ya girl caught the Ick...a quick update about my health

hey my companions, just wanted to let you all know I caught Covid last weekend, so I've been taking it easy and resting. no need to worry though! after getting plenty of rest and staying hydrated, I've been slowly but surely feeling better. I'm hoping by this weekend I'll be as good as new! (hopefully by self care sunday) but for now, things will be a lil slow until I get better.

It’s the start of a new week! I did a full moon ritual yesterday for my self care Sunday so I’m ready to take on the new week~

Hope you’re enjoying your Saturday! One of my lovely companions messaged me asking about the bookstore cat, I can’t believe I’ve never introduced you all to orleans!

He’s so sweet and fluffy and loves pets! Since our store flooded at the end of July, he’s now staying with a fellow bookseller. We’re still in the works of getting our downstairs together!

Sometimes I don't feel fully refreshed after my self-care Sundays, or I just need a little extra time to myself before the week begins. So on Mondays, I do a solitude ritual where I spend some time alone with myself to prepare for the week

it's been a pretty tiring Monday for me. I spent this labor day at the bookstore, and after a busy holiday shift, I'm happy to have this me time Monday to myself. 

I spent yesterday's self-care Sunday with friends at my local Japanese festival in the gardens! it was so much fun! everyone really liked my celestial look. I seriously had a blast, it was definitely needed. but of course, due to my clumsiness, my phone shattered while at the festival. so until I get a new one, I'll be inactive on social media for a while. but I'll still be active on here as usual~

I'm also going to be officially learning Korean and American sign language this month. I've signed up for classes for ASL, and I’ll be studying Korean via online classes and a workbook. I have a lot of big goals this month so I'm more determined than ever!
