many of you know how I've been having a really hard time getting the fatsona update out, a lot of real life misfortune and headspace issues have made closing it out an impossibility at the worst possible times. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for being so patient and supportive during the development of this update

I think I'm going to broaden my scope and work on some art/comms instead of being so focused on alpha 1. I've also recently started to work on new characters for fatsona and hackweight, along with some early developments on the new apex project, kinda looking to the future a bit. alpha 1 will be out sooner than later, it is a few days of dedicated work out from being done, but i'm not gonna keep trying to floor it when i'm currently out of gas with it

Idk what else to say, I really appreciate you all and I don't want to take it all for granted. Thank you for your continued support, and I hope the stuff i'm cooking up will be awesome and worth it in the end <3

Summer Side Project Announcement!

The voting for the Summer Side Project event has ended!

Over these past few weeks, my top patrons helped me decide what the next project I do will be, and here are the results from the polls!

The first poll was to decide the series of the project, whether it's from a game, it's new characters, or it's something else! I made a huge poll with a ton of options featuring some series I'm familiar with, along with ones I know that people really enjoy.

It was a pretty close vote, with Persona 4, Persona 3, Fire Emblem, and Street fighter all being tied for 2nd place. However, with 4 votes, Apex Legends was chosen as the winner!

The second poll was to decide the subject of the project, or the premise of the project. Patrons voted between 5 different ideas, which I won't share here (they are all very long), but with all of them down, here is the results.

The winning Option 1 was this:

A mysterious event causes a planet to become enveloped in an anomalous storm, leaving our legends stranded. Luckily, Pathfinder is unaffected by the toxic air and is able to venture out and gather supplies for everyone. The girls then have no choice but to stay at the base and keep themselves busy by snacking and socializing, with weighty consequences. Features multiple characters gaining weight, and different reactions to fattening up- to themselves and the others. When everyone is pigging out, even the most stubborn legends will too ;) -Characters (Wattson, Wraith, Loba, Conduit, Horizon)

With the main series and the specific subject down, it was time for the final vote!

This final vote was to decide the format of the project, whether it will be a game or a CWYPG challenge! Other subject options had different potential formats, but with Option 1 being the subject, the final vote came down to these two options.

And with that, the details for the Summer Side Project event have all been figured out!
I will now take some time to do some planning and prototyping, with official development beginning in late August- early September.

super quick update on seasonal events

as with most things in the metrack pipeline, events have been put off a bit as a consequence of fatsona breakout development. with the alpha 1 update coming out next month, I will start to focus more broadly on the other aspects of my artsy stuff, and that very much includes the seasonal events. namely, the summer side project!

for now, having only done a single spring cleaning ych fully, I don't want to shift gears onto the summer side project just yet. I plan to run a few more spring cleaning ych's very soon as to kind of catch up, and then head into next month with a BANG introducing the summer side project stuff as alpha 1 development comes to an end.

I think voting and planning for the summer side project will make most sense to conclude in august because just running it for july seems wild lol, though i see no reason as to why this should interfere with fat girl fall planned for later that month as well

at present, the ideas i have for the summer side project mostly involve short games, though I would still be very happy to do a comic or animation depending on what you all vote towards. recently I've been very interested in the possibility of a fortnite, valorant, or apex themed project. I don't know yet how much say I will insert into these polls, but I am open to suggestions as this is gonna be a collaborative thing thru-and-thru

i know this is kind of just a bunch of blabbering but I just wanted to address the events because spring cleaning ych has been sort of underwhelming and i dont wanna absolutely ignore the tier benefits. even if i think that fatsona development should take priority, ignoring stuff is a bad habit im gonna work on breaking. anyways yeah metrack POOF smokebomb

Wattson :D (Spring cleaning YCH #1)

So maayyyybe this is a bit of a funny thing to make as the very first speing cleaning YCH, because the final pose is incredibly different than the base sketch lol. Regardless, i’m still super happy woth the result and the purpose of Spring cleaning anyways is to reuse and repurpose these old sketches, so i’m not too assed about it coming out so different. If you’re curious what happened, I attached some wips of this kinda showing how I got to the final thing, it was mostly me trying to do a low perspective thing and not really getting the arm to fit well so I did the new pose and I think it turned out pretty good hehehaha
