Hello Awesome Fans and Supporters!
First, I want to apologize for the gap since my last update on the game's progress. But rest assured, I’ve been working consistently on the game this whole time. Things may be taking a bit longer than both you and I would like, but every day I dedicate as much time as I can to its development.
Also, no need to worry that I've disappeared—I'm here, checking and responding to messages daily, whether it's on here or on Discord. Those who have reached out to me know this. I get a lot of questions about when the release will happen, and my answer is always the same: I'm working on it continuously, but I don’t want to make any promises regarding a specific date. There are just too many factors that influence when everything will be completed, especially as we're working on additional improvements and introducing new features that will bring some areas of the story to life and make our VN game even better, and more immersive for everyone to enjoy.
I’ve held off on posting recently because I wanted to show you something special, but those updates are still a work in progress. I will definitely share them with you in one of the upcoming posts soon. I also want to keep focused on getting our new remastered expansion to the final stages of testing, and once this is done, we can finally announce an official release date as I mentioned in my previous Dev Updates. We believe you will like and appreciate our new VN Game, Life in Big City, once everything is completed and released. The new ongoing storyline, which has been expanded and improved significantly, now includes some new and very interesting characters you will come to discover in Victoria’s life journey.
As for what’s already finished, we’ve completed most major scenes, which were quite challenging and took a lot of time, considering the new and expanded storyline contributed to this as well. Alongside these new scenes, we’re also refreshing and improving parts of the VN game, as well as working on some new and very exciting features. Since they’re still in the prototype phase, I’m not showing them just yet. * However, to give you some ideas of what’s coming to Life in Big City, these are only some of the following new features coming starting with the first Episode of Chapter 1: Players will now play a more active role in the overall storyline with Victoria, and there will be a new achievement system, along with new variables that will make the story and journey more exciting and challenging for you and Victoria, but also for other main characters.
Besides the storyline, we’re also creating some additional content that will be used both in the VN game and for its promotion on various platforms. So, in the future, make sure to follow our website and social media profiles, where these will be shared.
Below, you’ll find two new teaser images from the upcoming new Chapter of Life in Big City. Just a little heads up, You and Victoria will face many unexpected and tough choices, and sometimes the seemingly more favorable option may not always be the best one. So, remember to keep an “Open Mind” in the start of your journey in Life in Big City. 😉 Just because a decision seems less important now, doesn’t mean it won’t affect the future and the fates of the characters later on, and you will experience Victoria like never before, friends. We will share more in the next Dev Update.
Lastly, I want to thank you all for your continuous support. Don’t worry about the game ever being abandoned—unless a tragedy happens, as long as even a handful of people remain interested in this project, we will never give up on finishing it. We have ideas and plans that will keep us going for at least several years to come. We just want you all to know we are truly committed to the new and ongoing development of Life in Big City, formerly Victoria in Big City, and will continue to do so in the best way possible.
The pace at which the game progresses depends on your support in many ways, and not just financial, but also through your positive comments, suggestions and even constructive criticism are all welcome. If you’re able to spread the word and promote the game on other sites and platforms, I’d be extremely grateful for that as well.

Dear Awesome Fans and Supporters!
I just want to take a moment to keep all of you up to date on our work progress, and make sure you’re not left without any updates for too long. Of course, work on the new upcoming remastered expansion, which will be titled Life in Big City, is still very much in full swing and we continue the awesome hard works.
Nevertheless, I’ve received quite a few messages asking about the release date. I totally understand your excitement, which makes me really happy, but I kindly ask for your patience and understanding. We also apologize our remastered expansion has taken longer than expected, as this can happen with any creative works, but we believe it will be worth the wait once our VN Game is released.
As with all creative projects life throws challenges our way, and although a large part of the work has already been completed, we are working hard to deliver something special for everyone to enjoy.
The hard work we are doing now will significantly benefit future updates and our work overall. We will do our best to make sure everything is done well, and with quality and precision at this stage to streamline and speed up the process for all upcoming Episodes of Life in Big City, (formerly Victoria in Big City), after the first one is released.
On another note, by the end of this coming week, I’ll be posting some teasers as always, and depending on our work flow, we may have something really exciting to share with all of you as well. 😉
Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding. It means a lot to us. And please, don’t believe any rumors that the game has been abandoned or that the original story is changing or anything else – other than the facts and what I have officially mentioned in my Dev Updates. I am always clear about everything that is represented when it comes to our VN Game, and if there are any changes with the game, or work progress or anything, I will make sure you hear it from us at Groovers Games first.
With that said, we’ve got plans and many awesome ideas for years to come for Life in Big City, and our Star MC, Victoria Hearty, along with many interesting characters in this exciting ongoing story and journey! We still have more work to do before we get to final testing, and when that is done, we will be announcing an official release date. * As previously mentioned, this is definitely going to be a very big and hot release, folks! The hard work and grind continues, and progressing very well. Although we have more work to finish, we are getting closer to finishing. We are now well over 1450 new Renders along with new animations that have been created and counting. This does not include all of the existing content and renders from the original and last version of the game – v0.55, which is being updated to match and flow properly with the new remastered expansion of Life in Big City.
As we mentioned in previous updates, this is definitely going to be a very big and hot release, folks! This new coming release is going to be epic, hot and very entertaining, and we can’t wait to share it with all of you!

As for a timeline on when the new coming Chapter 1 – v1.0 will be released, as you can imagine, a lot of work is going into our AVN Game for this new version, and although we expected to finish sooner to release Chapter 1 this month, there is still much work to be done. The stories are more than 80% completed, and in terms of additional renders, and other remaining works, not including final testing, this will definitely take us more time before Life in Big City - Chapter 1 – v1.0 is released. Basically, we will need several more weeks to finish all of the works for the new coming version of Life in Big City before we get to final testing, and soon after that we will announce an official release date.
Nevertheless, we will keep you all posted on our progress until we announce the official release date. The good news is that we are getting closer to the finish line every day, and we can’t wait to share this new and exciting chapter with all of you!
