Here's that Bedlam preview I mentioned earlier. So one of the things I wanted to do with this, is have scripted stories that I'll concoct between the different characters I'll be adding to the game. They'll look something like this. Also, we've got a proper character select screen now! =)
Still working on some stuff with the model details, but it's getting there.
2023-11-07 23:32:35 +0000 UTC View PostAfternoon all! I just sent out the initial build for Demon Tale! You can control Chako and walk around the simple track for a bit. This is the groundwork for what is now the official featured game, and I'll be building on this monthly until it's substantial! Just a note, right now a proper windows controller is necessary for this. I may add more control schemes in the future, but the priority for that is low, so..yeah...have that joystick =).
In other news, I should have some more Bedlam previews shortly, so look forward to that as well.
2023-11-05 18:16:45 +0000 UTC View PostWell here we are...This update will mark the final day that the main focus is on flash for this patreon. It might have taken a while, but we got here.
In this last major Vagrant Blade update, I've added what should be the bulk of the gameplay mechanics. Here are the changes:
-Every 5 enemies that you kill will refill your health, and make your character stronger. Defeating Melona will also do this.
-Melona gets stronger every time she respawns.
-Shield characters can perform a counter by pressing attack following a successful guard. Leina charges forward, Risty does an area attack, and Echidna can poison enemies. Cattleya can also guard, but her guard is different. It requires timing in order to get the counter off, but it does massive damage. Alleyne can now dash to avoid attacks, and is the only character that cannot be grabbed by thugs while she is standing.
-Simple scoring is in place.
-Thugs are a little harder now.
-You can now be defeated. You get kicked back to character select screen if you are grabbed while 0 health.
-Last but not least, seeing as this is the only mini game with significant male on female "interaction", I've put a disclaimer at the beginning so that I don't get yelled at.

Next month, I'll be attempting to have some initial Demon Tale stuff in Unity for you to mess around with.
Edit: Vagrant Blade had some bugs fixed.
2023-10-05 23:28:59 +0000 UTC View PostAfternoon patrons! In this month's Vagrant Blade update, I've added a small map system. It shows where your controlled character is in relation to the enemies. It will also display Melona differently than the mooks. I've also updated the HUD to show the correct character instead of always showing Leina.
The next update will quite possibly be the last update for this game. Afterwards, as I've said I'll be working on the Demon Tale game in Unity, and that will comprise the updates going forward.

I feel she came out all right, but I do gotta clean some things up on her, along with the other characters. She is actually based on a character from a craft em up game that's fully releasing this year. Brownie points to anybody who can say who my silly ol' model is supposed to look like XD.
The main point of this post however, is to get some initial thoughts on what characters some of you might want to see in the game. Consider characters that would work in the style the game is being made in, and let me know what your thoughts are. A character you suggest here might end up in the game at some point.

I want to add a few more moves, add a more detailed backdrop, clean up my models a little bit more, and then get a basic character select going. At that point, I believe "build 1" will be comprised, and I'll start looking into adding more characters/mechanics. Of course, this all moves forward if we can hit those goals. =)

In this Vagrant Blade update, I've added a distinct border. So no more walking endlessly into an ether. It should be easier to find enemies now, although I plan to make this even easier in future updates. I've also added the ability for shield bearing characters to actually use the shield. In future updates, will add abilities for Eileen and Cattleya, in place of using a shield.
For now, you can use the shield with the S key.
Also thanks for the heads up last update Pezantri. I do appreciate it.

Not only because I feel they're aesthetically better suited to the scenario, but also because the default outfits that came with the file aren't super geared towards animations outside of posing the character...I think...Not that mine are too much better, but I feel they look decent.
Also, added a move where you can pin your opponent and smooch them down. I'll definitely be building more on that =D.
2023-07-22 01:57:13 +0000 UTC View PostIt's about that time again. With not only the retirement of the patreon goals system, but my encroaching refrain from making flash games, I want to now lay out a new format, and how I'm planning to go about things, as I've hinted at doing recently.
First thing, you've probably taken notice of the new pinned post, and perhaps even the new description on the about page. You might be asking, "Why this line goal thing?"
For the past several months, even while Supergal was still prevalent, my number of patrons has been hovering roughly somewhere between 250 and 280, with temporary spurts every once in a while. Combine this with the fact that the games I've released for patreon are being pirated to kingdom come, and well....yeah. Now I need you to understand that I fully expected my games to be pirated to an extent. I would have to be a complete fool not to expect that...but it has gotten to the point where an actual patron contacted me and essentially asked
"Hey, do you mind giving me these games I don't have yet so I can add it to this free public collection I'm putting together? =3"
I'm not gonna say who that is for the sake of not having unnecessary drama, but maybe you see my point? The piracy wouldn't bother me if there was growth...but there's been no growth, and that's a little worrisome.
That said, the featured game definition has changed. This is now a game that is updated regularly. As mentioned, this is "Vagrant Blade" for the time being. As that's completed, it will then become "Demon Tale" and I'll start releasing builds for the game.
The new line goal game is none other than the game featuring Marinette that I posted previews of recently. The conditions for this game's release and updates will be posted as we go forward. I was originally planning something else with it, but now I've changed a few things. Currently, there is now a manual control mode implemented, as well as a simple way to switch between CPU and manual control on Marinette. To start, this build is available at 300 patrons. This will be updated with details and such in the pinned post.
I've been getting a lot of Unity practice lately as I'm sure some of you have already seen. I believe I'm ready to start posting more regular Unity stuff somewhat, especially since Vagrant Blade will be wrapping up soon.

In Unity related news, I've been delving into what making an action rpg game can entail, through my commission. Some of you might have seen/played this already. It is actually more involved than I thought, as it requires keeping track of a lot of things and organizing factors in code so that I don't get completely lost...I've got a decent handle on working with models and making them do what I want for the most part, but dealing with some of that code has been a whole other beast...well, nobody said it'd be easy...

So I'm perusing around the web, looking for some blender stuff, Unity tutorials and what will you, and I find this model of Ladybug(Marinette) that's absolutely gorgeous. So I start messing with it...one thing leads to another, and well...happy pride month! =D
I ended up digging more into Unity, and turns out there's something that's eluded me all this time called the HDRP (High Definition Render Pipeline). Decided to give that a try, and I gotta say I like the way it looks for the most part. Just when I'd think I'd have a handle on things, there's a whole architecture just lying there, that I'm completely unaware of.
If you recall, I mentioned starting a small uninvolved flash project to hold us over until I got Demon Tale up and running, but now I believe I've got a better idea.
So first thing about this, it's watch mode only. Omitting manual gameplay so that I can focus on this at my leisure and it doesn't take up too much time. I instead, want to incorporate voting into this, where patrons can vote on stats and attributes that they want a certain character to have, as well as which characters fight(when/if I can put in more characters). This can happen monthly at some point, and will be the supplemental draw once flash updates cease, following Vagrant Blade's completion.

Beat City Girls:
Added game over screens for when you lose to Mami. Also, added a function that lets you press the 4 key to instantly reduce health and willpower to 0. There is one more major update for this game on the way. That will essentially be victory screens for defeating Mami.
Vagrant Blade:
Added Melona grab for Echidna. I may or may not add more to this in the future. Next update I will most likely move on to the next character though.

Supergal:
This is the last voted update for this game. In this update, Sue gets her missionary, and receiving missionary from the referee now counts as a pin.
Vagrant Blade:
Added sexual animations for Melona on Risty.
Further thinking about it, I really feel I want to keep Melona's animations this simple. The more time I spend on this, the more I'm looking forward to focusing on future things.
With this being the last update for Supergal, voting is going to cease for the time being and I will be updating Beat City Girls and Vagrant Blade until completion, although Beat City Girls may be completed with it's next update.

Now getting into starting this 3D Demon Tale game, I've put together an initial model for Chako. Next, I'll do some initial rigging and make some poses.
After some basic movement motions and a simple initial attack, I'm thinking I'll make an enemy character, so I can sooner move towards getting a feel for what the gameplay should be like.

There is no virus.
Some over-bearing anti-virus programs detect games as false positives seemingly whenever they feel like it. If this is the case, then you just need to whitelist.
Not gonna miss this when I'm done with flash... u.u'

Beat City Girls:
You can now perform sexual attacks on Mami. What those attacks entail, I feel is very clearly hinted at by the items you need in order to do so. As stated previously, you can get those items at the start screen immediately by just pressing the 3 key.
The next update to this game may be the last.
Vagrant Blade:
Added initial sexual animations for Melona on Leina.
I'm debating on how extensive I want to make Melona's animations. I've got some neat ideas, but I don't want to drag this out too much...We'll see..

Beat City Girls:
I've added a vending machine and the ability to collect money in order to add a bit more nuance to the gameplay.
Using the number keys, you can spend money to buy two items that will allow you to use sexual attacks on the final boss. There will be a way to skip the small grind and buy those things immediately, along with the actual sexual attacks in the next update.
Vagrant Blade:
Melona's basic attacks and movement have been added. I've also increased the chance that she'll show up as you defeat enemies. For now, she uses thug's grab animations, but next update, I'll start implementing some for her, starting with Leina.

Beat City Girls
-Mami now gives Kyoko/Misako a good crotch pounding while they're downed, before giving them a hot pink dildo
Supergal
-Following her licking, the ref will give Maris either a dildo or a dick, depending on what option you've selected.
Sue will get hers next update.
Early this year (hopefully), I'm trying to wrap up all the flash stuff and start working on the Unity version of Demon Tale in earnest. I've made some good progress getting accustomed to Unity, and I'm almost ready to tackle the project. As I'm finishing up the final flash mini game, which will be Vagrant Blade, I'll start posting progress on Demon Tale's Unity development as I go along. I will also at this time, show you the simple game that we will use to replace the current voting system and preoccupy you while I get something solid for Demon Tale up and running.

-Taking a patrons suggestion, I've made it so that the breast smothering now moves into the upwards mounted position, at the point where the breast play starts
Beat City Girls:
-Mami has her initial move set now, topped with a crotch kick/slap combo
I've also toned down the mob count in Beat City, as I noted it could be a bit much in the previous update. Kinky stuff with the boss to come in following updates.
