As I mentioned before, I'm already working on the line art of the comic, now I'll start turning some of the pages or some frames gradually.

Some details and all the dialogues would be added at the end when all the lineart is finished

August Poll 2024

Due to the Olympic Games, this month's poll will be with French characters, originally would of sporty girls but that could be for another month.
Also, many of these were from fighting games hehe

July Notes

 
Another month of the year passes, the rains continue and for some reason the internet service was having problems all the time, so much so that I was going to post these notes yesterday, July 30th, but because of the internet service.

I have to post them today. But if I can say something good about this is that the weather is very nice.

 
But leaving aside the weather this month and its rains. During July it was not possible to advance much on "Volt n Blade" because the programmer was busy with work issues, so only some extra assets were made for the scenarios.
The musical theme of stage 2 is still being worked on by the musician of team.

 
I also want to say that July is a special month because it is the day I was born into this beautiful and horrorific world.
My friends and I went to a park to celebrate my birthday and that of another friend who has a birthday the same month as me... But it started to rain and we had to take shelter in a kind of kiosk...

But it was still a nice day, plus they gave me a Kirby car figure from "forgotten land" and the Kafun art book.

And in big news, this month I finally finished the storyboard for Chapter 1 of the monster maids, currently a friend is giving me some feedback, but in theory the storyboard is all finished except for a few details.

So now I'll move on to the "inking" and panel modification phase as well as any additions that come up in the process. So the updates to the comic will now be more eye-catching instead of just doodles. It's been a while but it's been worth it this month to finish the storyboard.

I think I'm a third of the way through finishing the entire comic of the first chapter, so far I've got 30 "pages", if all goes well in August I'll finish the sketsh phase.

I found it curious to make the analogy with Eris, the goddess of discord, and Hina, the goddess of misfortune and pest. The costume is based on Eris from "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy."

Volt n Blade: Stage 2 enemies (sprites) Part 2

It will be the last batch of enemy sprites for a while because many of the other enemies of stage 2 appear in water areas and that is something that will have to be programmed much further in advance, since the basic mechanics and enemies of the stage 1 are currently being programmed .

Since July is also a summer month, I will repeat the idea of ​​the bikini but combining it with dragon quest.

June Notes

We went from heat and suffocation in the environment to constant rains and storms. In mid-June the rainy season began in the center of the country (Guadalajara).

I wouldn't have a problem with that if it weren't for the fact that the heavy rains cause the power to go out where I live. Although fortunately it takes between 15 and half an hour to return.




At the beginning of this month I am quite busy, due to work issues.
Since May I have been working for a small animation studio. and usually they talk to me for a week to be supporting with some illustrations.
Reason why I couldn't advance my comic at all.
Although I will have to start being more organized with my times at the beginning of each month.

Although on the Volt n Blade side, this month has been very productive. I have been making sprites for several enemies from "Stage 2" and the musician is working on the theme for the same stage. During July if everything goes well, half of the enemy sprites would be finished.




Unfortunately this month I couldn't make any progress on the monster maids comic. Work and commissions have not allowed me to do so. I hope that this month of July I will have more opportunity to advance it.

P.S. The artist with whom I was going to make a collaborative touhou comic seems to be "lost in combat" so I'm starting to worry about him :S.

With the confirmation that the Dragon Quest 3 remake exists and will be coming out this year, it made me want to draw my characters like the classes in the game. Currently I haven't made much progress with the comic due to work issues.

June Poll 2024

Summer has already started and I'm probably dying of heat where I live.
But it's a perfect excuse to draw characters with a summer outfit, not to mention a bikini hehe.

May Notes

May was a fairly quiet month, I have had the opportunity to finish several orders (I still have some left but they are not that many). In addition to having spent a week with a client who asked me for several sketches for an animation.

Due to that assignment I was not able to advance other pending issues. But everything related to that assignment ended quite well.

I was also able to advance with several assets in Volt n Blade, this month "Stage 1" theme is finishing on the musician side. If this pace continues, there may be the possibility that a video with gameplay could be shown this year.
(It would not be the final result but it would be something more complete to show to the public)

On the part of the Comic this month I couldn't advance as much as the previous one, it's a shame I wanted to finish the storyboard by June but I can and it will take me a little more time. Plus he very possibly has a comic in collaboration with someone else. Reason why I should hurry up more with the monster maids comic.

Outside of those details I think there is nothing more to comment on. although currently I have the classic artist moment where he doesn't feel very satisfied with what he does.Classic blocks of not knowing what to draw.

I started playing Paper Mario TTYD Remake a day ago and recorded that I had made a humanized version of Ms.Mowz in 2015. I wanted to make a new version of the drawing.
