As I'm sure some of you might have noticed already, the Patreon tiers have been changed up quite a bit. This is mostly because as the Patreon has grown, I've been finding it hard to keep up with everything. It's been getting more stressful to handle and with how I had been doing it it just wouldn't have been sustainable long term.
The way the new tiers and rewards are laid out should make everything a lot easier for me, which will hopefully mean more time for comics.
The only major change or effect that this should have on the Camper Tier, which is now renamed to the "Readr" tier is that you'll now only be able to read up to two pages ahead, rather than the previous three pages. As for any tiers that receive personal rewards (sketches, comics, etc) you'll still be able to stay on those tiers, and receive rewards the same way you'd gotten them previously. Though no new people will be able to join, and no one will be able to rejoin the old tiers after they leave.
As for the new tiers! You can expect to see a lot more community based rewards, there are also tiers with commission discounts, Patron exclusive streams, and lots of drawings ^^

Patreon Reward for Phil ^^
Considering this is my first patron comic reward, I think it turned out nicely! It's a birthday present for next month, so I won't be publicly posting it for awhile.

2022-01-02 04:00:55 +0000 UTC View PostJust writing to let you guys know that I've edited the tiers and updated my rewards system a bit. ^^ This'll only be affecting VIP Campers and up, Campers and Tips won't be affected by this.
From now on I'm going to be using a Token system, rather than just plain rewards since lots of people prefer to save up their rewards for upgrades. So with the new system, VIP campers and Gold Campers will be getting Tokens that can be traded in for rewards.
There are more details on my page description but I'll copy them here for convenience.
Rewards
Tokens: Several tiers will give you tokens, you can redeem these tokens whenever you'd like for different rewards!
Single Character (with optional background)
Optional Extras
In summary, VIP campers can still get a sketch every month, but can more easily save up their rewards and Gold Campers can still get a shaded piece per month. But they could also split the tokens and get a Flat piece, and a Sketch every month ^^

He thought that it was weird that the only required clothes to bring was a wizards hat, but when the headmaster handed him a set of diapers it dawned on him. Turns out (most) clothes hinder magic casting, ah well, you don't need to feel ashamed of wearing diapers if the rest of the class is wearing them too!

I've been doing one a week for a couple of months now and it's just getting too much for me to keep up with, along with juggling life stuff and the other art I do for a living.
I still want to do the comic, but each page takes me around 10+ hours to complete, depending on the complexity and page layout and all that fun stuff. And it's caused me to stay up, wreak my sleeping pattern and just generally stress out.
So until further notice, I'm cutting down to two pages a month, or one every fortnight. I feel really bad about it but I can't keep up with it and I'd rather do this now, than burn myself out over it.
Again, I'm really sorry.
