User Gaboco316 in our Discord server has been a long time contributor to the pack, having created many custom textures. In the past, a handful of them have made their way into the full release. Today though, I am happy to finally bring his entire collection as a permanent feature of the pack! These textures are a couple years in the making, and this is by far the largest update the pack has or will probably ever recieve at one time. That being said, I'm not even going to try and bother listing out every texture, instead I'll let the screenshots speak for themselves.

Prime SMP V5 early access is live for Patrons!

Our server admin Hyper has been hard at work over the past couple months to bring together the most expansive version of our survival multiplayer server yet, playable on both Java and Bedrock!

As a patron, you get early access to this version of the server, and all future updates. In order to use your early access you'll need to link your Discord account to your Minecraft account through our Prime SMP Discord bot. Check out the #smp-info channel in our Discord for information on how to link and join, as well as in-depth information about the server.

Cherry door

First texture in a while! Been super busy lately with my final project at my university. This was a fun one to do though and I really like how it turned out.

Usually I stick as close to the vanilla textures as possible. However, on this one you may be able to notice I made the top lattice window a little bit smaller than the original. This is because Minecraft doors are rendered as two separate blocks, and having transparency across that edge created some really weird visual issues with POM (the tech that makes the textures appear 3D). This is the only door that has this issue, as all the others have opaque textures on the block seam.

Chiseled bookshelf, and texture remakes

These additions are available right now in early access to all Diamond and Emerald patrons through our Discord server! Full update for everyone dropping at the end of the month, as always :)

Added the chiseled bookshelf, as well as remaking the normal bookshelf, crafting table, enchanting table, and signs! (Now including the cherry sign)

Also went ahead and re-took the menu panorama with the updated PBR textures active. This month's release will also include a Lush Foliage version of the menu panorama which becomes active when the add-on is being used :)

POM, retextures, cherry planks, stripped cherry logs & more

These additions are available right now in early access to all Diamond and Emerald patrons through our Discord server! Full update for everyone dropping at the end of the month, as always :)

Continuing to chip away at 1.20 with cherry planks and stripped cherry log. Additionally, PBR development on the pack continues with the addition of POM, which allows textures to render in 3D! Currently, only a handful of textures in the pack support this.

Adding POM has also given me the opportunity to touch up some older textures. So far this includes a complete re-texture of all planks, and a refresh of cobblestone, mossy cobblestone, cherry leaves, pink petal flowers, and log/stripped log top textures.

PBR update dropping tomorrow!

PBR has officially been added to every block in the game!

Unfortunately, I've temporarily removed all specularity maps (this is what makes some textures shiny or reflective), as it was very inconsistent. This however is something I'd like to slowly re-implement in the future.

For the time being though, enjoy a screenshot dump of some of the textures you'll be able to get your hands on in tomorrow's update :)

(Tomorrow's update will also include the ender chest, and lambda better grass support from my previous post)

PBR, mod support, and more!

I've began work on adding PBR (dynamic block shading and reflectivity) to the pack! Something I've been wanting to do for a long time. The feature is in it's early stages, so please feel free to leave feedback.

Additionally, the pack now officially supports the lambda's better grass mod - a more fleshed out fabric alternative to optifine's grass features.

On top of everything, I've gone ahead and textured the ender chest (with full PBR support).

Everything shown off in this post, as well as the unreleased cauldron, scaffolding, and composter textures, can be tested right now by all Diamond and Emerald tier patrons by going to the #early-access channel in our Discord!
