Spent last week winterizing, I really need to spring for triple pane windows. Woke up this morning and it was damned cold, 18 degrees (The girls left me know...repeatedly). Glad I decided to get ahead of the curve on that.

Spent the past days since I got home running the chainsaw clearing my back yard of fallen trees. Taking a bit of a break before I get back to cutting. had a windstorm a few weeks back, now I'm the only fool cleaning.
Gonna miss that 35' Cottonwood. Might have to get another.
happened while I was gone. Sitting off the coast still having trouble with finding a slip. Thought there was very little damage done to the ports but DAMN!

OMG! That was a weak assed connect. Heading home so hopefully things will go faster. Girls are getting bored at St Kitts with the beaches and sun, looking forward to returning to the cold and grey of Ogden...yeah, it was hard to type that without laughing.

Finally hit a port with a strong internet. Ran a quick test an found the pain is gone, had a local hospital check the wrist and it looks like the cast is coming off soon. But they want me to 'Take it easy'. SO we'll stay out here for a few more weeks. Guess a pretty big windstorm hit Ogden earlier this week but my dog feeder said no damage. Once I get home I need to pick up on Carnivale, run Sally, and run these new images the girls have been giving me.

Taking some time in the gulf on the Cat while I'm healing. Sat around in port grabbing fuel and supplys while it rained, so figured I'd play on Daz (while the girls caught up on their sleep) and see how my arm is working. I cannot advise using a mouse with a cast and my Huion was absolutely excruciating. So I am clearly not ready to return to rendering yet. No suprise there. Heading back to the island in the morning, back for groceries in a week or so, I'll try again then.

I have to quit.
I was helping a friend move and slipped while carrying a box. Managed to fracture (nearly broke) my right wrist when I hit the garage door frame. Never had a cast before but I hate it already. The PA sez 2 months minimum to heal, probably longer. By the time I can use a mouse again pretty sure everyone will be gone (I know I would) so I'm locking up and saying good bye.
I'll most likely start up again when this is over, but right now I'm too messed up on pain killers and limited movement to be of any use.
Sorry. I did not see this coming.

Rough night. Girls slept in their own rooms for the first time in a few years. Guess the sun burn is still bothering them. Funny, they are already bugging me about going back to Jamaica now because of those little rum cakes...Tortuga(?) Might have to, can't find any barrel aged rum in the states, all steel tank, missing that faint wood taste.
Sorry for the rushed job. Both wives are demanding constant applications of aloe vera. Tried to warn them that the water throws back nearly as much sun as the sky. They managed to get a bit red so I need to put on the nurse cap LOL

Girls are making me hit the beach this weekend (starting today) which mean stocking the cat with food and diesel then navigating the gulf. Probably get back sunday. Enjoy the holiday!

Visiting each wives parents is a major pain. Why?

One works around 'at risk' kids all day, the other doesn't want to ruin her figure. BUT it is apparently my fault. You could actually see the humiliation in her eyes when her mother asked that. Hoping to be back tomorrow or friday.
Seriously, why are parents so old.
