Autumn at the AirBnb

After the weekend in Chicago a photographer friend from Atlantna came up for the day so we could shoot Autumn at a high end AirBnb.  Honestly I was toast after the weekend in Chicago, but we had planned this shoot for awhile, and my friend had already purchased plane tickets.  Enjoy this sexy set!  There is one more set so stay tuned!

Emily at the Window

From 2020 when Emily came over for pizza and we ended up doing a beautiful natural light, fashion set.  No nudity in this set, but if you subscribe you will see much more of Emily!

Electric Vibes with Autumn

Another set from the Chicago shootout.  The models really got a workout as they were scheduled from 8:30 to 2:30 without a break.  In this set I used the LED tubes without strobes.  I really like how the color pops and those boots!!  

Alexis at the Pool

Another fun retro shoot from 2019.  A friend let me use his pool for a shoot with Alexis.  The direct sun is a real challenge and requires strobes to balance the light.  Pool shoots are often stereotypical, so we tried to set up unique and original poses.

MacKenzie Water Shoot

Currently we are enjoying record temperatures in Indianapolis, so I'm getting excited about setting up the outdoor shower.  These shoots are fun and creative, with lots of wardrobe options!  Be on the lookout for more water posts, especilly the spicy ones.

Spotlight Test with Autumn

Sunday I spent a couple of hours testing out my new spotlight adaptor.  It can be attached to a strobe or to an LED light.  I would prefer attaching it to an LED, but Since I don't have one I used my Godox AD400 strobe.  The spotlight comes with color filters and patterned inserts in addition to the circle.  Most of the patterns aren't useable for portraits, but a few work pretty well.  

Emily Bares it All

Back when I had the Grand Piano, Emily came to the studio for a some fashion and some good old fashioned sexiness.  Emily had health issues, so I'm not sure if she is still modeling.  Anyway enjoy.  

Harley Does Glamour

WOW back in 2020 I had the pleasure of working with Harley!  This was before I moved my main studio from the basement to upstairs.  The backdrops work really well in this set, I think I should do more like this.  

Phoenix Shootout - Autumn

Back in 2021 Autumn asked me to accompany her on a photo trip to Arizona and Las Vegas.  We spent a day in Phoenix shooting at a home nestled in the foothills, then traveled to Las Vegas stopping at an abandoned cabin in the high country south of Flagstaff.   This set is from the Phoenix location.  

Autumn at Chicago Shootout

Last weekend I attended a shootout in Chicago, an all day event with 8 models in attendance.    Of course Autumn was the star of the day, as you can see here.  I have a couple more nude sets from the day, but overall I usually don't get gret content from these types of events.  A dozen other photographers and cramped quarters makes it tough.

Grand Piano Eye Candy

My mother in law was a highly trained piano and organ musician.  She passed away in August of 2019, so I had her Steinway Grand transported from Florida to my home in Indianapolis.  I did several photo shoots using the piano as a prop, but this one is probably the best of all.  Kinda wwish I hadn't sold the piano as it made for a great prop and it was a beautiful piece of furniture!  Anyway enjoy!

Kyla in Studio

Back in 2021 I was shooting with Kyla pretty regularily.  This particiular shoot is an interesting combination off wardrobe and themes.  She has moved to Chicago so I don't get to work with her very often, but I will be doing a workshop on February 17th in Chicago.  

Courtney Hall Florida Sunrise

I was in Daytona Beach, FL in 2019 and arranged a sunrise photo shoot with Courtney.  Photographers often refer to this time of day as "The Golden Hour" and for good reason.  I didn't have any strobes with me so had to rely on natural light.

Courtney Naked Yoga

Back in 2020 Courtney came to my studio for a nude yoga photo series.  I used one overhead strobe to create interesting shadows.  

Autumn On the Beach

Miami Beach was windy and cloudy!  Probably should have waited until later in the day for the sun to be at a better angle.  We did get some great shots however!

Autumn Boudoir Florida

Back in 2021 we traveled to Miami Beach, Florida for 3 days of shooting.  Hoping for sunny and warm weather we were left disappointed, as it was very windy, cool and cloudy.  I will share beach photos in another post.  This was my first boudoir shoot with Autumn, and I only had my on camera speed light, so the lighing was tough.  

Laura - Alias After Dark

A local photographer, now moved out of town, used to host model shootouts at his loft apartment.  Not sure why he used the title of Alias After Dark, but I was able to make some new model contacts at his events.   

Ashley in Studio

Quite an eclectic mix of images in this set, from fashion to nude, it;s all here.  Probably a combination of 3 different shoots.  Ashley has a boyfriend now so I don't see any photo shoots in the near future.  Look for more of Ashley in the near future.

Mikah at the Asylum

This set is from last year at the Randolph County Asylum, abandoned in the early 60's and now used for events and public tours.  I have done several shoots over the last few years, but I think this is one of the best.  I'm pretty sure this area of the asylum was used for food preparation, or maybe storage of deceased residents, as there is a walk in cooler in the room.  

The theme here is to show the angst, struggle, desparation of being incarcerated in such a horrible place.  Mikah captures the mood perfectly. 

Anna Boudoir

Going way back to 2016, I did several shoots with Anna a Chinese foreign exchange student.  When she went back to China she left me with her entire modeling wardrobe.  I kept some of the clothes and donated the rest to Goodwill.  Shooting with Canon T5I and using LED lights. 

Personal UpDate and Looking Ahead

I missed the workshop in Las Vegas, but there is another one coming up in late April!  

Monday Januaray 9th I went to the ER with a collapsed lung, and finally came home yesterday.  Needless to say it has been a wild ride, including a chest drainage tube, laprascopy surgery, and scariest of all a small tear in my heart needing emergency repair.  All of this due to radiation therapy, causing damage to my lungs and resulting in the collapse of my right lung.

Autumn Nude with Prurple Gels

Saturday was another amazing shoot with Autumn.  We did 5 different sets, and the nude set was one of the best.  Look for more posts coming soon.  I will be shooting in Las Vegas this coming weekend with 3 gorgeous models, including, fashion, lingerie and nude sets.  In the mean time enjoy!

Josie in Studio

Another set from 2020 shot in my back porch shower setup.  When I first set up the shower I made a frame covered with a tarp to create a 4" deep pool, which helped to produce some great images.  Unfortunately the pool became to difficult to maintain, littered with debris (the porch isn't closed off) and yeah it's gross but my dogs thought it was a good place to do their business.  

Kimberly Jay Black Tape

From 2020 when Kimberly came to the studio for a Black Tape application.  She is a traveling model, accompanied by her girl friend.  Drakhan Blackhart is the founder and designer of the "Black Tape Project" who I get inspiration from, using vinyl and tape applications to create incredible body art.  

Whitney in Studio

Whitney came to my studio last year for a fashion/lifestyle photo shoot, looking for content to promote her modeling career.  I usually recommend three outfits, including fashion, casual and bikini or lingerie.  

Autumn Poses for Only Fans

Back in 2021 Autumn was wanting photos for her new Only Fans account, so we went to work creating some sexy content.  Not sure if she even does the OF account now, but if you want to look her up on OF her handle is Tumthecreator

Stephanie Street Photography

Outdoor photo sessions are sometimes the most challenging especially when using only natural light.  This shoot was done down town Indianapolis, at the Bottle Works district.  Another challenge is finding a place to change outfits, and the model needs to feel comfortable posing in public.  

Alexus Bodyscape

Alexus posed for a bodyscape shoot earlier this month.  I think the experience of doing the shoot itself is more important for the model than the photos produced.  Many women feel insecure about there bodies, so posing nude is liberating.  My role as the photographer is to help the model feel comfortable and secure, and to produce flattering images.
