Produce 101 Season 2 Ep. 1 Part 1

Okay, so as we mentioned, survival show episodes are very long, so we’ll be splitting them up as we go. This week’s reaction was to the first half of Episode 1.

It’s all about introductions and first impressions. We get to meet the full lineup of 101 male trainees — some are complete rookies, some have already debuted, and there are a few familiar faces mixed in. The trainees enter in small groups while everyone else is already seated, which makes for some super awkward and funny moments as they all size each other up. We were also so excited to see some familiar faces and a few of our guys in the mix — it definitely made things more fun.

Then we move into the initial evaluations where each group performs in front of the judges (the trainers), and they get assigned letter grades from A to F based on their singing, dancing, and overall stage presence. It’s tense, surprising, and already setting the tone for the season — a mix of talent, nerves, and that classic survival show energy.

Squid Game Season 3 Ep. 2 | Twitch Stream Reaction

They start the next game, which is this twisted version of “Hide and Seek” in a maze full of locked doors and traps. The tension ramps up fast, and both the Blue and Red teams start facing some brutal choices. There are a few really emotional moments and some unexpected betrayals that hit hard, but it’s also where you really start to see who’s willing to go how far to survive. Definitely one of those episodes that leaves you kinda stunned by the end, and left us in tears, twice.

Solo Leveling Ep. 17 & 18

Jinwoo joins the Hunters Guild’s raid team as a carrier, but of course, chaos breaks out when they get ambushed by High Orcs. He stays lowkey at first, helping the team from the shadows so he doesn’t blow his cover. But once things get serious, he unleashes his full Shadow Army and absolutely destroys the Orc boss, Kargalgan, even turning him into a new shadow soldier named Tusk. It’s super intense and definitely shows just how far Jinwoo’s power has come—and that he's starting to change the game entirely.

EXO Arcade Season 2 Ep. 6 (The Finale!)

The final round of games kicks off, and it’s pure chaos in the best way. The members are all super competitive but also just having fun messing with each other. One of the funniest moments was Baekhyun teasing D.O., saying “Kyungsoo is still in the palm of my hands,” which had everyone cracking up. The episode is full of classic EXO energy—loud, playful, and nonstop banter. BaekSoo’s bickering was a highlight, and honestly, it was just the perfect way to wrap up the season with laughs and good vibes all around.

Boys Over Flowers Ep. 9 | Twitch Stream Reaction

Jun-pyo ends up spending the night at Jan-di’s house and it’s a bit of a culture shock for him, but he starts to enjoy the warmth of her family. Jan-di takes him on a double date with Ga-eul and her rude boyfriend, which goes badly—Jun-pyo ends up punching the guy after he insults Jan-di. Things get more heated when Jan-di and Ga-eul track the guy down later and Jan-di kicks him, saying it was for both her and Ga-eul. Even though Jun-pyo was defending her, Jan-di gets mad that he acted without thinking and demands an apology, but he doesn’t think he did anything wrong. Ji-hoo shows up to quietly support Jan-di like he always does, and Yi-jung starts to show a more serious, caring side after seeing Ga-eul upset. Overall, this episode is a mix of drama, tension, and some sweet moments where the characters start to open up more.

Squid Game Season 3 Ep. 1 | Twitch Stream Reaction

This episode was heartbreaking from beginning to end for us. Gihun's rebellion was shut down and maybe killed while Gihun is thrown back in with the rest of the players, beaten and hopeless. That is, until he's told that Daeho abandoned him and the others fighting against the pink suits and hid in the players' quarters. This, of course, puts a target on Daeho's back and gives Gihun an outlet for his anger and devastation. Meanwhile I'll pink suit lady tries to save Dad and the next game is introduced....hide and seek with knives and keys. We end just as the game begins and we're already terrified for the next episode.

Solo Leveling Ep. 15 & 16

We return to this show with Jinwoo deciding to tackle the Demon Castle again, and he does pretty dang well, but while he's doing that, we're introduced to a new character being held captive in America who turns out to be Jinwoo's father. In episode 16, having left the Demon Castle for now, Jinwoo finally decides to get reevaluated, and the results are interesting to say the least, especially interesting to all the guilds looking for new recruits.
