After several days of hard work on the parts of RoMS, Gara-the-Author, and NovaQuill, Chapter 3 is ready for human consumption! I'll formally post the chapter on fimfiction on Friday, but this should be as ready to go as it will be!

Lilly is a Bechstein's Bat! Native to Europe and Asia, Bechstein's bats used to be very common throughout their range. They have become relatively rare in recent years due to increases in agriculture, and the destruction of ancient growth forests that they call their homes. They are listed as Near Threatened on the endangered species list, which is really sad because they like making snacks out of flies, and other harmful pests that could damage crops.

Spot was one of my bats that I 'adopted' to support the efforts to save bats. He is a Spotted Bat, and they are native to North America! They have a range from a bit north of my home, all the way down into Mexico. They eat pest insects like flies and mosquitos, and help keep problem bugs from, well, being problems!

So I sponsored bats through Bat Conservatory International (http://www.batcon.org), and as part of that, you can symbolically adopt bats! That was one of my first goals, and because I basically met and exceeded both goals in a month (and working about 40 hours of Overtime), I sponsored 2! Meet Spot and Lilly, the new guardians of my monitors! Also pictured, several of the posters that I got from the Russian fans as part of the package!

Omg! The awesome folks from the Russian translation team for Speak sent me a package! They met up at BronyconRU and sent me a few things, along with a copy of Speak! I was so excited, and this is so cool! And my little handmade Threnody plushie is so darling!

Ok, so I had to wait till I got paid, but I ended up working a lot of overtime the past month, so I uh... well, adopted 2 bats. And got 2 of the cute bat plushies from Bat Conservatory International. Because they are cute! Pictures to come when they arrive! But I am excited and also shouldn't be allowed to have more money than my bills. XD

Happy New Year Everyone! Well, it's just me because I'm just launching this, but I wanted to start off with a bang! I am releasing my notes on the Heartmenders that Threnody has gotten to know through the years of working with the Followers, and I'm letting everyone see it cause they're all just that awesome! I'll be periodically releasing content like this for Official Followers of the Apocalypse tiers and higher. I'll also be working on getting the things out for anyone who decides to support me throughout the next day or so!
