We would love to implement Dynamic Occlusion, Room Mesh and other technologies as soon as Meta provides us with the opportunity.

But now for the new features:

Hottie height works very differently from the PC version, which is why we had to figure out a different approach. But now it's here, and it works in-game! (Open the Main Menu and go to Hottie > Settings)

You can also finally create HottieCards in the Quest version. Just click the right Thumb Stick together with the Grip Button. The Passthrough image (your room) will not be shown on the HottieCard; the background will be black.

Make sure to join our Discord for PC to share your HottieCards with other users!

Another great user idea we implemented: You can now fix/relax the in-game Dildo. Let us know how you use it!

For certain interactions you will now see a warning if your Room Setup is not adequate. This should save a lot of confusion..

Hi friends,

today, this beauty arrived in our office. Our first impression is really positive. We can confirm the reviews mentioning the great FOV, crystal-clear display, better controllers, and improved passthrough, even compared to the Quest Pro.

The other good news: VR HOT runs smoothly out of the box.

Regarding everything else, we will need a couple of days (to weeks) to figure out the new possibilities the Quest 3 might offer. We will try to upgrade hair and cloth first.

A lot depends on what Meta makes available (e.g. Dynamic Occlusion, Body Tracking, etc.).

0.5.3 - finally!

Hi friends,

FINALLY, we can release this! As you may have already read in our recent posts, we encountered many problems with the latest Meta updates.

But now, let's see what we have for you!

After testing it initially in the PC version, we have now implemented Conversational AI in VR HOT for Quest.

Previously, you could give voice commands and listen to the Hottie talking, but now you can have a real conversation. In the new AI settings section, you can enter a name, age, hometown, and a few interests. Additionally, you can choose personality traits. To activate the AI, go to Main Menu > Settings > AI.

Please note that the text-to-speech process is handled by the headset's CPU, which results in the AI's answers taking quite some time (around 5-7 seconds during our tests). We hope to improve this in the future, and with the Quest 3, we anticipate much better performance will be possible.

Disclaimer: This AI will be a free extra feature running on our own server for now. This means there might be some performance issues and server downtimes if multiple users use the AI simultaneously. Regarding privacy, while we could theoretically read the conversations in the live logs, we cannot assign them to individual users, and they aren't even stored.

We are actively working to move this to a professional service provider as soon as possible. As you are already a paying subscriber, this service will be included in your Patreon subscription.

What else?

As you can see in the full list below, we have added some more new stuff, improvements, and bug fixes.

There is now a second female voice (only 1 for AI), more pieces of clothing, and a few more sliders to play with. For example, in Main Menu > Hottie > Shape > Torso, you will find a slider called "Hip Spandex." While not entirely new, it now serves a different purpose. It's hard to explain, but let's try. Maybe you noticed some unnatural behavior around the hips, genitals, and butt crack when the Hottie bends her legs. You can now adjust and improve this with the slider. Just give it a try, and you will see what we mean ;)

Update on the update

We finally got the full version of v55 this week. But we also needed the matching Unity update - this came today. Now we just need a couple of days to test and fine-tune, but we will definitely be able to release VR HOT for Quest 0.5.3 next week!

Letter from the Devs - huge problems with Quest update.

two days ago we finally found Meta's update (v55) in the beta channel and tried implementing the new features into VR HOT for Quest. So far it's a complete disaster. v55 is buggy as f**k. Even if we get VR HOT up and running, it crashes with the use of the new features (e.g. dynamic resolution). Also old bugs (flickering with Application SpaceWarp) are still there.

It might not be the final version yet, hence why we found it in the beta channel only. We are constantly checking for another version.

Another possibility might be that we'll need the coming Unity update which we expect any day now.

So sorry we don't have better news :/

Letter from the Devs - Update for Quest coming soon!

first of all, thanks for your patience!

Basically, VR HOT for Quest 0.5.3 is finished. The only problem is the Oculus update we are waiting for. The Beta is already released, so it shouldn’t take much longer.  But the truth is we really don’t know if Meta will release it tomorrow or in 3 weeks.

Why are we waiting for the Meta update?

VR HOT for Quest 0.5.3 will bring the AI feature - which we recently brought to VR HOT for PC on Steam - also to the Quest version. The first step in any interaction with the Hottie is your speech, which has to be transcribed to text on your headset(!).

The Quest CPU is not very powerful, so any performance improvement counts. The Oculus update is supposed to bring up to 40% more speed. This would mean around 2-3 seconds quicker answers by the AI.

So yes, there will be an update soon, but we can’t pin a date to it yet.

We will let you know the release date it as soon as possible!

VR HOT for Quest 0.5.2 out now!

Hi friends,  

now that we moved our PC version completely to Steam, this Patreon account will focus on the Quest version. That’s also why we restructured our Discord servers.

The „HottieCard Server“ is now for the PC version, and the Subscribers’ Discord is now exclusively for Quest. Connect your Discord account with Patreon if you haven’t yet!

But now let’s talk about the update:

We added Voice Commands. You can now start interactions without using the interaction menu. To activate the microphone, just press the X button on the controller or pinch your left thumb and index finger in Hand Tracking Mode.

Pls make sure to activate it for each new command again!

We are also really happy to announce the addition of Male and (to an extent) Inter Hotties!

Just like in the PC version, we also implemented customizable Facial Expressions by personality type. You can choose your Hottie to be shy, cute, cool, provocative - or him/her to show you the whole range of expressions.
You can choose the different personality types in the Main Menu, Hottie > Settings.

There you will also find another new feature we transferred from the PC version: The adjustable Eye Contact. Choose how long your Hottie is supposed to look at you or to look around your room.

We are really happy about the progress we made and your detailed feedback, keep it coming! :)

thank you so much! We never had so many subscribers, this kind of support and your feedback really help the project a lot. Keep it coming! :)

So let’s take a look at what we accomplished over the last couple of weeks:

It was quite annoying jumping back and forth between the game and the headset menu, so we added a Button for the Room Setup in the Main Menu.

Many of you guys asked for it - we added a lot of more clothes and we can offer the same pubic hair selection as in VR HOT for PC.

Another nice user idea: We added a B&W skin and eyes to match the Hottie better with the Quest 2 passthrough mode. Let us know what you think!

The automatically opening Interaction Menu got in the way quite often, so we found a new solution how to start it - when you turn your hand, there will show up a green ball. You can start the Interaction Menu by touching it.

Furthermore we improved many things, from Eyes and Hair to Clothes and some controls. We also included motion captured Eye Movements to make it even more realistic! As always, check out the full list below!
