Large & In Charge (Rough Colours)

I went back to this big chap I created on stream to add some rough watercolours to him to help bring the sketch to life a bit more. I may still tinker more with his design for the final project (an animation later on in the Lokitu schedule) but I'm kinda happy with this looser brush style for works in progress like this.

The Dad Next Door, part 4 - Bonus Sketches

As you can see, the final illustration for this chapter took a few attempts to get right. It's always difficult showing intimacy between two guys with big bellies, since that can naturally "push" their lower bodies away from each other, and as an artist I want to try and show their physiques in full as much as possible, so it becomes a challenge to find the right angle.

It's been enjoyable to play with lighting and colours to convey mood and times of day in these illustrations, too!

Greetings, Titans! As I mentioned in my last video, I'm now basically combining the topic videos with the streams, so here's me creating a big Boss character from scratch who is going to appear in a future project (as an authoritative encourager for a growing chap...)

I got a new laptop not too long ago so I'm still figuring out my streaming settings - so apologies that I'm a bit scatterbrained in this video, but I've already taken steps to improving the next one! I hope you enjoy seeing this big bloke come together!

Hey everyone, I hope you are enjoying the story so far! Let me tell you, it took me FOREVER to get the poses and face angles right on The Dad in these pictures. Just getting a character to look consistent across multiple angles is never easy! It was really nice to be able to make a sunset scene for this chapter. I don't often get to do those.
